Had a mouse or rat going to town in the roof right above me at 2am and thumping the wall and making noise did nothing. Out of desperation tried a bunch of the sonic apps. This at level 22 worked almost straight away. The range is only a few metres but that was exactly what was needed. I have used it several times since once the scratching started up and just left my phone on a high shelf for the rest of the night. I realise this would not get rid of rodents all over, but I don't care as I slept very well.
