AParted ( Sd card Partition )

Pro: For me this system worked well. Con: I followed instructions, but made some guesses because the pdf is really not showing the steps in between. For example it asks to remove SD card at some point. A lot of phones you cant do that on the fly, or without removing the battery. I knew cell wont take NTFS so when I saw that I knew why the card didnt work, and I knew to add a new partition and overwrite 100% with FAT32 format, but most users wont know that. tl;dr works but needs better guide

_the in-app manual is a major help_ _SHORT ads. understandable. tiny bit disruptive, but not disturbing_ I was going to rate 4* due to some bugs and arrangement issues, but the fact that I was still able to quickly do what I needed to - with 4 separate drives, repeatedly - where other 4* star apps have FAILED, is convincing enough to show me that this app is a diamond in the rough. omg this app is the true app for formatting and doing stuff for sdcard it has everything that you need, you do need to have simple knowledge tho (also for people have problems change the mmcblk1 to mmcblk0 it'll get fixed probably) and yeah!! best app does everything you searched for :D

You have a right to put in ads, but I have the right to block them. I would happily purchase this app if you offered it ad free and it worked, but I'm not going to unblock ads to find out. I'll just use my PC instead for partition management. Thank you and I hope to see a paid version in the future.

Works amazing for me after rooting my phone. The ones who are complaining mostly don't really know that they don't actually need to remove the SD (you just have to unmount, an option in settings > storage, most of the time) or complain they need root (which is supposed to be obvious, duh). And to those who complain about ads, you can just turn off your mobile data or wifi, can't you? Other than those, the app works well.

The app worked amazing, now it can't anymore. It says I have an Adblocker EVERY TIME I TRY TO USE IT, BUT DON'T HAVE IT IN ANY WAY. I need to delete my ext2 partition but now I can't no matter what. The "pro" version doesn't work also and says that I don't have root or haven't granted permission, both of which I already did. My sdcard is basically ruined.

For whatever reason this is trying to format my phone's internal storage rather than the SD, which of course likely never works being as the app and OS is running from the internal storage and can't be unmounted while simultaneously running. Seems dangerous though.

Corrupted all my data! I left the internal partition protection on and I was only modifying an external drive (usb stick) but somehow all my data, including my keypassdx password manager file was corrupted. Everything is displaying as 0B of space and I can't access my internal storage in Google files or any other files app.

I tried to opened this and I got 10 popup ads within first 2 minutes. says root required even with my phone rooted Uninstalling. EDIT: Would drop to zero stars, belittling the user for a bad review. Educated and technology literate user. This app simply has too many forced ads. I didn't get beyond the ads l, uninstalled.

Very useful application. I personally like the layout not being overly complicated. Can definitely get lost in apps with more than necessary going on. Everything seems to work as advertised as long as you read the full description and have all bases covered when using this. Thank you for the well put together and nicely layed out ui.

Too many ads and does not mention anywhere that it requires root. EDIT: It does mention that you need ROOT all the way at the end, the problem is that the description on Google Play Store only shows you the first few lines. The most important thing about using this app is that it requires root. Why not mention it in the first line (instead of the last line)

Exactly what it said on the tin. Was trying to undo the partition I made for apps2sd in android (since I don't have access to a computer right now), been looking for an app that could actually 'departition' SD card (apps2sd can make partition, but it can't departition) and this is the only one in the market for android. Absolutely riddled with ads, immediately uninstalled! UPDATE 2: Selfish? If this'd been a good app I'd have paid for it it was sold!! If not, with moderate ads I'd have used it instead of competitors who don't jam it full! Again, well over ½ are bad reviews - check your attitude!! UPDATE 1: Yeah, it's me who is wrong! 🙄 Over ½ of your reviews give 1*, many for the exact reason as me. Rather than giving me snark & attitude, maybe spend some time fixing it & reducing the ridiculous number of ads!

Hi. I searched and tried so many things. Your app is the only one that ultimately works. Yes your app has lots of ads but with such an app I would not mind, you really deserve income. One request, pls keep the swap partition option in your future update. It was really useful. Your app is flawless. Thanks.

have been few years and i feel nostalgic and cant remember the first reason im using this apps. maybe for creating swap partition. and next experiment i go installing windows 7 on microsd. but the microsd doesnt last long with too much data write.

While it's worked on prior devices extremely well. Not working on new tablet I see, through other critical reviews, that its now only usable in rooted devices. So no need to mail you. Also saw that your answers to others are snarky & unprofessional. Will never use anything else you ever develop due to that. My rating stands. Please take courses in customer service professionalism if you want to stay in business. Develop professional set of responses & stick to them. Snark has no place in here.

Does what it says. I fixed a 16gb sdcard with this (still checking tho), the app has some limitations but I think it's because Android is always being Android, so I won't blame you for it. Making two partitions as exfat will leave the second as nfts and I don't understand why. Good app, keep it up

This app does not make any sense, why non rooted phone can not format usb flash drive or microSD card into ext4, which is free Linux file system. But Windows 95 (27 year old) vFat system is used as a default with 500Kb/s speed limit and 4GB file size. My video is 200GB. What connection has external usb flash drive with phone rooting?

The app works quite well and the developers did a great job. Surprisingly so. Yes there are ads. Get over it. Would you rather pay for this app? This is a tool most people use infrequently, if the developers just put one or two ads they'd make almost nothing. They deserve to be paid for the work they've put in, as the app does work well. Be reasonable

Perfect app, exactly what I needed, works geat everwhere I've used it so far Watching an add every time I want to format something is a small price to pay for the quality on offer here. Silly suggestion though: see if you can read /proc/filesystems or somethin to check which filesystems the formatting device supports, then show the user two sections of available filesystems, at first the filesystems that should work on the device, then all the others in case someone wants them anyway. A+++

One of best application. I tried with App2sd but that wasn't work. So i downloaded Aparted and link2sd and surprisingly both works on my android phone Now i can use my external memory as internal memory..

Does not work, just shows you an add ever time you wish to do something. Tried lots of options and did not fix my usb device

Detects my usb drive but can't format it. Everyone I chose the USB device from settings it reverts back to my SD card.

I would be willing to turn off ad block if you asked nicely. Ceasing to work altogether and berating the user about it is unacceptable though. Shame, it was a great app once. Was.

The 1-star review, is because the app notified me that it required root and therefore could not be used on my device, AFTER displaying ads... So I was forced to look at ads in an app that I could not use, because of poor engineering.

this worked on my android box. My device now uses my 32 gig sd card as internal storage and i created a 4 gig ram partition. As for ads i encountered 1 throughout the whole process. All in all great app guys
