App crashes everytime when Auto scan is used on samsung devices (note 20 and tab s7). Also it will not stay connected to a30m when viewing live data for more than 20 seconds.
It will not connect to my scanner. I've ready tried plugging it and unplugging it numerous times and it still won't connect. Also, why do I have to give this scan tool permission or access to my contacts and recent calls? This thing is scam I swear to goodness. Blue driver is so easy to use and it actually works. This is a scam to try to get as much information from you as possible.
The new UI is better as a design, but the app is taking too much time to load and functions of the scan do not respond well and you have to wait for a long time for every part of the software to load. Softwares update process continuously stop and you have to start it again and again. Please try to fix it as soon as possible cause we depend on it and we use it on a daily basis. I will rate it 5 stars when you fix it. The previous version was simple and very fast loading everything.
it's mostly designed to be run on a tablet. a phone switches to landscape view. usable but not very comfortable. overall, nice app so far. new update: the UI is much better. the VIN autoscan is added but fails to detect a FIAT 500L (2012) while it can from the Fiat Diag Module. missing some the feature to uninstall unused modules when all modules are installed at once. The latest updates are doing Oil Reset perfectly.
I just hope that I can transfer this app to my external sd card. It consumes so much space in my table
Hey Xtool what in the garbage is going on, this new ui now does work at all, locks up and can not get app to work, why in the world you put app that does not work, this is the third time. And know I can't go back. Come on pull up and do something right for once. I am loosing trust on your products, 08- 12-2021 it is much better now, updated my stars to xtool
Will not find or connect to the tool, big waste of $200
Ok so this is a very complete scanner and has worked on every car I tested so far, it includes basic functions for diagnostics that most DIY mechanics will find useful, the only issue I found is with the live data and playback function, when you try to log data it will only read from the module the PIDs displayed on screen making it useless if you want to review data from all sensors as offscreen PIDs won't get recorded, so it can only record 5 - 7 PIDs depending on your screen size .
My phone is Huawei mate 8 ,the app is installed but doesn't start , just the blue screen and nothing else. What's the problem pls
Disappointed. Unable to communicate with Nissan Almera N16 to read VIN or access the SRS, which is the reason for buying the tool and using the app.
It's, a very good app, I use it a lot, needs tweaking a bit true, my big issue is graphs It's useless. At one time it wanted to update to version 1.90 than it disappeared
Fantastic value for the money. Does bidirectional controls and has a brilliant coverage. Xtool is catching up to Autel fast.
Easy to use. Though some diagnostic functions are missing and some non functional. Automatic reports are only saved in demo mode.
Love the scanner and features but it didn't pick up a permanent code on my Honda Accords computer for my catalytic converter. Also live data fuel trim need to be a percentage value.
One week now since I bought the xtool a30m, the first car was a toyota brevis that had problems with the ABS system, after solving the problem, it required zero point calibration, but the xtool A30M failed to do so, in the case of the toyota it has no internal special function you can't do even memory reset, even doing calibration capability, today I tested on a NISSAN navara 2005 car, it wanted to register the injectors, but it failed, i.e. in short xtool a30m for Japanese cars still failed,

Dont waste your time efforts or especially your money, you need buy there device, that could be a bigger waste as there's no way of trialling the crap, oops mean app. Nut from experience when they work it this way you will loose. Just advice from experience, I own an xtool, iobd2 and guess what, $85 and is useless if your an experience user. It not compatible with this xtool app. Good luck trying to get a refund, I had only used it 20min. They refused.
The lasted update didn't work I uninstalled and downloaded an apk of the latest software from a site on Google it downloaded installed all the car data then I done an update now everything works perfectly It now looks a lot better than the old version
Was decent till newest update. The new update won't let you install updates. Can't scan any vehicles because the vehicle needs to be updated but update fails at updating please fix soon.
What happened to the app..i can not use it at all after the update..i tried reinstalling it but still not functioning..before it was a very good app
This latest update messed up the whole system. couldn't update diagnostic modules. says installation failed. device not usable at the moment
Application is top, comunication with app developer is also very good, there are still few bugs , but they fix it fast.
Options missing after update. Special functions not displaying, update install fails, can't detect vehicle

Can not update all system...always text instaling failed, please change to old version, this one can not work at all Still can not install from your source
Works fine for diagnostics but cannot do immobilizer as claimed. Tried it with Honda and Toyota without success
I bought this scanner because it was advertised as having "Electronic Pump Activation" among it's special functions. It did not say on the website or in the manual that it is only for 4 oddball manufacturers (Hyundai, Kia, BMW and MINI). Obviously, that is misleading. And because it is obvious, inferrably intentional.
