Anime In 10 Words

The rule is simple: choose the answer that suits provided description the most! There're also 3 types of hints in case you got stuck at some point: "additional info", "50/50", "one mistake is ok".

★ "Anime" - We all watched tons of those, but do we still remember at least the plot?
★ "Manga" - Ow, you prefer reading over watching anime? Not a problem.
★ "Games" - O ho ho, no game - no life? Same here, my friend, same here.
★ "Western Anime" - And well ...there will be some western titles. I know most of you hate "RWBY", BUT I LIKE IT, so it will stay. Hmph.

I'm always glad to read any suggestions, please contact me on e-mail, it is somewhere at the page.

P.S All art, images and titles belong to their authors. If you want your property to be deleted from the game, contact me via e-mail.

One look at the app's screenshots will tell you that the description isn't honest, and that seeps into gameplay. About half of the questions are just completely wrong in weird attempts to be misleading, and a lot of the questions are completely subjective (what is people's first anime, what has bad plot, etc). Obviously, every series is different, so just stick to the facts that make them different. The soundtrack is actually nice for a game like this, as it doesn't get tiring.

Half of the prompts are over 10 words. The UI covers up the longer prompts so they are impossible to read. Some of the prompts are nonsensical, like "this is a great anime that you should watch". Sometimes the only clue is that one of the characters' names is used, which feels cheap. It seems to randomly switch between the Japanese and English titles of shows, which can get confusing. And it focuses mostly on series from the past few years. Fun way to kill 5 minutes but not great

Simple and rather fun. It's an amusing quiz game that's good to whittle away some time or have fun with friends to see who's watched the most anime. The UI is pretty well laid out. Only suggestion I would have is to increase the speed of the text appearing, and adjust the GUI elements so that they don't overlap the text

I really like it, its pretty fun and challenging sometimes :) One thing I would kinda "complain" about is to make a smoothest transition when the music replays, you can kinda notice that when you get used to it. But well that's not something you should worry about too much, I really liked it :))

Some of it is fun. The ads aren't *too* bad. But some of the descriptions are pretty wack. Like, "Most anime vetran's first anime" isn't really a description you can guess a show from. There are also a few who's descriptions have little to nothing to do with the show. Edit: after spending more time with it, I decided to lower from 3* to 2*. There aren't a lot of features, and there is no feedback system. So many of the descriptions are off-base that the game. Many, many wack descriptions.

It's a really good app to kill some time when I'm bored and I like the humor. The only thing that's keeping me from giving it a 5 star is the resolution I believe. I'm saying I believe because I don't know if I'm entirely right but I know that it's a screen problem. Whenever I'm on the app, it seems kind of expanded, or zoomed in. I know that other apps put little black bars at the top and bottom of the screen in order to allow the user to view the whole app on their screen but this one doesn't.

The quiz never stops, that takes out a bit of the replayability and fun. If you'd lose the game after a number of fails and you'd be able to get a high score, that would really add a lot of replayability (and get 5 stars from me) Also a lot of the sentence are waaaay more than 10 words

Really pleasant game. Some of the hints are very straightforward but others are surprisingly clever. The music is very chill and relaxing, and the sound effects are perfect. The ui elements overlap sometimes, but otherwise I have no complaints. Will definitely play this game more.

Had lots of fun with this game together with my friends. - Streak, score and lifelines dont seem to reset between games. A highest streak feature would help. - Transition between questions is too slow - I looped through every question, after which the game isn't replayable anymore. - Got easy when I could identify which anime I've answered before since each anime only has one phrase. Same anime could use multiple sentences. - Almost got brainwashed to download arknights

Inconsistent. This game is a good but doesn't stick true to itself. Some questions have more than 10 words and don't capture the essence of each anime. Instead, it chooses side character's dialogue or a minor detail that most won't remember. I doubt there's anybody even fact checking. The one question that made me gave up this game was [Almost everybody's first anime]. For most people, I would say its Inuyasha. But the "correct" answer was Inuyashiki... It was fun while it lasted. 95gr/36tw

I Love to play this when I'm bored, it has a really cute user interface and challenging questions. I do have a problem were the text from "Anime" on the title page over laps with the rest of the game title, but other than that I haven't experienced any bugs.

HAHAHA YES, Hey there dev, I know that the menu screen does not show the full gif. Props to you for that man. The only thing that kinda makes me sad is the time that takes to switch to the next question. I wish that you could tap to skip the animation for that. All in all, good job on the menu.

The UI is simple and kinda retro (which I love) and the gameplay is fun and simple too. The question is a bit challenging as the quiz is not created by the developer but by the player via sending request so every question is different and not boring. I highly recommend this game for those who love anime (basically otaku)

I feel like there a lot of bugs (overlapped text, rendering the question close to unreadable) and some spelling mistakes (stiens gate 0). Overall though, I'm having fun with 88/100 in my first trivia questions. Thank you

Jac. P. Apr 13, 2020

Great game but still a lot of bugs. Multiple spelling errors and I've ran into a few wrong answers. Plus there's only about 100 questions. Besides that, the graphics are pleasing and it's pretty entertaining. It's a good game but could definitely be better.

This game has a level of charm to it that I honestly wasn't expecting. The core concept is such a basic idea but the framing of each question, the art style and the little bits of humor sprinkled in around the game really make it worth it. I also know where that first image is from and uhhjjjj

Cha. R. Sep 22, 2020

A few of these answers are based on entirely subjective descriptions. I got a question that was like "Legendary, the best 8 episodes in anime history" or whatever, carrying on. I got the answer right, but the only way to do so would be to take a blind guess! Whoever developed this game needs to learn to write actual descriptions for those who are suppised to discern what they are.

Joh. S. Apr 7, 2019

While I love the idea of the game and the design is nice the questions are not always about the anime (one only slightly hinted to a side character in the anime and not the anime itself) and while it's not that big of a problem they are almost never 10 words. That's probably because it is originally from a different language though.

Som. N. Feb 14, 2020

It was pretty good. It's good that you really need to know and watch the animes to understand what the questions are asking. But some of them are not accurate if you ask me. I think there should also be a back button so that you can pause and go back to the home page instead of using your phone's button. Over thank you creators for your hard work you did great, good job.

Set. Apr 19, 2020

I'd prefer if descriptions were more ambiguous so that only those that have watched it would get the reference. Other than that, it feels like a dreary game that just goes on forever. Perhaps a an overall leaderboard/competition would be good

For what the game is, it is a very cryptic anime title trivia, with a title screen reference that all weebs can appreciate. Its not overly flashy, not water down with anything complex and the post-answer stats are fun, too. If you like the app page preview, youll like the app. If the app page doesnt interest you, id still say give it a try IF you like anime and trivia. It has a fun way of presenting its questions.

Dan. D. L. Mar 14, 2020

It's fun to know few suggestions but the game tries too hard to make it "difficult" to guess that it removes the actual essence of the anime. Some questions too are very far off from the original plot like the Konosuba question saying "he was employed in the real world and not in the RPG." (For the record he was never employed at all, he was a NEET). Lastly, some of these are not ANIME AT ALL, Gravity Falls? Seriously?
