There are 2 ways to uninstall Find My Phone 1) Go to Menu->Help, Click Remove Device Admin and then click Uninstall Find My Phone (in app uninstall) 2) Go to Settings->Security->Device Administrators and Deactivate Find My Phone 2014 (system uninstall)
2) Do I need to register an account?
You do not need to create an account to use Find My Phone. Most of the anti theft apps require you to register and collect your personal information, we do not do that.
3) Is this app free

This app was extremely fraudulent. It set up a 4-digit pin for my phone OVERNIGHT and made me completely restart my phone. After restarting my phone, I had to reinstall EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY APPS. This is by far the worst app that I have downloaded in my life. It ruined my phone. Please don't make the mistake of downloading this app.
I did as the instructions say. Added up a friend (he also downloaded the app and added me up as well) then he sent to my lost phone a SMS with the "take code" and after a minute he got another text saying a picture was taken and sent to my email but I haven't received anything in my inbox!! Am I doing smith wrong?
This app is the worst it has been put on my phone by the device administrater and i can't get it off and it doesn't even uninstall
Its features are very nice but when one theft your phone he will put off your sim so how can i use its sms commonds. It should have an other feature of sending the number of new sim card so that we can use these comonds .. Thanks
How do i deactivate it so i can delete this off my phone it doesn't work but wont let me delete

This has all the great functions of find my iphone and more. It's amazing for its purpose and is very easy to use
It want let me uninstall it because it say needs to be deactivated but it didn't deactivate. 👎😡😤
The photo feature doesn't work appart from that it's ok but there's better find my phone apps then this 1

This app dont uninstall so easily..may be it harms my device.and it works very slow

Cant get rid or stop the app from running. When i press the deactivate button a message appears saying you must deactivate app before you can uninstall. Hello i pressed the deactivate button in the beggining.

Just want to try and locate a lost phone. Need one that app doesn't have to be downloaded on the lost phone first. Frustrated. This thing won't let me deactivate or remove....
It's great to find my phone. But sadly i must send text message to it. How if the thief change the sim card immediately he/she steal it? You lost your phone FOREVER! It should be can find my phone from internet.
I installed this app after losing my tablet a few months ago hoping I would never need it but I did. My phone fell out of my purse while I was in a large store and I didn't realize it until I got home. My son immediately pulled up the info I had given him and accessed the exact address of where my phone was. I have pictures of the man who had it and was trying to open it. Thankfully, he was willing to return it to me but had he not, I would have known exactly where to go. For me, that's very valuable.
