Anti Nuisance-Call&SMS Blocker

Some good, some bad. Seems to be blocking texts based on area code and prefix which is why I use it. The main problem is that when I go to send a text, if I type in a name it doesn't pull up the name. It just shows me every contact. It is also using a stored contact list that doesnt reflect a bunch of deletions I did. Makes it not very useful as a default text client!

Not sure so far.i have it set as my default texting,it still allows ones to come through that aren't on my contact list,it doesn't show what they say,but they still come through. Any suggestions would be nice.ill edit this in time,if I figure it out,or it is something that happens

I have a love/hate relationship with this app. It truly does block 100%!! Unfortunately, it blocks everything & everybody, calls & especially unwanted text msgs. I haven't figured out yet how to navigate the Allow list or White List 🤷

Messages are not being blocked. It used to be when blocked messages came that are not in your contacts they were automatcally sent to the log with an envelope and a strike across it. Now all messages are coming through the messenger where one is forced to read it; this app does not work anymore!!

Even when turning off notifications for blocked messages, I can still see them. Also, I can't send messages to contacts that aren't blocked inside the app.

I set it to block all except for contacts, but it blocks my contacts as well. Can't get any calls through. 🤦‍♂️

Have set to block all SMS not in my address book, but lets them through. Also, search contacts on pixel 3a doesn't work. Otherwise, app decent.

I have been getting several spam texts a day, which is the reason I downloaded this app. It's not exactly blocking them- which means that the app wasn't designed to be able to tell the difference between a *wanted* text message vs an *unwanted* text message. Once I add the numbers to the block list then it seems like it's doing the job, although it says that it has blocked 1 spam text message a day..

Can't receive photos sent through its messaging app. The ads are very obtrusive. I would purchase an app that actually works but this one ain't it. UNINSTALLED APP.

App has changed and no longer blocks keywords or text. Complete waste of money. Developers don't bother answering requests for support. Uninstalled for good.

I like the layout and design but app lacks ability to lock messages to prevent accidental deletion. All sms app should have that ability.

Text messages are all unorganized line by line, dividing singles sentences in multiple separate messages. Terrible! Never experienced messenger like this.

Tried to set the default ringtone within the app and it won't stop playing. Uninstalling. Appears to be the "None" option.

Just installed it and set it up and the very next day I got a robo text from a non contact number. The robo text are the only reason I got it and it failed within 24 hours. I'm looking for something else.

Within 5 minutes of setting up the app I had three spam text messages. Frustrating. I can't seem to find an app that does what it says. Waste of $10 and time.

I'm looking for an app that blocks messages. I wasn't one where I can manually enter the info. This one does not and I do not recommend. I am not recommending this

Block all texts except contacts is not working. This is what I am looking for, no other app has it but its not working.

Blocks unwanted texts well, BUT the app is very slow and frequently locks up. The free apps has too many adds making it difficult to try out and determine if it's worth paying for the add free version.

Trade spam for ads. I understand having an add at the bottom or top of the screen. But covering your entire screen blocking your acces to text messages for 10 seconds or however long it is, is unacceptable. And $9.99 to get rid of it? C'mon

Does not block spam message period when you use as default, then you don't get messages at all or can you send them!

Absolutely useless to me. It sends a notification that it blocked a text and then my reminder app takes it from there. If I turn notifications off I don't know when wanted texts come in. Why on earth does it need to tell you it blocked a#? Really defeats the purpose

I appreciate the concept, and it works sometimes. But the "block all except contacts" feature actually blocks some numbers in my contacts. Also, it fails to block a specific land line based number for me. The texts are generally slow to open, which delays ability to respond quickly when needed. If all these issues were worked out, I could give this application a higher rating.

Nearly 5 Star! I must have tried 10 different apps trying to find one that would truly block all calls except those in my contact list. This app does the job, and would be five stars except for the fact that it does ring two or three times before it actually hangs up on the caller who is not in my contacts. Update: Working fine, just fine. No problem whatsoever.

Just installed this app, it is unusable. I can select one sometimes two buttons before it freezes up and won't respond. I have tried several times to send feedback when the "app is not responding" dialog box pops up, but before I can type a message that freezes up as well. On a positive note, I like the colors and the layout. Too bad the app doesn't work.

I downloaded this app to try and stop junk texts, which it did. It doesn't seem to block junk calls though. The few gripes I have are - app will not let you be in a group text, if you try sending a photo, it sends the recipient the photo multiple times (37 times once), app opens to blacklist instead of messenger and the Do Not Disturb periods don't seem to work. There are a lot of annoying ads, but I suppose a free app has to make money somehow.

Has its problems. Sometimes I type a message and it disappears (not sent). I cannot receive pictures. Sometimes it cannot keep a thread together and displays all the texts individually. So really would prefer it to work in the background so I can use a more robust messaging app.

Glitchy, but works sort of, if you keep it running in the background i can't use it as the default tho; it lags and freezes up too often. Also, please don't notify me i have an unread message if it's just an ad; i'm not gonna tap it 😕. Great app otherwise; thank you for the keyword blocker. Seems(?) to work well so far, as long as i use my phone's messenger as the default I'll update when i've had the app longer. Please fix issues.

This app seemed fine on paper. It should easily block calls and texts from whomever you don't want to receive them from, but for some reason it just blocked pretty much everything. Everything seemed to allow for texts from contacts, but I couldn't receive anything from my family. Also, the forced video ads were irritating. Maybe if it functioned properly for me, I would have kept using it for a bit. Also... It seemed like my phone kept waking up with this installed.

Good app, tons of ads. Would be willing to pay to get rid of ads but it doesn't support multiple profiles for contacts. Like a work profile.
