Sometimes it just unexpectedly stops playing the music in the middle of the song. The singular loop stopped working, unfortunately. The "next" button doesn't work. You have to press previous instead. I also have a minor problem with the fact that the "Recently added" playlist is in alphabetical order instead of in the order the songs were downloaded, but that's a nitpick. The main issue is just the fuctionality of the dang app itself. The added search function really helpful, though.

I love everything about this app, with one tiny exception: The notification and lockscreen controls are persistent. Even after I stop playing, swipe away the notification bar, and kill the app, the notification keeps coming back until I either start playing something else or restart my phone. Not a big deal, but still annoying, and the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review.

Great app, but it needs improvement. Every time I want to use the widget feature, after an unexplained amount of time the widget stops working. Also the context menus are kinda weird on Android 7. I know it is not easy to port an app made for Gingerbread or even older, but I haven't seen an update for a long time.

Update mid 2020: I used to love this music app. But on certain Android devices, the Sound effects button disappeared for no reason whatsoever along with other random buttons in the "..." button. Why must you remove the fourth button labeled "..." after the square? I have had to go with Musicolet which unfortunately does have in-app purchases but thankfully all it has is stuff that's not required just to use the app. Just useless stuff I don't need is an IAP on Musicolet.

This is an app that does not show you ads. That's great! But there's a problem. Whenever I plug in my earphones on my commute and keep the phone inside my pocket, the song stops playing after about 40 seconds. I wish I could say it's my phone's own problem, but it doesn't happen with other music apps I've used. This app is better than those flashy apps, but when it comes to this one thing, this app really let me down.

Music stops every 67 seconds by itself. Very wierd glitch, but its not one or two songs on this player, its every song. Its unfortunate since its a knock off of the Default Player by removing the ads but not resizing the UI to fit.

WARNING: Only get this app if you like pauses in your music. Loved this app played great until just recently when with my new phone my music will be playing and then my phone screen goes blank and a minute later my music stops and I have to open my phone, open the app, go to my playlist and hit the song again to get it to continue where I left off. 😞

It's very great, but it glitches, not too bad of glitching but it sometimes won't let you play a certain song as it will say something along the lines of "storage too full to play song" and it does get annoying, but it plays music for free and the adds don't really get in the way at all.

This used to be my favorite music player. But then it started pausing my music if I locked the phone and wouldn't let me play it again till I restarted the app. I'm sorry you had a good run but it's too annoying to deal with. I do not reccomend this app anymore.

This app basically replaces the old Default Music Player app after it received its update. This minimalist style is hands down the best intuitive system. Thank you for providing the market with this amazing service once more

This is one of the few rare times I bother to rate/review an app, but this is perfect. Exactly what I wanted, feels just like the classic android music app that came pre-installed on my phone when I was in highschool. I'm in love!

Opening app or tapping albums brings up "complete action using" prompt(android 7.0 tablet - All buttons display prompt on 5.1.1 mobile). Cover art and shuffle buttons don't scale up on tablet. Nice minimalistic player. Just needs playback buttons in list mode.

I like the design of the app itself. Really simple and familiar, which is perfect for me. I wish that the lockscreen wouldn't be changed while the music player is playing, but other than that, no qualms.

its a very light weight app. easy to use. but sometimes it stops playing music and you can not restart music by clicking on the notification drawer.

The app itself is great but has a few problems, the previous button doesn't work and sometimes the songs stop, mostly when it's locked. Love the interface

It seems like a good app if your looking to stay in the mood, we were looking for something more confident. It has nice graphics and it seems to stay up to date great app. ☺

Its a very good and simple app. The major problem is that I can't go back to thw previous song when I am using shuffle mode. Besides that, its a good app that does not use up much space

The original android music player, although my main music player has changed to BlackPlayer coz of it's bookmarking feature among other stuff. This was the all the music player I needed, still got this installed for the nostalgia.

Music player notification does not show as other players shows in android 11. Album tab doesn't show Album art too. Music player notification is important too change music while using other app.

Why don't you guys make this or you can move it to your SD card instead of wasting your internal hard drive on your phone? There are a lot more complicated apps that allow you to do that. Why do you guys have to be so lazy? You know a lot of phones don't have a lot of space.

Does literally nothing on my phone. When I open it. It opens my filemanager. Even when I select any music file it doesnt play. Dont know if it does the same for others

Add share in options and improve search option and also recent playlist is not loading recently added songs properly so please fix it. This is a great app. 👍

Best music app overall. The only problem is that it needs Google chrome set as the search engine and implemented on the next update.

Very simple player with perfect performance. Good job guys. But if the availability of sleep timer option available later on it will be very good.

Everything was okay when I used it for the first tym....but now the song is paused on it's own..n i need to go to music again n again to restart the music...please fix this issue..I'll be very thnkful..🙄

Excellent basic player. The only feature I really, really, miss is the possibily to jump back to a previous song on a playlist.
