This app was good for about two years until a recent update. I have no issues viewing cameras on the network. Remote view only works on WiFi, any WiFi outside of the home network. It just does not work on data cellular service anymore. I am quite happy with the DVR overall. just need to get the remote view working properly.
Very complicated interface. Too much technical knowledge required for an average person to utilize this app. Make it much simpler. Take out all the unnecessary complicated features and make two apps. One "Pro" app with advanced features and one "Basic" app for the rest of us. It took me hours just to figure out how to log on, add cameras and view remotely. Please simplify and I'll give you 5 stars. Thanks
This app is garbage most of the time. It will work great if you're connected to the same network as your DVR, but if you are on mobile data or connected to a different network it won't show the live feed most of the time. The point of having the app is to be able to see your camera feed when you're away from home. Fix this issue and the app would be pretty good.
I had it for 2 years working very good , some problems some times and it works in an hour or 2 hours , this time it is not working for 2 days !!!! very unhappy , please fix it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU , update: they got back to me with now suggestion, Ankee Vision it works very good with the same log in. Thank you for your help.
Good app and works well. It is stable, but sometimes logs the app just logs out. and then you have to log back in. i would love to see more customizeable view grids. as in giving some main cameras more space when viewing 9cameras at the same time. Feks giving a wideangle camera more space rather than sqeezing it in one square
brilliant when connected to wifi that is linked to the DVR but when on mobile data or a different wifi unable to view live stream or remote playback. really frustrating as another member of the household has the same app on iPhone and it works perfectly. why is androids version so pants?
disappointed that they are discontinuing this app as I prefer it over the Annke Vision one. When I changed internet providers I did have to set up port forward on my new router to view away from my wifi network.
You have updated the app and I can no longer watch live view. It has frozen me out of my account. Very poor Update 13/09/18 Followed the instructions on the response and now working perfectly again. Ankle vision so runs a little faster too. Thanks
Second Annke app I tried to connect to camera. It can't scan QR code, even though the QR code sticker is clean. Annke has 20 camera apps and I'm confused which one to use. I'm just going to return this camera since I'm too stupid to set it up.
not overly complicated. the problem is that annke has several camera solutions that require independent apps, not all will work with one software, this is lazy on they're part
Worked fine and was really good but since a recent update i havent been able to access my cameras using my account. I keep getting a 'Network Exception' Error. really annoying
Doesn't work, I only bought the hardware because I thought I could use the app .......... The app doesn't work! I'm going to ditch the Annke hardware and look for something else!
Was working fine but seems to have had an update and I can no longer access my Annke system remotely. QR code connecting just errors and fails.
Hurry up with an update that works. Was a fantastic app until the recent updates, I can no longer view my cameras on the 'live view' more like 'no view' anymore...
Continuously get error messages and Annke gives the same standard response that does not help at all. Their answer never changes.
The system itself is amazing, but if you're not connected to wifi , you can't see anything . Its annoying.
worked perfectly for 8 month. Then someone thought it would be a good idea to fix something that wasn't broken! well done for fu#*ing up you own app. ππππ
It constantly logs you out. And a lot of time, for no reason, it will not allow you to log in. Very confusing app. Thumb Down π
I can not see what is going on from phone. I keep choosing the 4 cameras, but all it does is buffer them and give me a blank screen.
Last update doesn't even list my cameras. I downloaded the Vision app as was recommended. A walk through call would be great
this app is not working. for 2days trying to view cameras remotely no access, this app is garbage and should be taken down total waste of time.
Trash. Doesn't work. Never worked well. Works worse since update. These people seem to not knit what they are doing. Spend your money elsewhere yall.
since update cannot login to cloud, on local network 4 camera view brightness and contrast appalling on 3 of the cameras, ok if 1 camera view (following suggestion now use Annke Vision - much better app)
i can't even open the app anymore without crashing. it's been almost a year since i've been able to open the app.
The app worked fantastic until the evil update came now it shuts down and crashes I can't get a view!! will the developers please get a new update and fix the damn thing
No longer works after last update on 4/8/19. Cannot connect to the cloud to view cameras.
It worked up until recently. It looks like there is a bug in this update. I was unable to see my cameras. I have it setup with a DynDns loopback to my house's IP, ports opened, non-cloud. I tested adding the NVR to my app through a local IP, and it worked. External, nope. For some reason it wants to add channel Zero which is disabled in the Config settings on my NVR system. It can't find my cameras. Granted, it found them last week. No problem, I thought. I'd use the other Annke Vision app. Same issue, but with no channel zero. It just doesn't find my cameras. Ok, cached data on my mobile. I manually deleted all the cached data associated with these apps, rebooted, & re-setup everything. Still same issues. Camera's unavailable externally. This sounds like a coding issue with the data that surrounds the port 8000 information and how it recognizes the cameras. I even attempted to enable channel zero just to see if it would actually work. It didn't. Annke's webgui is amazing, even though it only works in IE browser. I noticed that the app was updated today... The issue is fixed. Congrats Annke team! I didn't send logs or anything. That means you likely have some smart programmers!
