Apartment List (Unreleased)

I've used this before and it's a great way to find your best option for an apartment. The distance for commute plus amenities, I only wish they had more room/shared options because currently want to share a house, but the way this narrows down lists is top notch, and a good user experience not programmed solely by robots as most apps are. Me finding a home is elevated over shoving advertisements in my face, like every other app misses that mark in our present society.

Super easy-to-use & customizable it's like having a full-service agency working full-time to help with my search. After a few questions to get a feel for what you are looking for the app gets to work- Separating properties into categories according to your preferences, has One-click to contact the ones you like, and that’s just the beginning. I love this app bcuz it takes the guess work out of the searching making it amazingly easier to navigate than other apps.

Highly recommend! Fantastic search platform! I put in every extravagant amenity on my profile and I was still matched with hundreds of apartments. Their user-friendly formating and accessibility made combing through all thoses matches quick and easy. I narrowed down my top 5 in no time at all. I prefer to use this sevice on a mobile app than a desktop. The only suggestion I can make is to add a sqft minimum to the filter options.

Terrible It keeps suggesting places beyond the budget I set. It keeps shoving very high end apartments in my face eveytime I use the app. It feels like I'm watching a video with ads every 5 seconds. It's trying to force me to take on a expensive place. Edit All it gives me is places way over budget. I always thumb down those but they keep giving me the same places that is beyond budget. Every once in a while a get one or two within budget.c

Great but Needs Work. I like how simplified the UI is, clean n neat. My search returned a surprising number of potential results , and most or all of them are new to me (not found on other rental finders). I like the way you sort the matches using heart (loved), thumbs down red (not for me), and green thumbs up (liked/maybe). I didn't see some of the information on the first few I looked at bcuz I didn't know there was more info if I scrolled all the way down. I love the amount of pictures up.

Honestly this app is absolutely stunning. It has REAL up to date listings, the pictures and descriptions are impeccable and I have never had so much success scheduling viewings!!! I went from using other sites and apps and not being able to get a call or email back, to FOUR viewings scheduled in a day!!! Five Stars!!!

It's a good idea and the listings it finds are relevant and useful, but it does have some bugs. Some properties it doesn't provide a link to the website and all it offers is an option to schedule a meeting. Which....no, I'm not going to schedule a meeting until I've seen the website, lol!

I have been using this app for days! But, I can't give it 5 stars because I think there needs to be more options. For example a portfolio you can put up and an option for landlords to view it. "I own a 3ft long snake and plan on having 4 roommates for a 2 br because I'm a college student" Few problems already that can't be expressed with the current layout. My snake isn't a dog or a cat, its caged! Apartments have been turning me down for the amount of roommates! We need MORE OPTIONS!!

This app is amazing! I didn't know there were so many available apartments in my area. Not only that but it shows the distance to my job and all the perks I'm wanting. Downside is that not all listings tell you the fees but that's probably the fault of the lister. Thank you!!

Can't change my selections? Really? A "maybe" is no longer available, or I don't like it, after all, but it remains on my "short list" forever. It would also be nice if I could again see which selections are a best match. After choices are made, they all get put in one pile. Not helpful. I asked for short term rentals, but most of my matches are not. Should be listed as part of my filters so I can know which is a match and which ones aren't. I hope you'll still be making some improvements.

I like it so far, it's like tinder for apartments, one thing I would request is to add reviews from Google of the apartments. I do like the suggestions if I need to sacrifice something (a little bit farther, or a little bit pricier, etc). Another suggestion is if they had a filter for "multiple pets" (as in more than 2 pets) since I have 2 dogs and 1 cat that have to come with me when I move

It's real simple to find exactly what you're needing. They've got tabs to search by amenities, and bedroom space, pet friendliness, etc (at the same time). And they let you prioritize the results into categories by what's most important for you

Its almost perfect, only wish it would add a filter to hide income restricted housing and better visuals for fees and utilities included . Otherwise its only slightly better than the other house hunting apps. The matches part is legit the best part being able to have the app organize rather than you personally is rad.

Time saver, easy to filter, relevant results, great in app tools to contact the properties. There is still a need to be attentive to bogus listings, but I've only encountered 1 listing such as that. Overall, a great app.

Amazing app compared to ask other apartment app. Very useful & tailors your search to exactly what you are looking for. And the response from the apartment communities that have been reached out to from Apartment List on my behalf during my search at just the click of a button is Amazing!

I like how the app is like Tinder with apartments. However, the only issue I have is that I wish I could see all of the other apartments in the list I'm looking at without having to swipe away the ones before then. For example, if I see I have 20 matches in the "Meets Everything" list, I'd like to see all of them in a list that I can swipe from instead of having to swipe through 10 of them just to get to the middle. Hope that makes sense.

When I began using this app straight out of the bat it was looking good and helping me out in every way. It's like tinder but for houses you just swipe and your solid I really recommend this app. I have yet to run into an ad as well so you don't have to deal with them all the time! I'm really happy with this app.

Clean UI but they're not very clear on how their Tinder-like system works. If you like an apartment they automatically generate an email to that property manager which is incredibly annoying if you're just browsing. Tinder doesn't immediately message a person if you swipe right, so why would it immediately message the property owner?

App asks you what your price range is, shows you 2 listing in that range, and show 18 other listings several 100s$ higher than what you selected. I've experimented with several price limits and it always does this. Also doesn't list as many apartments as similar apps.

It worked when I first installed it. I put my commute in there and then I don't know all the sudden it just disappeared and I've been trying to put the commute back in there and I slide the little tab over enter my address in and then it just won't save it I go back in it it's blank in the tab is moved back over. Please fix this

I have used apartment list for the last year and like the options they offer. You can browse several places at once. It has the option to luv places you like or swipe ones you dont like giving it the thumbs up or thumbs down. Some don't have virtual tours but this is a convenient best an easiest way to apartment find. Gave it 4 stars only because the selections in certain areas and some are a bit pricey but overall it's ok I guess.

The user should be able to swipe while simultaneously being able to unswipe. Give user a maximum rent price and then don't suggest any apartments above the maximum price point - since that's kinda a slap in the face to the user. *message in a bottle* --> let the user unswipe!!!

I spent about 15 minutes on this app and it only gave me listing way above my budget price. Even when it gave me my preferred price, the commute said it was 60+ minutes from where I worked. Not a helpful app at all.

Constantly getting notif in my email saying new price list, new apts, matching profile everyday#@?! When I tap app I have to open & what the heck same thing I've seen all mo. False notifications.

This app makes hunting for apartments easier! There's so much involved, and it's a long, arduous process. I l8ve the yes/no/maybe thing. Keep the yes and maybe, never have to see the NO again. NICE!

Could not be any HAPPIER with this experience. I have been looking for apartments for almost a year now and I had been fed up. Downloaded this thinking it would be able to just tell me if there were vacancies. NOPE. GOD DAMN WHOLE NINE YARDS. this app is easily on of my favs now. Period.
