Some (only a few) apps has several broadcast receivers that allows the app to restart on several events. e.g, Facebook can restart when an online event is received.

It's not freeze, but just force stop the app. When you restart the phone your app running as before.
I tried to freeze many apps and none of them do anything. They just keep running. I thought this was like Greenify which actually works and stops any app I select. No this doesn't even reset the apps that I choose to freeze, they just continue running all the time! This is a scam.
Can not freeze the latest Facebook upgrade. Fix it please if you want 5 stars.

Im using this app in a tablet Android 4.0 and its working just fine.
Very bad, won't freeze many apps, but freezes apps that are whitelisted; couldn't access settings. Beware.
best app freezing app for non rooted phones
This is the first app so far that has been able to disabled whats new whi h is a pre installed app no matter what i did it got back through so far this app works brill

All this does is take you to the system app screen, where you "force stop" the app. Does nothing to "freeze" the app, so if you want to stop a built-in app from updating (eg Microsoft Office apps) this doesn't work.
A fancy interface that just links to the system interface which you could use without this app.
Me freeze miui update and this app save my internet data.
I cant see aroom of selected apps in freezer to know this app is freeze mode,some apps say if u force stop this app an error will occur,its annoying managers help plz over the selected app room and issue of force stop,am waiting..
