Its a really nice app to learn spanish in, but the thing is its hard to memorize so i have to keep on going back on it until im very faniliar with it. secondly, if i dont know the word, i tap on the button at the bottom of the word, but it doesnt use a spanish accent, it uses an english accent! so how am i supposed to know the pronunciation, stress, and al that, you have to fix it
Wish it was a little more user friendly is can be a little difficult to navigate and use
Good app so far to practice another language. However, I am disappointed that the verbal aspect appears to be an AI reader. The foreign words are mispronounced. None of the Spanish words have the accent nor the emphasis on the right letters. It would be great if you had a Spanish speaker read the words.
Straight forward design. Useful. No frills, no thrills. Could become monotonous. The audio should be spoken in the voice of a native speaker to aid in correct pronunciation. The way it stands now was of no benefit to me personally, so I leave the voice off.
not bad, free and you get what you pay for. simple, and the flashcard feature is probably the most useful for learning (I'm working on Japanese). the preset words are generally useless in my opinion.
I can see it being amazing once you have kanji down as well as hirigana (might not need to know much katakana yet either), my only wish is it had an option to focus on hirigana words so you can practice reading out and memorizing the sounds, but I realise that probably really limits what you can practice. It's intended to be a vocabulary tool at the end of the day, so for what it is its phenomenal 😁
Nice layout, though does feel a liiiitle cheap. Topics need better headings. Great cor quick and effective flashcards. Colour scheme is nice. Good for Chinese Characters. Would be better if we could import word lists like in Skritter. Overall very good.
I just started. Simple to use. For Spanish the verbs do not have "To" written in front of them which is a problem for new learners. As an example the English side of the card Ship is Enviar. If a new learner sees that they may think it means a ship like a boat but it really means To Ship, as in to ship a package. The topics don't seem to be super coherent, maybe they will make more sense as I advance.
I'm surprised they have default words but no definitions. Also the interface looks outdated. Ive heard good things about Anki, but i dont see the use outside of Flashcards. Also hard, if not impossible to edit ore existing sets? Very unimpressed to be honest.
Nice app to improve words learning and memorisation. I would suggest to enrich the app with an account sync option. So this way, after reinstalling the app, we can keep with what was been learned and keep testing.
Ive heard great things but I'm left very disappointed. When you quiz it shows you the English word before the other language, so its not really a test. I also wish it had gendered articles for the vocabulary.
So far so good. It's only cards so not as helping as Memrise, but there's so many languages it makes up for the differences. it's pretty much the only learning app I've found for Finnish.
I love that! Every day, i play it and it helps me to learn more. But, would be better if the creator put more things. Edit: It's bad now. I can't delete the cards i made and when i put new cards, the app delete the old cards.
I just started trying it, I don't see the repetition feauture that people mentioned Anki was great for. That is the reason why I downloaded anki, but there are so many app versions not sure which one to use. The flashcards are good though.
A bit unsure about what to do at first glance but at least it has Bulgarian language, that's something. Also it would be nice if it would include some feature to evaluate if the user has learnt the words. Lastly, forcing the user to write a review in order to use some features seems a bit extreme to me. BTW, I just installed it. If after I use it my impression of the app changes, so I will update the review. Oh, and the "Begginer" words should be in page 1, shouldn't it? Thanks for this app :)
I'm relatively new to using the app but it has been handy so far for recognising phrases and kanji. Sometime though I recognise it because of the cards, but I have no idea how to say it. Perhaps it is a feature I just haven't found yet but pronunciation help would be nice. Otherwise pretty good
Just starting to learn Japanese, tried to start with beginner stuff but I am presented with a message which (i assume) translates to "review this or you're not allowed to learn" as the whole message is written in Japanese and if i hit no it bounces me back to the main menu but if i hit yes it takes me here to leave a review. Not a great start with Anki.
Hello everyone. Your application is so good but I saw a bit bug in it. In fact it usually happens because I am developer and I know better than someone. In the WORD tab, first ComboBox when I change use to language to Persian the application translate to Arabic for me. When the change language use to Arabic translate to Persian.
It is wonderful app with user friendly.it helps me alot. Thank you.
so far it's good. I have found vocabulary that I hadn't encountered before. it's basically just flashcards but I like that they test you. I wish they could test out of order though
When I first opened it, it was hard to use. I didn't really know what to do and was really confused after a minute because a notification was on the screen that was written in japanese (my skill level is low so I didn't really know what to do). It would be nice if you could have a tutorial in English when you first open the app. That way you know what to do and don't get confused. :)
This app doesn't have much to offer in the way of customizing features, so I was not able to use it to support my language studies in the way I had hoped. A pen and a stack of index cards easily beat this app for usefulness.
I'm new to the Korean language and the app. I saw there was a beginner's function and a pop up came up. They've made it mandatory that I write a review or it bounces me back to the main menu. Meh, not a great first impression. 2 stars.
like the app, but it would be very good if they make a redesign that is striking and interactive, such as writing the word since that also helps the memorization process
The app looks great, has a very intuitive interface, and does not need one to pay. All definitions so far are correct. What else could one ask for?
It is useful, but the advertisements are annoying. Another downside is that I chose Arabic as the language I'm learning and the flashcards ended up being in Persian (Farsi) or Urdu. I had to end up making my own flash cards.
This should be a good way to practice vocabulary. I appreciate that it doesn't seem to distinguish (for Japanese) N5-N1, but I'm not sure how to search for specific words. A tutorial, no matter how brief, would be nice.
Wth is that. This app should be removed asap!!! I really hope there's no one using this for studying Korean. Cuz the pronunciation is just wrong. Well I delete this immediately and hopefully they can work on making this app better.
The least a language teaching app should have is having the pronunciation of the words that is shown on the card. If we're gonna have to translate it ourselves we might as well just use a dictionary (I'm studying Japanese btw)
Good app for my japanese Kanji study. But I was able to create only 1 list of flashcards. Would like to create several list for differents topics.
