Animated Analog Clock Widget

Good! Taking into account there is no a lots of Clock Widgets with such a choice of shapes and sorts! For battery concerns I think it is correct. I tested it on Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018-Oreo) with Gsam Battery app and it not show any CPU and battery consumption! Of course the "second" hand is not working and it is switched of!

This clock widget used to be excellent. Now it is buggy. Fails to sync with phone time especially when changing time zones. After screen time-out or when phone is awakened some random /inaccurate time is displayed. Widhet app must be opened to correct which is inconvenient.

Great widget! Android 10 warns this is an old app that may have issues. Seems to still work fine, but maybe you could update to avoid this warning and falling off a cliff with The next Android release.

What you mean when say its amination clock? Find a iPhone, and see the clock icon, see how it running and you will understand what is "amination"!

Animated clock just frozen. The minute and hour hands work but then there was an update or something a long while ago and not it has a bright red second hand. That would be fine except that the bright red second hand is just as thick as the others so draws your attention and it doesn't move. Please get rid of it until it can run smoothly every time instead of just sitting there, frozen.

I have had this app for 3 years or so and it worked great until earlier today. The clock face is frozen and only seems to update every minute with the digital clock. The secondhand doesn't move at all. I have a Samsung Galaxy S 6. Please fix.

If you wanted a classic clock, this was just about perfect, clean, clear, with all numbers shown and a ticking second hand. But then it did not work on Lollipop. Other clocks can get the second hand ticking on the latest Android, so this one should too. It has already been too long to get it fixed. I waited long enough then installed another clock, not so lovely to look at by a long way, but the second hand ticks.

Since the last update the second hand no longer moves. Please update and fix or it looks like everyone (including me) is deleting it. Installed "Simple Analog Clock [Widget]" and I've got a second hand again. Screw these guys, they could have fixed this a long time ago.

Been using for years, but am disappointed that the second hand stopped working - and still doesn't work on Android 7 Nougat. Previously, when the second hand stalled, my device was VERY busy (even text entry wouldn't work!) I used it to reliably tell when phone is available again-and of course to know the exact time to the second, Donated, but now sadly looking for a replacement.

This is a beautiful widget, but it consumes too much of my battery. Developer should figure out how to make it sleep when the widget isn't being displayed (which is most of the time). UPDATE v 3.4.1: thought I'd try it again, but now the second hand doesn't sweep at all (under Lollipop).

I prefer using an analog clock to tell time and most of the phones I have had only have a digital clock option. This app works great and has a good variety of faces to choose from with the optional style packs. I noticed someone complaining that it was not free (because of a donation request?) but I have never had to pay to use or continue using it so, free!

Nice . Simple . Works . UPDATE: Second hand does NOT work. I'm still on Android 4.4.4 so it's not the OS (apparently 5.1.x has same issue) as some might think. UPDATE: same day - Second hand is now functioning. Sort of. It occasionally skips a second and waits two seconds before moving again. It's worth the $1.25 donation because it's a good app and great widget but I'm hoping this hiccup will be addressed soon.

Very good designs. Standard clock theme is the best. Love the animated clock hand for the seconds. However, unlike some other animated clock widgets, this one does not animate on Nova Launcher. I also think the clock styles need an HD update. It's pixelated when enlarged.

I made the donation when I first got this for my tablet (Dec '14). Now it is useless on my new phone. Why hasn't it been fixed? Had to get another app/widget for the phone. It doesn't look quite as nice but at least it works! There is no point in this app if the second hand doesn't work. BTW you don't actually have to make the donation, it will be in your widgets regardless.

I used to like this but the second hand broke some time ago. I just tried again in my shiny new Pixel and it's still broken. No thanks.

One issue is the seconds hand will lag most times. I really wish it could show a world clock though. Then it would be complete. Plus, I find the style packs are a bit short to my liking.

Great Looking App. Android Nougat won't let second hands work. Glass Inner + Outer are best for stylish clock look. My favourites are :- Sense UI Glass Light looks Great - Love the closer minute lines + numbers on the outside - wish hands were bigger. Sense UI Light - Love large hands, great 3d effect, stylish but closer minute lines are useful. Modern Light - Best in modern. I'm more into tiny icon sized clocks, so numbers are helpful. ★★★★★

The functionality in the second hand WAS working, but now it just freezes wherever it is when I go to check the time. It's a small problem, but for such a small program, you'd expect it to work.
