This app is very powerful with no bugs that I have ran across yet and I'm only on the free version. Unlike another similar app this one doesn't hang up and start running in circles after a certain percentage is checked and begins going back through apps it has already checked in a endless circle and never gets finished with the scan. I really want to see what the professional version is capable of which is rare for me. I don't usually care to spend money on program subscriptions.
This app locked my phone. Would not accept my fingerprint. Took me 30 minutes to deal with a reset because the phone kept stopping me from reaching my email. Was on the road when it happened. No other computer to get the email. Emergency unlock process needs to be looked at. I love open source, hate to leave a review like this but my experience was terrifying. My whole life is on this device. Good luck with your app.
I went into one of those pop-up winner apps on my cellphone and it was a bad mistake. Download 3 other antivirus apps and this one showed me where they where located, and I lock and loaded on them. Was 3 . Don't wast time. Download and keep this one if your curious of the internet like me lol . Now I can get back to games, knowlege, and the news. Thanks alot!!!
5 stars all the way guys! Finally an app that does what it says and what it's intended for. So glad I found it I tried 11 before this and only because I didn't see it before then. All the rest were jammed packed with ads and actually slowed my phone my apps and internet down so slow the internet the apps and the phone service was locking up. Well guess what this app found out it was the apps I was trying that claimed they did what this one ACTUALLY DOES!! AWESOME APP GUYS BEST IN THE PLAYSTORE!
Exceptional! Had been able to detect, and advise on questionable apps installed that other like software missed! I've reached out to the developer on multiple occasions and have received a faster than usual (from other developers) response. They DO care, despite previous users experiences and comments.
Pretty neat. Ave the lifetime premium membership version. Haven't had any threats. Only checks the dark web for one of my email addresses not both. I got it from the developers webpage however. Now it will not update to the current version and google play store wint download an update it will only replace the one I have and removed my lifrtime subscription.
I DO NOT recommend this app. Signed up for a 7 day free trial and before it had ended, I was paying the full year subscription. This app is pretty useless as it doesn't really do anything to make it worth the price. You are going to have a better plan by keeping your fingers crossed!
The app said outdated signature's, wouldn't update. There is no realtime protection. Apparently there are issues with the free version. I think they should explain more in the(about this app) free vs. pro. From reading other reviews I can see there are issues with this app *response* I don't think it was outdated signature's it notified me they were. I explained clearly. And please learn to speak correctly.
Seems worth having ... I am using this app in conjunction with Sophos Intercept X with which there are no problems. I know very little about ProtectStar. But this is a bona fide application. I've only had one false positive so far. Customer support is very good.
First rate from the looks of things, so far so good. Perhaps I should upgrade to the Pro version and turn this app lose on all my devices. It's got yank now, but I'd love to see it hitting on all right cylinders. Good work braddahs .
Really an awesome little app. Good design. However the app seems to close after a certain time and if you don't notice that there's no icon on the top screen, your phone will be unprotected untill you restart the app. Once this issue is sorted, i will gladly extend my pro version for more than 3 months. Other than that, i have no complaints
