Best mobile app for in depth Bible study! Download one of the translations that has Strongs numbers (NASB or KJV, or ESV if you were lucky to be using this app back when their publishers allowed it) plus the Strongs Greek and Hebrew dictionaries, and you can easily dig into the meanings behind the words of the original languages. The search functionality is excellent. And the library of texts you can install (Bible translations, commentaries, etc) is vast. Well done!

Very nice for in-depth studying of the Bible. But the major problem is the audio which is virtually not working, showing up 'stop' whenever audio symbol is touched. Please resolve for complete 5 stars The error problem still persists even more serious, kindly check and resolve for better; Hence the upgrade impediment. Having taken care of the said problem, the app is highly recommended for desirous in-depth seekers of the TRUTH in fluent understandable diverse versions. Deserve more than 5.

Download translations/Strongs/documents from AndBible/CrossWire/eBible/more. Love the TTS auto-bookmarking feature, which updates the bookmark. Backup/restore is a lifesaver. If app crashes at init screen, delete its storage and restore it from backups. Reinstallation is unnecessary. REQUESTS: Strongs greek links. Currently, to get the SGreek entry for something in the Bible, one must open SHeb with link, open SHebGreek entry, and then open SGreek entry. ☦️RC

I really like the app. There is something i want you to add to the widget. It is linking bookmarked verses to widget so that one can have those bookmarked verses displayed in the phone desktop and has the ability to auto verses change at daily intervals.

I have used Bible Study App (aka andBible) close to a decade. Periodically, I will use other Bible study apps. I have not seen a better Bible app. (From USA).

You guys have really screwed up what was a great Bible App. The new format just befuddled me. Can you please give me back the old version, pretty please? Otherwise I'm going to find another app thats not so crazy, like what is with the dotted lines under every line of scripture, it makes it really hard to read!!!!

Really appreciate the app. I like the various commentaries that are available as well as the ability to have personalized bookmarks and make personal notes. I also like the ability to backup the bookmarks and notes. There's a lot more, like the ability to have a split screen and simultaneously read from two different sections of Scripture. thank God for this app!!! May it be used for the glory of GOD! I've used this app for years and still feel it is an excellent app. Until the latest update this would easily have been a 5 star rating - multiple versions, easy of use, multiple workspaces. However, I disagree with those who love the new update. My carefully kept and organized notes are now a jumble of run on sentences. Bookmarks missing or changed. New markings for bookmarks and notes that are distracting. Please give me back my carefully accumulated data and a less distracting interface

Edit.. changed my review to 5 stars because of using the day/night mode incorrectly. Four stars for just one thing... the latest version ate the navigation buttons at the bottom of my phone. Please fix this. Otherwise, it's a great, robust app. It would be awesome if it still had the ESV (I did give Crossway my 2¢). The app is starting to become overly, uh, "engineered"? It used to have tons of functionality and was simple, now is more complicated, but still the best one out there.

This app was the best (small footprint, fast/responsive, useful features) I could find several years ago and it gets better and better, both with minor tweaks to the UI (most recently it has made the app feel sleeker) and significant new features. I love the range of bibles and commentaries etc. available to download, and especially the daily reading plans. A keeper I've grown to rely on and use every day.

Used to be a good App but, the last update destroyed it. Now it only shows a blank screen when the App runs.. 30 Oct 2021 update. The feedback given appears to be general purpose, in my case, the App they want me to update in not accessible. Additionally, on my tablet where the App does function properly, copying text has been compromised to the point where it significantly increases difficulty. How can I go back to a previous version?

The app works great! It has many translations to choose from and you can download them to your phone and use Bibles without an active internet connection. They also include Strong's notes (ie: KJV) and thus the definition is available at a fingers touch. Not the best note taking but seldom does any Bible app have everything necessary to do what a computer does without overloading your phone. Thus, I am saying I am very well pleased. I use it for helping me study all of the time.

I thoroughly enjoy the And Bible app after looking at other apps. The download of Bible translations went smooth, and it did not take me long to find my way around within the app. The numerous options in the settings menu made it possible to customize to all my preferences. Reading in And Bible is easy and enjoyable. Thank you to all the developers.

Out of all of the Bible reading and study apps I've tried, this one is my favorite. It does a great job of organizing various Bible translations, commentaries, maps, etc as modules. The interface for turning reference numbers on and off, and even switching translations are straightforward and easy to customize for my needs.

11/18/20 I have used the Bible Study app for many years. It's top notch and problem free. Navigation is superb. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9/13/21 The address (Book, Chapter, Verse) at the top is very small. Would you display the address in the first line with the users color and font preference? Also, I don't have the touch to copy verses with your new method. Would you make copying multiple verses easier? Your app is the best. Thank you.

I had a glitch where only old testament books were displayed, but I think this was down to the Bible version (the Apostles Bible) as the KJV was fine. I love the layout of this app, and really wish other Bible apps could use the multi-window approach. I've downloaded kindle versions of various commentary Bibles and you have to click on hyperlinks to see the relevant notes, a synchronised two window approach would be perfect. Shame that the licenses will not be given for the most popular translations

excellent bible app, being ad free is great. very customizable search. one thing though, the default order of books of the Bible is vertical, top to bottom..please consider adding an option to list the books horizontally, the same way we read, left to right. this would result in finding the desired book faster.

Very disappointing. In the past, when I was viewing a verse, I used to be able to see that same verse in another translation of my choice with ONE TOUCH. Then see the next translation with one touch, etc. I have downloaded 10 translations to see every verse I want to in up to 10 translations instantly, all done off line. But after I updated the app recently, this feature disappeared. Now the app is a huge disappointment. UPDATE: Developer has confirmed that this feature has been removed. Sad.

So far it is liked over at least 6 others I've tried. That said the search option provides no spelling correction option giving us less then good spellers a difficult time. Perhaps I've overlooked something ? Also no download option for the NIV Bible is surprising. Another weak spot is words or phrases found in search should be highlighted and number of occurrences should be permanently shown at top for both old and new Testament and not just a quick popup with total that goes away quickly.

Hi guys - this is by far the best app that suits me, I love the referencing it saves so much time rather than go to a huge concordance it's done all here, foot noting page highlights are easy. It's such an easy friendly app with all the great sources. However for some unknown reason I can't see any texts, it happened suddenly? Help.

Cant find the Old Testament in any of the models downloaded on my chromebook, am I missing some steps here? I have had this apps on my phone for some times now and it works find.

This is a great bible app. Easy to use, fast and convenient.

This is an excellent, powerful, and free resource for studying the word of God. I love how the interface design is clean and simple, yet the wealth of information accessible to you is so extensive. I use it as an invaluable reference tool for commentaries, Greek translation, and Spanish and German translation when on gospel trips to South America and Germany. Though this app isn't perfect, it accomplishes its various functions very well. Thank you!

I love how that many translations can be synchronized (each in its own individual tab) to allow you an easy way to compare the versions. Any time you change to a new passage, all the versions in the tabs follow along, so you are ready to compare once again. Nice. Would like to see ESV be added.

This is my go to Bible app. I've had and used many over the years from PC to PDA to Mobile. And Bible (based on The SWORD Project from Crosswire) is the best Bible tool I have ever used. It's easy, fast, and has a wide selection of the translations and work made by Christians over the millenia. Well done, developers! I share this with all those who ask about a Bible program and those who install it are never disappointed with it. I see them still using it months and months later!

Loving the enhancements recently made, really great thanks, especially option of showing Strong's as fine dotted underline without the numbers showing, and the copy enhancements, and so on! Only thing for other current users of the old AndBible to know, was that after the update to new version (4.0.601 9/9/21), some people could think they have lost the app, as both the Icon, and it's position in app List has changed – due to the new name.
