AndroVid - Video Editor

This is one of the few apps that allows you to merge videos without re-encoding and lowering the quality. So long as you keep it simple and keep the file types the same. It's extremely useful for me as a video merger. My tablet can't render an hour of video in one go - but I can do it in two goes, then merge those two files with this. Without re-encoding, it's very fast and doesn't harm the quality of the video. Slight bit of lag in the first half-second of each video prevents it getting 5*.

It's a great app for doing that I want to do. It's the best one, the only one that really give you access to the best trim, slow & ff, edit tools. Problem is a lot of times my videos won't save, that somehow error instead. A lot of my older videos in Google photos don't pull up like they're supposed to so I can't edit them. And in trim it seems like it would better show you what time your at in the clip so it's easier to determine where you start/end it. There's some confusing way that it shows

This is not an app to waste money on in my opinion. Once pictures are added you can only reposition the order one picture and one space at a time. No drag and drop. Editing pictures didn't work for me. I went to rotate one picture and nothing happened. Tried to crop a picture, nothing happened. I set the video to play to the time of the music i had chosen and it over ran by 9 seconds. A clip of any significant time length will take about half an hour to prepare. Too slow.

This app is straight forward and really powerful. I personally do not use it as my main video editor. But all the tools that are included in this app are perfect. It makes getting all the little necessary jobs done easy and fast. Converting files is a breeze. I HIGHLY recommend this app to anyone who regularly produces a lot of video or image related content and needs to switch file types often. This app will become your best friend.

Great app, with lots of features for editing videos. Some of main problems l see are lots of ads that appear to contribute to exhausting the tablet memory and causing it to freeze, and it also takes a long time to process the video output when editing (longest of any video edit apps l ever used). Hope for improvements in future updates, but for now am uninstalling it.

This app is good. Easy to use also. I am impressed with the feature of conversion as well. I am having a request. You may easily incorpate a feature to trim by specifying the start and end time manually (not using timer). You may also add feature to trim 10 sec from the start time. If you implement this feature I may buy this app's paid version. I couldn't resist telling about your watermark. It is placed in a beautiful way. You may add a provision to adjust the postion and font.

Overall simple and easy to use. I can't figure out how to add a fade in and out at the end of videos vs. the sharp cut off it does now. That is the feature I need so I'm forced to cancel subscription and try another. Otherwise it's simple and just works with no frills!

Amaging! Go for it :) Love the app.. what not!! you can do everything in this. Edit videos, photos, songs, etc. You can chose a background sound and still have the original audio of your video in the background playing softly. You can increase or decrease the audio sound, choose effects for editing.. Thank you for providing an amazing app.

I tried adding a song to a video of me lip syncing which of course took me quite some time to get right. But once I finally did and I converted the video the quality of the song went incredibly low and the voice of the real singer sounded weird. And besides that my video played at a lower speed which made all my trouble with the lip syncing useless. I bet it's a useful app but just not for me. I deleted it again.

Definetly the best free option for those who want to do real video editing on the go. AV has it's quirks. but ads are light and it rarely crashes even when editing heavy videos. It would be nice if I could change the opacity of effects overlays, histogram sliders need some fine tuning. All things considered, it's hard to beat. Pro version is worth a look as well.

I've been usung this app for two years, and now they've suddenly added all these stupid updates that make it so much more difficult to add slme simple text to a video. Before, it was one easy click, but now I have to click the Edit button, watch a freaking ad to remove the watermark, and add the text. Half the time it doesn't even save the video or add the text properly so I have to redo the process FIVE TIMES sometimes!! Also, the app keeps cropping my videos by default and I have start over

Used to be an excellent app I used on the daily. Now every single action I perform on the app (crop video, trim video, add text, etc.) results in the app crashing about 7% of the way through the progress bar. Promptly uninstalled after numerous attempts to clear cache and data, uninstall and install again but still crashed every time. Have now searched for a new video editor app which is a pity because I considered buying the upgrade version but have now thankfully avoided it.

Videos disappering, WHY ?? I paid for the Pro version, which WAS working great !! But for some reason, now this app is losing my videos, plus right after I go through an hour of editing. Once, ok maybe my fault. Over & over, nope it's the APP !! I'm so frustrated ! I lost at least 10 hours of work !! I'm looking for a new Editing App if I don't hear from them. I left several emails.

Keeps crashing when I try to save my videos. Considering I've paid for premium to get rid of the ads I'm a bit disappointed. I use it to edit tiktoks, but at this rate I will be trying to find something else. Gets 3 stars because the options it has are great, I'd just like it to actually save what I'm doing.

Why won't preset aspect ratios in cropping work anymore? 4:3 never shows the right height and width. (I have a calculator to check first) With every update it gets more disappointing.. It was my 1st choice for cropping. Now it's not good at all . Trying too hard to look like InShot , but not not working nearly as well as Video Guru or You Cut. It's just terrible now. When I trim a section out, the trimmed out section has out of synch sound. Uninstalling. Bye Andro

Yay hella functional, lots of features! My favorite is the one where you find out it's not free unless whatever your doing is less than 3 minutes, doesn't involve joining two cuts together that will exceed 3 minutes, or basically anything other than video frame grabber. Uh..oh yeah. Don't expect the frame you select to actually be the one it saves. I would say it's highly inaccurate, except inaccurate would suggest it's aiming. Nope. Random it Seems

After I figured out how to use it which took a while the only thing I have qualms with is it does not save all the videos that you create after Trimming but this is a really really good video for what you need if you have to edit certain parts of the video and still save the integrity

Don't upgrade to Pro I upgraded to have more music selections and when I use them my social media accounts get flagged for copyright violations even though I correctly credited the artist and song. Canceled subscription. Why pay extra if you can't use the product of the program?!

Installed on Moto G6. I've been using this app for about a week to create short videos from still photos for my cat's Instagram account. That is the only feature I've tested and used. So far I haven't encountered any glitches or bugs using that feature. It's very intuitive and easy to use.

What?! It just does whatever it wants with my edits! Sometimes just gives an error trying to download a finished edit but if the download succeeds the result is anything but what I've just previewed. The videos have lenghty pieces missing and audio disappearing in the middle or somehow it has slowed down to half speed! So so glitchy app...omg...

Failed on the simple task of merging two videos together. Stuck on 0% preparing for ages. They were originally the same video which I cropped in another app.

This app so many features other apps don't have and one of those is the crop and save feature so simple yet so hard to come across by any other app And if anyone thinks I might be crazy this app crops and saves the file as is Not when you save it you have to specify a resolution it saves the resolution you cropped out simple

Oh my God! This app is great for editing short videos but.....it’s really irritating when it takes a long time to save the video though it is short. Otherwise it’s good. It has some helpful option. It’s really nice but I won't give this 5 ★ coz it's really slow while saving videos

Easy to use, nice features. The only thing I don't like is if you're in the middle of processing a video and you turn your camera on its side it stops the video from processing.

Don't purchase the paid for version as it is even worse than the free version and you will just be wasting your money. What was once a very good video editing application has mutated into a complete and utter mess. Incapable of performing even the simplest of tasks without messing up one thing or another.

Does not save the video correctly. I downloaded this for the sole purpose of adding text to a short video clip. I moved the text near to the bottom. When it saves it, it moves the text to the middle again and enlarges the text so only 2 HUGE words can be seen with what I can only call a watermark.
