This replaced first words shapes and COLORS. Those apps were educational and interactive. The were so well designed that my little one could go through the numbers and shapes on her own as young as 12 months and loved the songs at the end. This app doesn't have the same songs, or even learning content. It doesn't go through numbers letters shapes or colours. And it's more video than interactive. The other was a staple in our lives. This on I don't plan on opening again unless there are changes

Not nearly as good as old app. My child just has to watch the screen there is not much interaction and the animal viewing pages are nowhere near as good as the old app. Considering removing the app. Thank you for your comments but I did have it on the child's view and I would disagree that this view is more interactive. Within the Sign Along Songs there is no interaction at all, all my child has to do it watch the videos unlike the previous apps where she has to press the page to move the song on. Whilst there is some interaction on some of the other pages its not as user friendly for younger kids.

Ugh. How could you lock people out of perfectly good apps and replace them with this trash? It's less interactive, less interesting, and just overall terrible. Just let my kid keep playing with shapes and colors! Editing to add: I see a reply on another app pointing to the art studio instead of shapes and colors - it's nothing alike! Way too complicated and doesn't play music. We miss the old apps!

There's aspects of this app my kiddo enjoys, but she preferred all of the other FP app options. She's enjoyed the shapes with the piano and moving the shapes around on the screen. I can't see why there cannot be both; options are always nice, especially with the apps current "issues". Now the app does not work to access the different options once in the 'childs view's menu.

I don't like this new version very much! The old apps were so much better. My granddaughter absolutely loved them! This new one doesn't even start up in the kid mode! Upon opening you have to click to go to kid mode! This is going to frustrate my granddaughter having to bring it to me each time to change it for her! Please bring back all the old ones!

I have to agree with the other users. The new app is NOTHING compared to the old abc, shapes and storybook apps and Im very disappointed to see that they've all been rolled into this one app. The other apps were WAY more interactive and engaging and the songs were great as far as kids learning songs go. The new app is basically like one big video that almost seems to aim to "dumb it down". Its quite boring. Not a good move fisher price.

At this point, I'm comfortable in pleading for the previous application to be reinstated. Allot of parents have given plenty of feedback. I absolutely agree in regards to the previous app being much easier to navigate. My son feels so accomplished when he is able to press and see the letters in order. We do a dance. Its absolutely adorable. This "update" is a nice thought and I'm sure there are others who potentially even enjoy it, but if its not broke, don't fix it.

I am SO disappointed that Fisher Price "Sing & Play Storybook" apps are now gone. I am a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments, and this was one of the BEST apps for my students that were blind with multiple impairments. There are students that have very little movement and vision, but they were able to pick their storybook and turn the pages. Storybook 1,2,&3 were amazing for cause and effect exploration!! What a loss! Please bring them back! There are so few apps available 4 theblind!

I found the new abc and 123 to be less user friendly as the ones that were eliminated to make way for the new. I don't like the videos instead of interactive content. I wish there were more apps instead of condensing so much into one. What mini games I did like the little people, the puppy stickers, the shapes and the drawing. What I hope Homer adapts into new apps from the old content simple books to read, dressing puppy for the seasons, where's puppys, matching games and a piano option.

I'm so disappointed. Puppy was one app both my sons loved as toddlers, & one I was happy to give because there was just enough content, no ads, & easy for toddler fingers to navigate. I never had to hover for fear of accidentally clicking ads or backing out of content for them, even using "Kids." This new app is not designed for tots, has too much going on, & has extra music & noise that, in my opinion, detracts from learning. I opened it & my toddler immediately said a resounding NO! I agree.

Boring, boring, boring app. The "improved" app is the absolute worst. We used several of the Fisher-Price apps for many years. My oldest is 5 and he loved them as a toddler. My now 1 year old loved the old shapes app so much. It was incredibly interactive and easy for a young toddler to use, with fun sounds and music. The new app is very boring, not interactive, and basically just says the shape names. Uninstalling this new app immediately.

Amazing! no ads great learning activities that are engaging and entertaining. Keeps interest while unknowing to child they learning shapes and numbers and alphabet! Child's mode is a dream come true. Switch to child's mode and then pin app to screen and no worry whatsoever about ads or unwanted app switching or purchases! Best I've found ever! You got more like this or one same one that's got even more stuff but requires one time purchase to access? I'll buy it right now no hesitation.

Why in the world would you get rid of all of the fun, easy to use apps and replace them with this? My kids loved the First Words app and the storybooks apps and they absolutely hate this one. It's boring and more difficult for them to navigate. Either bring the other ones back individually or make them all available in one app. This was a bad move. Guess we'll be looking for new favorite apps. 🤦‍♀️🙄

Who made the ridiculous choice to get rid of the old apps, "shapes and colours" & "puppy"?? Who ever did obviously does not have young children, or at least, not one with special needs. The old apps were my 3yr olds favourite and he is very distressed he can no longer play it. By all means, add a new app. Don't get rid of a perfectly good ones in the process! Please bring it back and save the sanity of many parents.

My kids all grew up playing "puppy" the old version. now my 2 yo child has to relearn on this new version. there are songs on the old version that didn't come over to the new one. the new one no longer reads you a story (highlighting the words as you go). there is no timer or playlist adjustments. i don't like that i have to go through parent mode to get to kid mode. most kid apps default to kid mode with an option (discreetly in the corner) to change to parent mode. no kids lock either

I have two disabled twins and the old app was a life saver. They both loved it and the music and could easily use the app. They have fine motor problems and our therapist showed us the app and it's done wonders. Now its no longer here and this replacement is too difficult for them to use. Please as a parent of two special needs kids bring the old app back. Or at least give me a way to install the old version and stop updates so they can play it. My special needs kids need that app very much.

This app is definitely a downgrade from the previous apps. I understand wanting to streamline and maybe merge into one but the graphics are boring, the content is limited and it does not contain the fun and educational content that we loved from the previous apps. I would really love for you to bring back the first words app at least.

All. A. Nov 16, 2020

I absolutely loved the old app and so did my child, but neither of us care for this one. This one is harder to navigate. She was able to use the other one on her own. And the songs and letters from the old app aren't on here anymore. Very disappointed bc we used the old one all the time. I would have liked the option to keep the old app and install the new one as well. Please bring back the old app exactly how it was. She misses it. This one is terrible and the other was perfect.

My 2.5-year-old grandson loves this app. I am only giving it three stars because, unless we have a stellar Wi-Fi connection for his tablet, the games won't load. He is nonverbal autistic, so his immediate reaction is to cry and bang his head against the wall. We aren't experiencing this issue with any other apps he uses. It has gotten to the point where we have to uninstall the app if we won't have good Wi-Fi and then reinstall it when we get to a place with better Wi-Fi. Please fix this!

So the more we play this new version I realize, it's not as user friendly for a child below 2 or 3 years old. The videos are nice as before, but the other activities are not clear for my 20 month old the other version was better for this age. I'm still requesting for the "First words with the blocks" to be added back. My little one really loved that one. She cried when it was not there anymore. She doesn't enjoy this new version as much as before.

The editors keep giving everyone the same reply. They just say they will pass it on to the developers. If everyone already said they dislike it why has it not removed and redone! Its horrible! Its the new updated one but its so complicated to use especially for a little one. The previous ones would allow the child to b able to touch the tablet with out them being able to exit, but this one doesn't. And it's not the right size images everything is super zoomed in.

The previous apps are way more better than this new one. My son love the app with levels 1 to 3 where he would choose the pairs and the weather. He also loved the the different nursery rhymes and the shape app where he can touch the shape for a lonnnnggg time. This one makes it look like the child is running after the letters and shapes. I just hope they could make just like the old one especially the shapes, first words with blocks and the animal sounds, and songs.

Disappointed. My son enjoyed all the fisherprice apps... The storybooks especially... His favorite was playing with the mouse in hickory dickory dock. He doesn't understand why I won't let him play his favorite games. 😭 He's 1. Why disable the original content apps if you aren't even going to include the same songs in the new app?? This has some fun activities so it isn't terrible but when I downloaded it I was expecting to see the original content all in one app, which would have been amazing.

Sam. M. Jan 14, 2021

Really shocked that you removed a perfectly functioning app for this... My daughter loved to play the first words app from that she especially enjoyed the seasons and matching games, I would of happily purchased that app prior to its removal! Unlike this new app the previous one had a simplistic layout which was great for little ones and was full of interest and colour! This new one seems so blank, dull and lacks the ability to draw much interest at all, such a shame 😩

Jes. M. Nov 12, 2020

They deactivated the old app and put in a hard redirect to this one--which would be okay except it won't even install, isn't compatible. On a Samsung "kids" tablet less than a year old. Fortunately the old apk is available through third party app installers but do NOT let it connect to wifi. Ever, or you'll be back in the same boat. Not cool guys.

Hi, please bring back the old shapes and colors app. Where they sing and bounce around. My brother has special needs and he still has that app on his tablet and he isn't very careful with his devices. So, in case I would need to replace it, I can't download that app anymore. And he loves it. I downloaded this one and I know he wouldn't like it because it doesn't really work and he would have a hard time navigating through it. Please, please bring it back or at least something very similar!

The new app is awful. My toddler loved this color and shapes game and the new one is boring to her. Edit based on developer reply: Yes, we are in child view. It's boring. For example: moving the screen around doesn't cause the characters to fall with the movement of the phone.

Sar. M. Oct 14, 2020

My toddler absolutely loved the other apps. I am really disappointed that this one doesn't have any of those games on it. This not a bad app, but it is harder for my son to navigate on his own, and it does not have much that he is interested in. He has autism, and the other apps were much more straightforward, and on his level. I beg you to consider bringing them back or adding them to this one! 😁
