I love this app and used everyday but on upgrading to kit kat just say's unsupported file please do an update if you use on 4.2.2 jelly bean works great 5* even.it does look like developers have abandoned this app any one out there who can do a copy that works on later than kit kat would be on a winner
Does not work on my galaxy s3 . I've tried different file formats and none of them are supported. The app has potential , but as for now I will be uninstalling it . It is just take up room and it makes me angry anyway n
Love this. Its not quite exact for more complicated and quick chord changes, but if you are good at learning by ear it is a great cheat sheet. I learned a song on the piano I heard on TV in about 10-15 mins. Love the favorites feature to go back to songs you are working on, and with the ability to read from YouTube, the possibilities are almost endless.
Cool and on point so far after a few months of usage... UPDATE : lost my phone. Re uploaded but is not giving me updated version. Attempted to repurchase, but the message "already own" keeps coming up. Now I only have 40 second version.
I had gotten an update for my phone and now every time that I try to open a file it says something about the file not supported or something like that. I can not even go through youtube anymore. I would like this fixed or my money back. How ever it was a great app until this happened.
This is one of my favorite apps...still works great on my old Android tablet and I absolutely love it...but since the Kit Kat os update (around then) it seems to have stopped working for everyone with the unrecognised song error...seems to now be an orphan app too with no development or ability to contact developer. The solution to get this working is to put it on an old pre kit Kat device. Hopefully development may continue one day...it is so useful for practice.
This is a great app still has a few small bugs but like all love relationships so bit I have over 350 songs on my phone and with this app I can play them all even shows me how to play moonlight Sonata by Beethoven on my guitar how freaking cool is that download this app if you play the guitar, or maybe even morning to learn you can do with this.. Great app guys just please fix the few bugs and I can live out the rest of my life in love
The app is good but i donot came here to give review about it.... The free version off this app only allows you to get the chords of first 40 seconds ... suppose your song duration is 2 minutes so cut the song into three parts first is from 0-40 seconds the next is from 40-1:20 and the last one is from 1:20-2:00. So thats how you can get chords of the full song.. i gave 5 stars not for the app i gave it for my tricky idea
Thought this would be the perfect app for me, great idea and exactly what I am looking for. Unfortunately the creators can't take time to offer help to me as it doesn't work on my phone and although I have reached out to them multiple times to voice my problem, I have had no response. Deleting and waiting for someone to create one that actually works
This is a great concept, and it sounds like a dream come true! But I guess some dreams are to good to be true. Maybe with some improvements, this app will be fantastic! I cannot use any songs from anywhere even though I made sure they were supported files. I would definitely be willing to try this again if some improvements were made. Thank you for putting this idea out there, though!
Used to be my favorite and no longer working or getting response from support. Too bad, it was really good so something messed up as it no longer recognizes mp3 or WMA and most YouTube video. File error most of the time. Best to just try the freebie and save your money.
I would give it a 5 when it worked, nexus got an update now it no longer works with my library, it does work with utube but I'm not always connected. I received feedback that they are aware of the issue and are working on an update. When I see it I will change my rating. When you pay for something it better work. So all android users be aware.
Good recognition quality. Wished if chords playing instrument could be selected from a list instead of the flute like sound. Wished if it could be used offline as it eats up my money when its online. Hangs and gives a blank screen when I select another song to analyse after having played and analysed a previous song on samsung galaxy pocket( may be its because of available memory ). Wished if i could save the chords to a text file and allow me to type or retrieve the song lyrics. Jakie J. you are right its hard to recognise older songs e.g mohammad rafis, it leaves a lot of gaps. Wished if interface could support autorotate. Tempo and tonality changing is great. The play button is too close to Developed by link. Each time I press on play the link is lauched (Annoying). Wish if could recognise solo voice only songs so I could play on my own songs. Wished if could chose between displaying bar chords instead flat ones e.g. D#m instead of Ebm. PLEASE FIX.. Thank you in advance
For some songs this really works very well. Others it usally gets quite close and you can work out. Nice touch being able to select music from u tube increasing the music you can get chords for to almost all music ever.
WAS: A useful tool which does what it says - mostly pretty well. Some additional features such as chord transposition and a few display option preferences would make it even better. EDIT: OMG, they broke it. The ''upgraded'' version 2, which adds many features, gets the basics wrong with chords mistakes, freezes mid-song, and locking up my phone. Please devs, go back to the version which actually did the basics well!
This was exactly the app I was looking for, but now it does nothing. Won't even load a song let alone show the chords. Too bad
Good with most songs but will not download chords specifically youtube(error message does not support player) Also will have the wrong or missing chords...if these issues were resolved it would deserve 5 stars. ....
My most favorite app.!! I play keyboards in a band and have a job that requires my having to drive quite a bit (fed-ex actually) not only can I review current and new songs but, now I can watch and memorize all the chords and changes while on the road! My only negative input would have to be that it sometimes won't show chords stating " Cannot connect to server" I use a WiFi hotspot at all times. Other than this? My absolute favorite app. To which I have been searching for. Helps out during practice too
Awesome for new songs. With old ones, out of 5 songs, maybe 2 or 3 songs, get stuck and freeze. and I have to start over again. Some songs, it will stop showing the chords after about 1- 1and half minute, even though i have the updated version.other than that it is the best app I came across. And I went through few.
This app was very promising but apparently they have abandoned this app. Nothing works anymore. Very very disappointed! This app is ok but... It is pretty accurate as far as the chords Slow as crap Off beat unlike the video Definitely not worth 5.99
Purchased this app when I had my Samsung Note 1 and worked fine. Now I have my Samsung Note 3 it stopped working and says file format not supported when the file is an MP3 file. It also acts like the unpurchased version. But when I try to purchase it, it says already purchased. Very frustrated now. Please fix this.
This app was beautiful, but I guess the creators do not care about it no more,still a good app,just won't let me upgrade to pro version,please fix this and I will happily give 5 stars and buy the full version.
I have downloaded several audio formats (MP3, WAV, etc) and keep getting "Unsupported file format". I read that some people love this app. Would be helpful it they share what format was used for this app to work.
Does not provide chords for 'any' song, just popular stuff. Try it with something that is not mainstream and you'll be very disappointed
Brilliant programme that has given me a second childhood. From performing in bands in my early 20's I became stuck with an old repertoire. Now I'm playing Adel and the Eagles. Thanks so much for bringing my hobby back to life in my 60's. If you could make this perfect for me it would be the ability to print the music and chords. May be impossible?
Tried multiple songs the app either crashes or does not recognise the format. Even with song formats that they claim work like mp3. Tried to search YouTube videos and none of the things I searched had any results. Even for videos that I had previously watched and typed the exact name of the video. TOTAL Waste of data and time. It DOES NOT WORK.
