AOD: Art of Defense

One of the best tower defence games out at the moment. Good for a quick game or play a lot to keep upgrading. Depth of upgrades makes big differences to tower setups. Each level can be played in four different styles. And I haven't had to buy anything to enjoy it. Worth it, if you like tower defence games.

Unless you're one of the very best TD players and can meticulously plan out your upgrade trees, you're going to have to drop some money on the game. Good news is, the pricing is pretty generous. 10 bucks for 2K gold will cover a lot of upgrades that will get you a good deal further into the game, but you're definitely gonna have to spend more later on. It's a fairly good game, but if you're strictly looking for a f2p game, don't bother with this one. You'll uninstall after the first chapter.

Very fun TD through the first 4 sectors --enjoyed it a ton. The Fog scenarios can be difficult, but also a nice challenge. Somewhere in sector 5, the game becomes nearly unplayable. The level rewards are capped, so you won't be able to grind. And unfortunately, meaningful upgrades are approaching 1000 gold, so you can't earn them anyway. If you want to support the game, do so early when the upgrades are affordable. Gold becomes increasingly worthless as a single upgrade can go over 10,000 gold towards the later part of the tree. Good TD, but you'll almost certainly leave a lot of content unplayed due to the extreme difficulty, and inability to upgrade.

It was good, great even, then I got to the very middle of chapter 5. I've gone back and beaten just about every level prior, to its fullest, and still cannot unlock enough upgrades to beat this level. I refuse to pay to win a game. I've watched enough extra starting money ads to pay twice over for this game and now I feel as though I wasted all this time because someone, somewhere, decided to be a bit greedier them they should've been.

Very good TD until...You get to chapter 5. It becomes impossible to progress without paying into the game. I don't mind the fuel system as it replenishes quickly enough. The fact that you can't replay levels for gold is where it really kicks you in the nuts. The tech trees are really cool, as well as the commander characters. I just wish you could grind gold.

Very solid tower defense game and honestly one of my favorites. The levels are definitely challenging, but not impossible. My complaint is that later upgrades are too expensive, and until more levels are added, there is really no easy way to get currency for upgrades without paying or spending many hours grinding.

Upgrades system is top-notch. I like absolutely every part: grapchics, animations, setting, heroes, towers themself and the way world map looks, it's just a pure joy. Restricted energy is negative part, but else i would just die from dehydration. I suggest developer to consider porting this to Steam (PC). Oh, yes, give players a tip that anti-air tower needs time to wind up and shoot for the first time (when just constructed).

Fun and challenging. The game has both an upgrade system for the towers and heroes. This is a great system because if you get stuck progressing through the levels there are multiple approaches to take to beat those levels. You can either grind previous levels you didn't perfect for gold to upgrade your turrets or heroes or rethink your strategy for a level or a combination of the two. My only complaint is there isn't enough levels! I've nearly perfect each level and it's still fun!

Really enjoyable tower defense game. Tons and tons of levels to keep you occupied. A fun and interesting upgrade system. A wide variety of level layouts to challenge you. It's true that buying some crystal packs can get you ahead but I don't personally have a problem with spending a bit of money on a very enjoyable gaming experience. This gets a big thumbs up from me.

As soon as I seen the gas tank icon it was a 1 star automaticly. The gameplay is good but these tower defense types are completely ruined when you add features such as this. It basically puts a time limit for how long you can play! So forget farming that goes right out the window. Not only that but you will literally gain no rewards once you complete all levels of a stage and try to replay them, BUT it still requires fuel to play it?! Now that is absolutely ridiculous. Waisted all fuel on 2 lvls

The game is nice. I enjoy it. I don't mind about the ads, but they don't work. They glitch the game, the game lags with most ads, and to sum, they don't give the boost that they should. King's evony, goodvile and others really don't work. I'm getting tired of the game because of the ads. Please work better on this asap!

CANT PROVIDE a 5 STAR REVIEW yet although I like this game. My main issue is that, enemy vehicles have no stats. There is an encyclopedia for enemy vehicles but no details on the amount of HP, armor, strengths and weaknesses. All it provides is a narrative description of the enemy vehicle and nothing else. But nonetheless, I enjoy this game and went to purchase some to show some support.

The game play is 5*, the cost structure is 0*. I would gladly like to support the game by paying for it, however, the badges, which are necessary at higher levels are too expensive. No game is so good as to be worth more than $60-$80; the badges cost $104 and $208 / year which is grossly excessive. I'd be willing to pay ~US$4 / month.

Its rare I give this kind of review. Though your game is outstanding!!! It has the perfect balance of reward to play, along with the perfect insentives to watch an AD each round. Other designers should really follow your template. I hope to see many more games from you guys

Game is simple and not too complex to start with. Easy game currency and upgrade options. Difficulty rises with th levels. Zooming in/out option is limited. Graphics could be better

This is an actual "game", not like99% of mobile games that basically play themselves or are idle games. This one needs trial and error, a bit of strategy and a bit of luck. I would appreciate if my towers could target specific types (strong, armored, weak, first etc.) but even so it is surprisingly fun. So far .. I have experienced some bottleneck scenarios, but no pay to win bottleneck. visuals are very good and the tech tree is simply huge. For a mobile game a clear 5/5

Replaying stages offers nothing. When you get stuck, you simply collect the daily reward then wait for the next day. Stages are so fast-paced and tedious that you basically just throw down whatever, but the fact each enemy can only really be damaged by a specific tower means you must use what the game wants you to use. Stages are such a random mess with no time to plan and no layout or numbers of incoming enemies that the outcome is random unless you are super powered/pay for power.

Awful design that demands cash to progress or a ridiculous amount of downtime. It's a tower defense game with stamina.. It cloaks itself in the glamour of having a skill tree which is really just a tiered system adding another layer of paywall to the already strangled gameplay. It isn't clever or intuitive. It's a generic and overdone. You either get the DPS upgrades or you fail every time. As if that wasn't bad enough on its own there is a stamina bar as well. I'd lol but it's just sad.

Congrads guys....knocked this one out of the park. For me it is the best TD stratergy game iv'e played thus far. Good graphics with an even better design.Don't need to pay to win, chalenging though. Definitely recommended to those who enjoy TD games.

You cannot get gold from stage you already win. Sometime the enemy so strong and fast, even tank cannot kill it. Some map need think hard. Even gold at starting stage not enough, must watch ads. Some stage is to hard, sometime the tower so stupid cannot hit the enemy, enemy so strong and so fast, the money you get from kill enemy so small take long time to upgrade tower on battlefield. Unless you empty you wallet or you luck is good, don't hope to win with 100% clear and enjoying this TD game.

Nice gameplay and graphics but many maps doesn't fully load, I can see the cars moving but cannot see the road path and where to place your turrets. But i can play other maps smoothly, why is that happening?? The game won't even load now after updating...fix it pls.. Still no luck after updating to newer version, won't load anymore, maybe its on my device thanks for the effort though.

I was really digging on this game, but then I read a post about how it gets to expensive to upgrade units & you stall & won't be able to progress any farther. I dono, I still liked it anyway. Might try it out again.

Good game but the developer needs to play the game before release. The fog levels become unplayable at the second field because critical spots to put turrets can not be reveled even with the tank. Unless you farm the first field to the point of bordem and level the tanks range which is poor game design. It was fun until that point.

An amazing tower defense game. Though it pitches you right into the middle of a level at the start, the controls are easy and intuitive to understand. And the game play is superb. Love the game. Keep it up developers!!!
