I backed up my contacts to my SD card and factory reset my phone. After reinstalling, it can't detect it's own backup in the SD card. I copied the backup to Google drive hoping that it would recognize it there. Even there, the app can not recognize the backup file. What's the use of backing up when you can't restore from the backup?
App has become worse after updating to latest version. Even my pro subscription has started showing ads. Waste of money. Grrr... And the app doesn't work fine. Have to open the app and backup manually everytime. Auto backup doesn't work unless app has been opened up. And ads too for pro version. Such a waste after latest update.😬😬😡
App appears abandoned! Used to be a great app hence why paid for Pro, but still not working properly for what seems like forever. I kept checking back but no luck. Google drive still doesn't work is main gripe, but many others. Do not buy. Will make a note and avoid this dev's other apps if happen to come upon them.
Update made everything extremely bad. Doesn't read ANY file destination. Can't read SD card and internal storage. Also crashes when trying to backup. Also implementing ads in a pro version is just a pretty disgusting scam. Can't recommend this version at all at the moment.
Ads in Pro version! I have to Force Stop the app to get it to recognize new installs so that I can back them up. Annoyance: once I run backup it flags all with both red dot and cube and removes my checkmarks so I can't easily also run an upload to cloud. We pay for this. why are we getting a half baked app? And why hasn't Pro been maintained as frequently as the regular version? Yet I still like the backup management/install enough better than others so I persist.
Liked the app and its features, so bought the paid version and have been impressed by it for quit sometime but now even the paid version has started showing adds I mean how can this be any good ... I have paid to get rid of the ads but that's of no use 🤦♂️... fix 🔧it guys...
DO NOT BUY THIS APP! Pro version 3.1.2 started displaying ads, despite being the PRO version!! I supported the development before, buying the version without ads. But now, with this version, they do not deliver what is announced.
The app works great for backing up & reistalling archived apks, however the personal data backup & restore feature doesn't work only apps backup & restore, and purchasing the pro version is the hugest waste of money cause the paid pro version has more ads and pop ups than the free version.
I fancy the new UI however certain features from previous version is gone like ability to refresh app list on menu. Recent update brought more bugs and that pesky pop-up banner ad.
This formerly 5 star app has dropped to 1 star because the automatic backup function has stopped working. The restore function crashes the app every time as well. There are ads in a paid app is not acceptable.
Used to be great. Now the PRO version has ads and fails to restore apps that I have backed up. This is the case on all the phones I have this installed on. Useless.
Why show ads in paid version? Fantastic app and fairly priced for anyone to buy and everyone should. Backs up app when installing new one which is needed in a few cases or you spend long time searching for old version which worked... Must buy tool..
I liked the free version so i paid for the pro version to get rid of the ads only to get ads back after an update. What a joke, it clearly says pro version no ads. Thats false advertising and shouldn't be allowed. Please fix this ASAP 🤬🤬🤬!!!
Ads have been added to pro version, and they often impede use of the app as well. Completely unacceptable. Developer appears to lack ethics and any concern for paying customers.
this used to be an exceptional app. in December they released an update that reverted all the pro feature of no ads. and all of their contact information is no longer working... whoever this is should be ashamed. luckily I did not update and read reviews before I did but still that is unacceptable. this dev should not get paid
Got the pro version and it worked great until the 3.12 update, which introduced ads back (in a paid app!?) and broke the auto-backup function. Was ownership sold to some shady developer? Rolled back to ver. 3.11 thanks to this app, ironically...
like other reviewers, i paid for the pro version to get rid of ads. why do i have to put up with something i deliberately paid to have removed. I'll go back to an earlier version that i have archived.
Paid for the Pro version am now getting Ads all the time! I am not happy about that at all. Use to like the App, now am very disappointed with it. Hope the developer fixes this for everyone.
It's unconscionable that an experienced developer would put out such a slip-shotty update such as v. 3.12. It will be very interesting to hear what the explaination is. Waiting for response from the Dev. Version 3.12 is worthless! Please update to 3.13 ASAP!
Garbage. DONT BUY; you won't get a refund if it does work! GDrive integration broken. Doesn't recognize connected external disk which ia already identified by the OS.
Although is says it has, the latest update (3.1.7) has NOT fixed Google drive "unable to connect" issue for me. . I've paid for a licence for this and now it don't work !
This app is a scam! Claims no advertising if you pay, then popup ads anyway. Complained to Google, but they don't care as long as the developer is giving them their cut of the stolen money.
UPDATE ALSO IT DOESN'T RESTORE OLDER APPS BACK, FOR PEOPLE WHO DO THE SAME THING AS YOU TRIED MAKING THIS COMPLETELY POINTLESS.couldn't see what was in this update so i checked the reviews and low and behold ads, another dev who has completely disregarded the paid consumer, not updating, thank you early reviewers. Funny i always use this to backup apps just in case they pull the same trick.
Current version is annoying with ads. i purchase this because of ad-free version. Remove the ads.
Ads started appearing in Pro version. I've sent support email to developer, but address provided in Google Play isn't valid.
it says no ads!? but there are ads! and i can not use it to back up my contacts and sms like i used to beable to do on the free 1! now they are both broke!
GARBAGE. RIPOFF. The "auto-backup" never backs up anything. The currently installed app list is always out of date, no way to refresh it except to go into the "app info", clear the cache, "force stop" the app, then reopen it. And the app is not being "optimized" for battery use so it is never "put to sleep". It just doesn't work. I keep coming back to it every few months, but it hasn't work for me in years.
