Animus - Stand Alone

i really enjoy the game, but it has glaring flaws. every other attack knocks you down. you spend a lot of time recovering from a fall. it's very annoying; to the point that it is no longer fun at times. camera gets stuck in tight corners; making it hard to even see the enemy, let alone react to it. you can also get stuck in a corner where there is simply no escape. ambush from behind, buggy camera, and knockdown against a wall can get you permanently stuck between enemies and a wall.

Basically Dark Souls minus the open world aspect. Would definitely recommend. Would like to point out a few minor gripes, however: Boss finishers deal no damage. If you are facing two or more bosses at once, their health bars can sometimes synchronize with a random one until that one dies, then hitting the other boss will show his health. Purely a visual bug. Drop rates are painfully low. Lastly, the game doesn't explain certain stats very well, if at all. Fantastic game, otherwise.

WOW. I was hoping for something somewhat beatable, but this is near impossible. It's way to easy at first, but once you get to level 5, it gets way to hard for someone who's average at videogames(Gannon is easy for me in BOTW). The camera controls are TERRIBLE with no settings to change the sensitivity, and that's probably part of the problem. The good part is that the graphics are close to xbox 360 graphics, which isn't great, but it's ok.

great little game, I'd love the option to be able to arrange the UI to where id like (Primary the in game action buttons). Resizing and repositioning of the layout that is, otherwise it's quite informative and easy to understand. Gameplay is what this little gem is all about though, which is does amazingly! Overall a really great game, I'd love a bit of a story and maybe one big world, hopefully in the future :)

Game is ok. The controls are a crime against nature. This is a dark souls rip off for sure but without the precision. One attack hits only to have the next one miss or not register. Dodging is clumsy and you often get hit anyway. Blocking is pointless as you can get staggered very easily. Oh well. Still the closest thing to DS on mobile. Prepare to grind.

This games not easy, but who wants that? Only made it to lvl 16 so far but it's a lot of fun if you don't mind grinding for gear. Definitely one of the few games that I'm interested in on mobile. I'd love to see this game branch out and maybe involve some hidden secrets or maybe even if the dev makes a new game but less linear and more open, I'd definitely spend money on it. Overall, great game!

It plays alot like monster hunter and dark souls. The gameplay is awesome, and stays consistent. I've spent a few bucks on it, but u rlly don't need to. It can get frustrating at times but just grind missions for better weapons. Also, I have no problems with drops, attacks, etc. I think ppl just such at games and don't know how to play, bc it's honestly fine.

This game is sort of dark souls just more like mission mode. The graphics are good, the voice acting and the art on the story are also really good and i find the game challenging. I would rate it 5 stars if not for the lack of gamepad support since i feel like i cannot move as i should with just the touch mode, is very enjoyable still.

I F***** LOVE THIS GAME I didn't know what to expect but this game is astonishing considering that Im playing on a low end device. Just wow. I rate four stars because I dislike the controls, the buttons on the bottom right are a little congested that when Im fighting I accidentally press the wrong one especially the block and dodge buttons. I wish to have control customization in the next update. Thank You.

I love and enjoy the mechanical and tactical aspects within this game. One of the most elegant and addicting games I've ever had the chance of playing on a mobile device. Grinding and leveling up never seem like a chore due to the game's strategic element. In fact, victory brings a sense of accomplishment. What keeps this game from being perfect are the short, five-minute levels. Other than that, this game is easily a 5/5. Also, the sound is PHENOMENAL.

Don't feel like this was worth my money. The micro transaction are a real burden on keeping you from experiencing the game how you want to. I feel like buying to game would help alleviate the need for a lot of monetization but having to buy a game to be sold the same mechanics you get in free to play titles is a bit of a rip off. I want my money back.

Another BS pay wall game, pass on this frustrating garbage. Drop rates are abysmal, delayed inputs, controls are terrible, graphics are late 2000s at best, and pay to win model after day 2, this application is a waste of time.

Good control, good graphic, weapon have weight. But the biggest problem is grind. There's rank of the same gear and mission can drop the lower rank instead like 2 rank lower. It makes the mission having many chance of drops that you don't actually need. Making your inventory full if useless junk. Then the next story mission just say you need stronger gear if you lose.

It's not dark souls but that's OK. What it offers is still a fun, bite sized experience with a decent variety of weapons. The controls are as good as they can be on a touch screen and I never find myself hitting the wrong buttons. With a little more polish, this game could be a staple in the mobile gaming market.

Story basically nonexistent, don' t know anything about or care for the main character, extremely short levels - ofen one "room" with one boss battle, controls are decent, graphics fine, the rest is ok. Game plays rather fine, but there is a brutal lack of importance, stakes, and content.

If you can repair the bugs where you die from one hit after a revive or where you can't deal dmg to the boss after revive would be great. It rarely happens tho. And bring back the tarnished sword and the armor sets for day 4 as a side quest or something. And even put the particles from IRE S+ items for SA S+ items. Other than this the game is perfect.

I recently bought this game but it was remove on my play games, then I checked the playstore then it was not there anymore, they must have removed it before now it is back again. What changed? this game coud have been better than IRE: blood memory on a third person perspective, then make it available online since it was an offline game. Would love to play this game again. Almost feel like your playing on PC but the movement controls are a little unresponsive when you pair it with console.

Not compatible with pixel XL. One stage was fine then the game's sound freaked out with all kinds of static and interference. After that sound was lost permanently no matter how many times I force stop. It saved it with no sound now its locked in. Makes you realize that sound cues are important for knowing when to dodge. Too bad it looked good. Uninstall time.

i love this, so unique on mobile platform, graphics are good, frame rate is smooth, only con out of all the pros is the dodge mechanism and including the block as well,if i press block on time i expect my character to react accordingly if i dodge same thing,timing of blocks and counters could definitely use some tweaking other than that its a great application

Used to really enjoy this game but now it's telling me I have an illegal copy and I need to pay to remove ads but I already have paid when I first purchased it. Also now ads pop up all over my phone when the game's not even open, it's turned into some kind of malware..!!

The game is Good but unfortunately the camera angels are very bad, but once you start playing it will get used to it. But as the game progress it becomes very difficult to kill the stage Boss and I am not able to upgrade my weapons from Grade D , and there is forge of weapons only upto level 5 Max, i am really not able to figure it out on how I can upgrade my weapons But anyways if you are looking for Good graphics , gameplay and a true offline RPG game this is one it won't disappoint for sure.

I was hoping for much more from this game. I like the story and dark graphical style of characters, but that may be it. The hit detection is the worst I've experienced in many a long decade. It has a lot of potential.

I find this game quite good and entertaining. It reminds me a lot of infinity blade with a bit of dark souls. I would rate it higher if it had controller support which would be really useful to display real skills in this game

I love the gameplay and the storyline ! Grew up in the 80s with video arcades and quarters !! Lol ...this is a refeshing look back at those games but this one is bad @s$.!! Controls are great and the combos are killer !! Gets it in ...

Great graphics, a lot of potential but un increadibly repetitive, boring game. Bad controls an not much to grip on... I was expecting an rpg, an engaging one but for the price I paid, I really regret the purchase ...

A really good experience overall but hate the micro transactions. I've already paid for the game, let me enjoy it without any further payments to be made.

This game is very difficult! its complexity is manifested in imbalance. I had enough for the penultimate boss, there were 3 of them there at once. These bosses were so difficult that even I, the man who went through dark souls 2, could not kill them. thanks.

This is a game that could definitely rival FromSoftware themselves. Evidently a lot of inspiration was clearly taken from FS to make this little gem, but if you like games like Bloodborne, Demon Souls and Dark Souls, this is a game for you. Granted at times the game is frustrating but its meant to be and all it takes is dedication and practice to git gud! Overall Animus is well worth the pennies and should keep you entertained everywhere ans anywhere. Big thanks to the Devs for this! 🤓

Get ready to grind. Super short levels with a few mobs before getting to boss. Bosses usually hit you whether you block or dodge so gotta grind up those levels to be tough enough. Most boss strategies are hit and run. There are enough free games like this one so don't spend the money.

No gamepad support which is a bummer and lastly, drop rates are low. Suggestion: add survival mode. We're hoping for a new update.
