Apex Fusion
From anywhere in the world, with your internet-connected Apex system and this app, you can:
- Monitor the health of your aquarium by observing current and past history of your Temperature, pH, ORP, Salinity and much more (depending on how your Apex System is equipped of course)
- Control the equipment on your aquarium - lights, pumps, heater, etc. Turn them off and on, adjust the lighting spectrum, change pump modes and many other functions.
- Observe your aquarium via connected IP web cams.
- Enter key water testing parameters such as Alkalinity, Calcium, Phosphates, etc.
- Enter notes about observations of your aquarium, maintenance, fish health, etc.
- Remotely feed your fish, right from your handheld device!
- Monitor and control more than one aquarium - either yours or friends.
- Get immediate notifications when something goes wrong in your aquarium (leaks, overheating, pH out of range, water level issues, etc.)

Any Apex System (Apex Jr., Apex Classic, Apex Gold, or the new Apex System)
The Apex must be connected to the internet
An Apex Fusion account (Apex Fusion is our free, cloud-based service)

0 Stars is what I rate this app and system. A total expensive disappointment and a reason to miss buttons. Don't believe the "less cords" hype in their marketing. It's a bigger mess than buying separate pieces with buttons.
App is not uniform across devices and now it isn't compatible with android 11. Granted it's in beta, but out many apps I have installed, it is the only one incompatible. Worked on Android 10. I also feel like they should add dark mode and make it more user friendly when it comes to writing rules and such.
UPDATE: Wont work with Android 11 update . Any news on that? Great app. Only thing is need to give an option to change font color on charts. Can't use with Android on Dark Theme setting (Google Pixel 3a). They don't care because they are Apple people. Either way, near perfect app and anyone that rates 1 star for that one issue is wack.
Last update broke push notifications!! Had to install/reinstall to get it to start working again. Wouldn't be an issue if I could get text messages. Why doesn't this app support any SMS carrier? Why do I have to pick one of only four? Just let me put my phone number in and send it text messages. That's dumb! Support GoogleFi!
Good start, for Android phones that have dark mode set you can't see the labels in the graphs for some reason the text is white. Changed that to Black or add the features that are in the iPhone version so we can control ourselves.
Great ui Port of the Fusion dashboard. Even better that they incorporated the entire interface in a useabil mobile form. 4 stars because no android widget option. The old app widget was front and center on my home screen. I can't see quick stats anymore.😤
Good app but when looking at a graph on an Android phone the numbers are white on a grey background. Can't read them at all. The contrast needs to be changed for sure.
Great app works everytime. For any users having issues. Check you phone settings under apps and ensure to clear the cache. This helps for most Android apps. I didn't have that issue, but just throwing it out there. This app works, I give it 5 stars. Saved my tank a million times.
Completely Unusable on Galaxy S20. Previously using it on an iPhone and worked perfectly, but on a new phone with 12gb of ram, it can't even scroll without freezing and force closing. Very unfortunate.
App keep freezing when scrolling dashboard up/down or when trying to select any item on dashboard. Need to close and reopen app sometime to avoid to wait for the responsiveness ( Samsung Note 9 and Android 10).
The app now works the same as the mobile site, however you removed the widgets! I used to keep the widget on the top of my homescreen so I could check ph and temp without having to open up the app.
You can't setup a new apex fusion system with the android app. I had to use my wife's iPhone. Once I got apex connected to the network and sinced to the cloud I then downloaded this app to my galaxy S20. Logged in and fished my setup. Other than that it's awesome!
I'm finding it difficult to give this app a rating. On my Huawei P10 the dashboard freezes up an becomes unresponsive for minutes at a time. However on my old Samsung Tab S, it works flawlessly.
Please allow me to change text color on graph data points, it's unreadable with dark mode enabled (even though it says dark mode supported). *Edit 6/19/20: Apex Fusion does NOT super Android 11 beta. Crashes when I try and open.)
Awesome app... User friendly for beginners and advanced.... I've had other brands whose apps seem to be stuck in 2008... You know clunky, unreliable... Definitely not the case here, sleek, reliable & easy to use 👍
Android 12 Connection issues every since I received my new Android 12 phone. Connects then seconds later not connected. Constantly have to keep connecting. Restating the app.
We really need the option to toggle dark mode, i came here looking for a solution and see other also have this same issue. I can't read the charts in dark mode. I shouldn't have to change my phone settings for 1 app. Please update.
Garbage! Yet again another product that is absurdly priced, andq has an app that seems like it's still in alpha phase! I have had my brand new apex and this horrible app for less than 12hrs before I start having impassable issues. Neptune systems you should be ASHAMED of yourselves and the HORRIBLE products you make! for the amount of money you charge for things this stuff should be practically NONE EXISTENT!!! returning my apex, deleted this app, and will NEVER support Neptune system again.
Update (9/7/19): Updating to 5 stars for great customer support via email and updating so to support Android 10 after pixel devices (Pixel 3a XL for me) received latest update. Original Review: Keeps crashing on Android 10 (Pixel 3a xl), was working flawlessly before, please fix!
ever since installing Android q beta's months ago this app has not been working. force closes on opening. with Qs launch today the app is still not functional. My question is who is supporting this app? they've had months to fix it.
Stuck on "Creating Your Account" screen for over an hour, I give up. Garbage. Update: once logged in, absolutely no issue.
Great controller, terrible programing interface. "If so then so"... not a programmer so make it simple. Lights on from to, not greater value or less then BS
Since last update app crashes when I open it 1-3 times before it actually opens. In addition load time of the app is much longer than before
When it works it's nice. It recently logged me out of my account. When I try to retrieve my password it doesn't recognize my email address. When I try to make a new account there is already account made with my email address. Do I have an account or not?!
Dark mode toggle please? Dark mode looks terrible on my Google pixel 4 xl and can't read any pH graph times because it's white text on a gray box. I'd rather just turn dark mode off for Apex fusion.
Thank you Neptune for continuing to supprt your loyal customers and rolling out an app update so quickly for Android 10 early adopters. My company's dev team is still struggling around the clock to get our app updated. They tell me the A10 SDK is another typical Google SNAFU so many kudos to you for getting a new app out in such a timely manner.
App crashes when trying to open and the dark them makes a very difficult to see my readings. I wish I could turn of the dark theme
Finally!!! I've recently updated my apex Jr firmware and now this app freakin' works! Now it's time to see what other modules I can add to my freshwater fish tank! I'm using a galaxy S8+ on Android version 9 Pie
Apex Fusion is very convenient! I have used the Apex since 2010. It's come a long way in ease of use and this app I would be hard pressed to do without now. The app overall works very good. Sometimes it takes a bit to display and I suspect because it's really isn't an app, it's loading a web session and is just an interface. The latest update has a few bugs, but overall it's been great for me. It does lose some settings on testing entries sometimes. Just the test kit preferences.
