This app is the best of its type on the app store. The only reason for four instead of five stars is the lack of any cloud sync and a personal thing where I would like to see a calendar option where I have set up a report for future transactions and balances. Also a pity that it no longer seems to be supported by the developer any more. Very long time now since last update.
Great app, but the lack of automatic cloud backup amd multi device cloud sync prevents a strong rating. You can perform some manual workarounds such as emailing the last backup stored on one device to another device and then load that file to AnMoney, but who has the time or patience to constantly manually sync devices so that the app can be used on the go.
Great app. I use Microsoft Money and this is very similar. Only problem I have found is I can't make any entries for previous months, e.g. when a bank statement for a loan arrives and I need to enter the interest payments for the last 6 months it won't let me. And also recurring payments it won't allow me to add payments to the list any further ahead than the end of next month
Was using the app for a while and initially found it quite good. Then it kicked me out, asking for a password. No way to reset it. Emails to the developers went nowhere. Had no choice but to abandon and uninstall. Very frustrating as I lost hours of work. Frankly, I think apps shouldn't be on here if there is no support, especially budgeting apps that potentially hold quite a bit of sensitive information!
I have looked at many finance apps, and this is one of the best I have ever seen. It has the ability to split transactions, budgeting, forecasting, downloading transactions from your bank or QIF format or CSV format. It also has the ability to set up recurring transactions, and so much more. I have used Quicken for many years, but don't really like the mobile version of Quicken that much. This program helps you to analyze your finances wherever you are. Thanks Henry.
Was looking for something to replace ms money on the laptop. It will take a week or so to get used to the different terminology and mechanics - especially after using ms money for 10+ years - but having done so I find anMoney quicker and easier and feel more in touch with my finances. Perfect financial app for tablet users.
I have been using this for two or three years now and it is excellent. Really good value for money and powerful enough for complex home accounting. Works very well on tablets up to 8 inches, such as the LG G3 tablet, though visually less appealing on larger tablets. Updated regularly and there is excellent support from developer of required. Still great after all these years.
I'm using the app since 2012 and it never let me down, best Personal Finance application in Google Play with no competition at all and there are many features are not considered in similar apps. Cons - Unfortunately the developer stopped it's support and updates since 2014 but it still working properly until now
This is one of the best personal finance app i have used. I have been using many available apps in this segment for the last two-three years and finally zeroed in on Financisto, Money manager EX and anMoney. All three apps mentioned are good enough for my requirements though the generation of reports the ability to export them to PDF is what gives this one an edge over the other.. The only drawback for me was the non-availability of desktop app for this which is provided by Money Manager EX. I was on a dil
Hard to find a better money application for carrying around with you. Know where all your money goes, and keep tabs effortlessly according to your available time. The best feature is the ease of importing and exporting your invaluable past, present and future data, which will save you countless hours and avoid heartaches when moving from and to another application.
I have full control of my personal finances without having to connect directly into the actual accounts, a lot easier to manage if you are organized, feel much more secure by not linking any accounts, it does need some interface color / design upgrades, overall the best app I have on my phone
I was using JabpLite on BlackBerry and Android after I moved from Palm. I had a lot of old transitions and needed a stable and capable finance app. JabpLite was crashing constantly and becoming quite a burden as it wasn't designed for touch interfaces. I had some reservations with this program but finally ended buying it and don't regret it. It could use better reports and some regional customisation. It also needs some updates for new OS.
Update: Due to the lack of support and new updates from the developer, I am no longer think it deserve to be a five stars app. I have contacted the developer so many times for technical issues but have not got any response.
Anmoney has made it so simple for us to enter expenses, create and view budgets, it's helping us learn new things about our spending patterns, curtail unnecessary expenses and divert funds where they're needed most. One feature request: I spend in the currencies other than my home currency, on my credit card. It would be nice to be able to enter the expense in that currency and let Anmoney convert it based on data off the Internet and the date of the transaction.
The app is so comprehensive that things like lack of online sync and web app does not seem like a deal breaker. If those come in, the 6th star shall be added. Would like the app to budget according to credit card payment due dates and have notifications for low balance.
This is a great application, one of the best financial apps available. However, I've been using this app for nearly a year now and am becoming increasingly concerned about the fact this app has not been updated in over two years. I would love to change my rating to five stars, but if this app is no longer being actively developed I cannot recommend it and will be looking into other financial managers.
After trying the free version I bought it. It is nearly exactly what I want (similar to MS Money) but I can't seem to get the repeat transaction to work automatically... filled in the last page to 'a month before it is due' but nothing happened... not a big issue as I wanted a longer forecast of balance transactions. Entered all transactions manually... it has the last time the transaction was entered clearly visible which is a fantastic feature due to wanting a longer forecast. NICE WORK... GREAT APP... I
Contains all necessary ingredients to make it an excellent personal finance app. Works well though recently I have been getting an unusual problem - accounts list loses its alphabetical order on and off though it corrects itself on touching or scrolling!! Seems to have developed after I C S 4.0.4 upgrade recently. This does not, however, detract the app from its excellence. Now anMoney is on my LG G2. Works very well.Has all necessary ingredients. Extraordinary and excellent developer support! Sync? 9 Sep 2017: Still an excellent finance app. But needs updates..
I bought this a while ago because it's similar to ms money but didn't know how to manage my budget yet. So I started using a simple envelope system that worked very well until I outgrew it. Now that I know what I'm doing, AnMoney is the best! I can balance my accounts and keep within budget, whether I use my checking account or credit card. I can export a report with all my work related expenses already added up to make doing my taxes simple. I love the widgets for adding transactions quickly! Thank you!
A long time user of Spensa pro, I only looked for an alternative due to Spensa not receiving any update in a long while and it seemingly being abandoned by the developer. I tried pretty much everything in the Play store, nothing came close apart from anMoney pro. Fairly intuitive from the go, the only hurdle getting the csv export from Spensa into the qif format needed by anMoney [use an Excel addin from internet to convert, do it 1 account at a time]. Once the data is in, anMoney is simply the best.
Great product! Changed my review to 5 stars! The more I used it the more I like it. If your ever considering to buy it because of the price let me tell you it is worth every penny and more!! Of cause there is always improvements that can be made. But by far the BEST personal financial management software on Android!
I like having a full featured financial app available whenever I spend money. The feature I've been waiting for, forecast balance based on scheduled transactions, makes the money I spent on this app worth it. However, I've found that a transaction with multiple transfers often doesn't forecast the next occurrence in all the account r
Well written and flows right along with Quicken. Currently running on a Note 5. Support is nothing short of outstanding. Also sports Samsung's multi window. I use anMoney as the first line in balancing several accounts and find especially useful the quick selection of check status. I find it much easier and quicker than Quicken. Cloud or device sync would be a plus.
