I just love it - insane level of customization, every possible thing that you can imagine, you can customize, all the way to the smallest thing, like to change the size of the icon on a 1% base...It takes a bit of time to setup the launcher to your own style and liking, but once you're done with, you'll have 100% unique look & feel on your phone 📱....

Horrible!!! This should not be allowed to install. After install, it says it's for an older version. Horrible tech support too!! It might be great if your smartphone is ancient. One of my phones has the icon lock feature built in but this one doesn't and I need something to prevent the rearranging of my Home screen icons. I suppose I gotta move onward to find a remedy.

Not exactly sure why the ability to have drawer tabs keeps on getting randomly added and removed with each update, but I want it to come back and stay put. Also, kindly make the timing of updates user-controlled. Finding out all your settings have been wiped by the latest update first thing in the morning before going to work is a fairly traumatic experience...

I have been using apex launcher for years now and I love it. Amazing things to have on the system that were available before and some weren't. 1. An option that allows you to transition between screens using a 'random' mode that allows a different transition to be used with every scroll. This feature is available on most launchers. 2. I miss the multi screen view that allowed you to view every screen at once when you pinched, now you have to slide L or R.

I've been using apex pro for maybe over a decade. First update in years and the experience seems phony now. I had to revert back to the old version from years ago in order to get the simple and clean experience I used to get. I couldn't even setup my homescreens to look like my previous setup with the newer version. I appreciate the fact that they're finally putting in time for development, but the main problem is that they're not listening to the voices of long time supporters.

overall an excellent launcher that I have used over several Android devices for many years. Even occasionally venturing to others, I find myself returning to Apex which has it all covered with hardly a twitch. Runs smoothly even on my 4+ year old devices (which I keep around for bedside reading and surfing without the interruptions from social media - not installed). Would def be a 5* if the icon labels would just wrap. The pro version is well worth the investment. Great job devs.

Lots of custom setting that will allow anyone to taylor there screen, and app behavior to the way they like. It does everything I want it to do. Q1 Is there a way to add multiply Apps to one folder, without having to drag each App individually? Q2 Is there way to remove the little folder symbol, that sits on top of files that I add to my pages, via a shortcut. They make it hade to see the file.

Love this straight forward yet versatile launcher! Hope to see more themes, but I'm just having the base launcher is wonderful. It allows me to make the icons and space between them smaller on my Kyocera Duraforce Pro, getting rid of wasted space, and adding nice transitions between actions. Dependable and easy to operate with so many options. Well done! PS: An icon pack theme didn't cleanly uninstall, leaving some icons with the discarded theme. Uninstalled and reinstalled Apex, restored using the awesome "back up and restore" fxn, and voila, clean icons, my setup intact!

Installed it and liked it at first. Then my home screened started changing on it's own. Icons on home screen and dock were constantly disappearing. Home screen settings and app icons would also disappear whenever I switched phone to power saving mode and back. Restarts also failed to replace the home screen that I spent time setting up. Would give them 0 stars if I could. Back to Google launcher for now. Not sure why it gets so many stars.

Been an Apex Pro user since my S3 and this has been the worst update y'all have rolled out. I kind of like some of the improvements, but I really hate how y'all got rid of some customization options namely the transition effects of the app drawer, the fact that you can't make the app drawer transparent, and I wish the folder icon picture would appear on the folder itself when you tap it. This update has been a disservice to those who paid for this app, especially those who have been using this as our only launcher for years. I would buy the pro version all over if it means having these features back. Once y'all fix it I will update this review to 5 stars!!!

Probably been my favorite launcher for many years. Back in 2013 on xdabas jeremyandroid I done several roms. So with all the tons of work you guys did .Y'all should do a few Custom Roms !😀. I did a theme that was for Note2 global I believe where most of it was transparent. My God it was Alot of work .So I know it never balances out as far as money . Apex has been around I know 10 years or so ? It's always been very fluent, screen transitions fast .Just has a great feel very Polished

I've been using Apex Launcher Pro for a number of years. It did exactly what I wanted. Recently I found two issues. First backups no longer worked. Just gave an error that it couldn't be performed. Also the option to sort applications in the drawer was missing. Email to the developer went unanswered, so I gave Nova Launcher a try. Nova read in my Apex settings and after about 20 minutes of tweeking, my phone looks and acts exactly like it did under Apex. Backups work, and my apps sort in the drawer. This was a five star application in my opinion before features started breaking with no response.

I have been using Alex Launcher Pro probably since it was launched. Just got a new phone and I can't restore, nor can I backup. Searched for a solution with no avail. I can see that the main app hasn't been updated in over a year and the 'Pro' since 2018. Looks like I may finally need to move on.

Apex is just awful. the newest versions show you incredibly intrusive and annoying ads unless you pay them a monthly fee. It is extortion, a monthly protection racket. moreover if you have the last good version, 3.3.3 with 1.1 pro key, they will update it automatically unless you are very careful. they did this to my phone last week and it took me hours to undo the damage and get my phone back. This company is not ethical. Never do business with them!

Very dependable compared to most of the other launchers I've trie. I dont think Apex had crashed or frozen even once to be honest. The setup and customization options were very easy to understand and i have been using no other launcher since. I love how I can customize every bit of my phone (ESPECIALLY THE HUGE ICON SELECTION 😁😁) with this app. Even people with very little tech familiarity would coast through the cust. process. Definitely 5 stars, and worth paying for pro. Love it.

I like the launcher and I have the pro version, but all of the sudden I cannot create a new backup with an error of "this action cannot be performed" also I never have been able to successfully restore from a backup, I follow the on screen prompts and nothing happens. Disappointing, after an otherwise well thought out launcher.

A great launcher, but there is quite a few things that need to be added/changed: - Sometimes Apps aren't at the same time as before without me doing anything - not enough folder style options and missing the option to only see the apps in the folder and not the ones in the background - When I activate Notification badges, some app icons will have a bad resolution afterwards - using certain app open animations, and using quick gestures like two finger swipe down, they still open from the bottom

Great app. Wish I could back up to cloud though. Downgraded Because there is no backups of settings, there is, but it's never worked. They must have settings files, so how hard it is to enable the backup that they already have?

First decent launcher that easily allows homescreen shortcuts to urls to be made from a browser. Even long click on the icon after to change name and icon. Just brilliant. No complaints. Also created backup which I posted to myself and used when I had to reset my phone. Worked perfectly... all app icons came back to correct places etc. Android version 9. Unfortunately didn't restore url icons, but I remade them very easily.

I've been using this launcher for years and when the new version (4) came out it had a few bugs. I emailed the developers and they got back to me pretty promptly. As of version 4.1.1, the bugs are all fixed and I have it running in both my tablet and phone. 5/5

First time in a while that a promt asking for a rating actually brought me to the store to rate it. I've used Apex launcher over 4 or 5 different devices through the years and it's always stayed consistently useful and clean looking. the gestures have always been my favorite part and the customization of the more recent updates are beautiful. Keep up the good work.

No way to add icon packs all at once, just 1 icon at a time!? Doesn't have built in icon search, so finding individual icons is hard (ADW does). Folders in app drawer have uselessly small icons & the open folder can't be moved to a useful 1 handed position. Other options missing that ADW supports: "indexed fast scroll" for app drawer (only 2 layouts here!), triple tap gesture, swipe gestures on dock icons even if swipe up for app drawer is on, a swipe action to allow opening a folder.

Effectively gives control over almost every aspect of your desktop. Plenty of Wallpaper & Themes, & you can make your own as well! Have things your way! Light on resources, so you can get plenty done! It's even worth upgrading to the Pro Version! Recommended!

Been using AL for a long time. Even baught pro. But lately when I go into most of the settings. The launcher crashes and returns to the main screen having changed no settings. -Daina
