Another World

I am so happy to have such a beautiful classic on my phone. The visuals have been improved. This is a tough game. You are given few controls, so the options of what you can do limit your planning (yes even though this is a shooter the core is strategy). The simple player is really nice and the graphics are good. Another World is a classy classic. The ambience is very gentle and playing it will make you feel better.

Beautiful retro game with scifi story, ported from original old game onto mobile. Thrilled to try it, but it waa about 2 years ago I tried, forget the details of the experience. But controls were too awkward and couldnt react with them quickly enough, and it was too hard to play. Also may be that original old game not easy. I had meant to try this again with a mogi controller but never got around to it. Disappointed because the story and visuals were very good, also famed, and piqued my interest even after I got frustrated. Oh well. You can find the original pc game on GOG set up to run on modern pc systems. I still intend to retry it there.

This game is the epitome of classic. If retro is your bag, it doesn't get much better than this. The controls take some time to master, because they are different from what you're used to. That has been the case since the game first appeared on Amiga. The learning curve is a feature. As a pixel-art fan, I love the lo-res option, although the newer graphics are way more playable. I have always, and will always love Another World to pieces.

Almost great, but (at least on a touch screen) the challenge relies on terrible controls to be challenging. Too irritating to try something over and over, figure out the way to do it, and then fail (repeatedly) because the game doesn't respond to the swipe. Gotta uninstall. Oh--also crashes a lot.

Same problem as other people says no connection also I find it funny how developer has time to thank people for positive reviews but no one has been given a response or solution to connecting issues especially when we have PAID for an app that doesn't work why don't you refund everyone it doesn't work you say it has been thought though for Android OBVIOUSLY NOT. And still no response from developer as to why the game won't load and no refund DON'T DOWNLOAD IT DOESN'T WORK

Game kind of work. But controls has big issue. Fire button doesn't work. Touch yes but sluggish. External pad is suggested.

Wonder to play such an old gem. I had trouble with the on screen controls but fought with them all the way since this game is really interesting cinematic and clever. Also added to the joy of this game was playing it with a written guide, those who are unintiated with point and click style puzzles would find it extra challenging on top of the controls.

was very excited when I found this old classic on google play. So I bought it and was a little disappointed. Keeps crashing and freezing. If it didn't do either of these things, 5 stars would go without saying. Just a shame you have to spend money to find these things out. Hopefully gets fixed sometime soon.

Great nostalgic game! I remember this game first coming out on the megadrive back in 1990. At the time the graphics were mind blowing. I love the game play of this game. And to be honest, anyone with negative comments of this game not working well needs to get a better phone. Works perfectly on my S10. Great version. Credit to the developers this one.

Brilliant... except the controls are very hit and miss ! ... So miss jumps ALOT! ... Ive pressed it for definite but nothing...... ... How can you play a game when sometimes the controls work.. sometimes they dont... .. pot luck 🤷‍♂️ .. I would give this 5 star if the controls werent so glitchy... ... ive tried it on 2 completely different phones.. exactly the same .. Such a shame.......

I played the original back in the 90's on my Super NES and its cool to see it now and the connection w particle colliders and cern really adds a legit probability of something like this happening. I remember it being very hard and its still hard i cant get passed the second mission. My buddy who played it with me when i rented it from Blockbuster Video we allways remember the guy saying " monzuma" and its been an inside joke for over 20+ years

Was great (5 stars great) but something has happened recently to ruin it. Freezes and crashes A LOT and fails to respond to the controls. I'm wondering if a recent upgrade of Play Games might be responsible? Anyway, UNINSTALLED as it has become unplayable. Extremely disappointed. Using Samsung Galaxy S5 running 6.0.1.

Even tho I was lucky to get the game started, it is true that extremely unresponsive controls are the games only challenge. Don't bother with it, just watch a YouTube walk through for the games atmosphere and leave it at that.

Superb game. Beautiful old style graphics. Difficulty is challenging and story well written. A bit short in number of challenges but long due to their difficulty level. A must to play to discover what old school games were.

DO NOT BUY! Abandoned since 2019 no longer works at all. There's a download required before you can play and that download no longer works. Perhaps the developer didn't feel like paying the hosting fee anymore. For whatever reason, this is game is completely unplayable and amounts to theft.

This is my favourite game in the 90's. Is is an actual copy of that game for android... I hope to enhance the game by adding more level ... It is one of the best addictive games I had ever played.. the graphics are simple and perfect and the control is smooth... I gave it 5 stars

The original is one of my favorite games, ever. Mostly because you get no information what so ever. This version gives you clues and checkpoints in every corner, which totally ruins how hard the game actually is.

Very unresponsive controls on Samsung Galaxy Edge S7. Not recommended for this device or anything older. To clarify, unresponsive means laggy to move, and difficult for character to stop, shooting burst and charge shots are delayed etc very frustrating. Game crashes often as well.

Normally I don't make reviews about apps or games, but this on is driving me nuts. Unfortunately the game is still not working. Paid for the game and now I'm not able to play it. This is a scam. The initial download of the necessary game files quits with a error message. This is now going on for over a year and the developer doesn't do anything for resolving it. If you're not willing to fix it, remove it from the PlayStore.

'An error occurred during download. Please make sure you are connected to internet or try again later'. Get this error every time I try to run it. Cleared cache and data, re-installed, same every time.

I always loved this game but i find this implementation hard to control. I'll keep practicing. I read reviews that talk about frequent crashes and I'm experiencing that too, even though i have sufficient hardware.

Belter little number. I remember this on the Commodore Amiga, came out earlier than the rubbish megadrive and snes versions and so much better than those awful rip-offs. Loved all the Delphine games. Flashback was a classic too.

Doesn't work on S21 ultra. Bummer. It's one of the only Android ports of a game advertised as optimized for this kishi razor controller that isn't complete garbage. I hope it works again some day. Rating is for the game itself, not the state of the download files, not trying to throw shade, it is what it is.

alright port, some areas lack music and the touch screen controls leave alot to be desired, do yourself a favor and use a bluetooth controller.

on screen controls are never as good as the origenal game pads. very hard to play an already challenging game. still loved this game though.
