Annotate - Image Annotation Tool

The smart highlighting (where it detects text) is not available in the free version and is cumbersome in the paid version. Also, in the paid version, you can only highlight the entire line of text, not specific words. The free version lets you freehand highlight but it's impossible to make it straight.

This app is better and exactly does as it's named. App UI/UX is neat and clean. It has most of the features require to annotate anything. But it lacks 2 of most important features 1. Picture zoom is not available and hence its difficult to annotate large size pictures 2. Integration with camera to capture and annotate the picture I noticed after I bought this app that it's reducing quality of image when saving. Sometime texts are blur and hard to read; can easily be observed with large images

Doesn't give a trial for smart highlighter. And doesn't even give option to highlight lines by marking point a to b. Manually highlighting text is impossible without pen or stylus or using some option to making highlighting absolutely straight and choosing width for the same. Give trial for pro features and then ask to buy.

Your app is very good. However, why not add an ability to save results in some vector format in order to easily modify them later? (SVG with some extra info looks the best for it)

Great app! the workflow is very intuitive and it basically has everything needed. I miss the ability to save in a custom directory and to change objects opacity. But they're not really essential. Really recommend it!!!

A great start to a much needed image annotation app for the android. I so hope the developer continues to build this app and enhance the current annotation tools with customizable options such as font choices, as well as expand on the range of tools of tools it offers. Far from "best" . It is nice but quite easy in use and no settings. Cannot place a dot / No text size ( you can ajust the size by increasing or decreasing the rectangle, but it's hard to get the same size all the time) / Only one thickness for lines /

The most practical & fastest annotate apps compared to many others (including Markup app that has much more functionality, but not practical; needs too many clicks to get things done). Its auto-aligned highlighter function is very helpful & innovative.

I want too see this be able to move finished pictures into different folders within the gallery and not parked forever in a folder you create. Most people store photos on their sd card. I like the app alot but not being able to move them is a real deal breaker.

I would appreciate the ability to set default colors for text background and each of the various shapes. I markup alot of photos and it would save considerable time to not have to reselect my preferred color each time.

I have purchased the app, but i find it difficult to use because the entire frame of the nearby annotation gets selected If you write near it. This is a hindrance. Instead any previous annotation should be selected only if we directly touch the line, not the entire area.

I just purchased this app coz I thought zoom would allow me to zoom in the image and Mark tiny annotations to quickly share ideas on a layout. Don't mind supporting the dev for existing available features but if devs ever read this can they add 3 quick features like in snagit 1. Pinch to zoom in and zoom out to annotate at a fiber detail. 2. Auto-rotate and do this work in landscape. 3. Change shapes like circles, diamonds, lines etc filled or hollow inside. Change width (thick, thin, px size)

i can only give it a 1 star. as a annotate app. it dont do its function good. 1. no camera support 2. pen function. It's extremly hard to draw anything when it is mixed with "select" function. it always select somthing and moves it. 3. cant zoom in pictures

I am a home inspector and have been using this app everyday for the last two weeks. I have another annotation app that works with my inspection app but this one is so much better. Even though I have to manually import the photo into my inspection software it is still a better app.

The app work great, however it does not have image zoom feature. Even after purchase, still does not have this basic feature. Hope developer add this basic Zoom/magnifier feature. Thanks.

This is probably the best annotate app on Android. This app has way more features than most of the annotate apps here, where most of the other ones are just drawing apps disguised as annotate apps. While it doesn't have as much functionality as the Annotate (the app is actually called Annotate, not the built in iOS stuff) app on iOS, this is pretty damn close! You gotta pay to unlock all the good stuff, but for less than the price a caramel macchiato, you get an actual annotate app and not some drawing app. Def worth a look considering how crappy most of the apps on Android are compared to iOS.

Easy and painless!! App allows you to quickly put diagrams and notes to your photos, then gives you the option to download it to the app's folder.

Still Crippleware (minus 1 star), but ot now works as intended. Has a nicer way to move and resize annotations than the builtin edit feature of Android 11. Thanks for the update!

Really good, but I would like two things: a redact tool (other than blurring or pixelation) and a sliding scale to adjust the degree of blur and pixelation.

Was looking for an app that could use several functions (arrows and text) to annotate images. This app helped a lot with annotating images, and I am so thankful for it. Great app!

It works again to save changes. The developer said he had issues accessing his Google account and took a hit for his rating. I now give it 5 stars for this is a great app. Thanks to the developer and I am glad you got access to your account again. Keep up the good work!

How do you rotate text? Where are the speech bubbles. Tune foreground /background? Missing a lot of basic functions it seems. Undo/Redo? Fonts, my god how do you change fonts.

perfect tool to do a quick note/annotation! love the simple interface and quick color selection, makes me look like a pro in documenting stuff

App looks promising. The editing tools are what I need but its missing native Android image edit support. It should support yhr bative camera and Photos app image editing integration.

Everytime I buy the pro version it works for a bit then weeks later forces me to buy it again.. otherwise a great app.but that's a major problem

All Good except the inability to change the color of arrows, text, and boxes. And, the background fill color of the text box cannot be transparent.

Great annotation capability. Major functionality is there with some room for minor improvements, e.g., changing line weight/color on shapes.

Got the paid version and save and share features don't work anymore. Also realized it was not updated in over an year.

Well designed. Intuitive to use. Definitive replacement to Skitch, with superior functionality.
