Utility? I haven't found much use for this app. It fails to find the flights that I need (direct flight between capital cities on a flag carrier three weeks out:; should be easy, no?) Hotel search did return results, but searching for Hilton Hotels returned no results in New York City until I turned off that filter. Hyatt isn't a recognized brand. Other places it worked reasonably well, though I couldn't see the advantage over other apps, and any third-party booking is a MAJOR disadvantage ov
For keeping all your air and hotel travel information in one place this is the best. Also great for keeping yourself organized during a trip, easily keeping abreast of time constraints plus the little details that help a trip move just a little bit better. (Gate changes, delays & baggage claim info!) It's also fun to look back at your travel history and check out the special "stamps" the app gives you for visiting countries and certain activities like catching a red-eye. All this and more!
It imports flights from Tripit well. It does not handle other travel information from Tripit well. This makes it necessary for me to still use Tripit as my primary app for looking up my itinerary. The app is not totally useless, but this lack of reliable non-flight data gathering makes it a less than very useful app. I wonder if Tripit decides to beef up it's flight info interface, this app would be obsolete. At best, this app fills a small gap in the flight data organization.
Some features are missing, though the app works like a charm..some travellers like who travelled by ship, so adding details of countries visited by the way of sea is missing..and instead of showing countries like 8, i can only see 4 countries which i travelled through Air..Developers if you are seeing this..please add feature of adding countries through way of 🚢
*** Update*** I still am having trouble getting my Galaxy watch to connect to the app. Customer service has been working with me but no success yet. I feel like this is a known problem but it has not been addressed by the developer. I would gladly give 5 stars if that worked. I really like this app. It works great on my phone. I like having everything I need to see while traveling in one place. However I am having some difficulty getting my watch to sync with the app. Nothing I have done seems t
(Update: uploading QR boarding passes works now! TSA at DAL doesnt trust the southwest QR without it being un the Southwest app but thats a social problem) Basically a dozen or more apps in one (half of which are individual airline apps).
Really great idea for an app, but appears to be a bug in adding Qantas Frequent Flyers. The app made so many pings to my account and kept asking for 2FA and not accepting any answers that it completely blocked me from accessing my Qantas account.
not getting how to book the flights and how to check the prizes...totally confusing
This app is perfect for seeing where you've been and how many hours you've travelled. I like the map, stats page, and achievements. Those pages provide accurate detail and interesting information in a simple understandable way. I have a few issues with the app, mostly from lack of information detail, difficulty adding information, and information inaccuracy. I wish there was more detail in the countries section as well as more countries overall. Flights can duplicate. Wrong flight times.
I travel frequently and I am a very efficient traveler in every sense of the term. However, due to the government shutdown in the USA, even an efficient traveler like me (who has a backup plan in place or two) was worried about traveling. I did some research and this app came up as being recommended. Quite a catchy name for an app, I downloaded it. It has been love at first app. Easy to use, easy to update information and has made my life easier!
There are lots of flight apps out there and I have tried the one or other and deleted them for reason of disappointment until I found App in the Air which has now have been my companion for a very very long time and I don't want to miss it. Clear, streamlines, intuitive, informative, helping, simply amazing when I use it. My buddy before, when and after traveling due to all the features that I care about. The app was updated with dark mode and wow that makes the user experience even richer. Well done team.
What does App-in-the-Air do that TripIt Pro doesn't? Tried many methods of syncing data via both TripIt and email; NONE worked consistently. And don't even think about it if your travel plans change, for instance, if the airline changes your departure time. Your updates are not reflected in "App in the Air" even if your accounts are supposedly linked.. Moreover, there doesn't seem to be a way to delete and recreate just the part of your itinerary that was changed (though, thankfully, not the entire itinerary). This app has no value!
Overall a good app, wish the UI could be a bit more sleek but its not that big of a deal. But for some reason i cant sync my BA AVIOS account. I keep getting an error. The map on the profile acreen also doesnt show any of my flights to the US. I've flown there over 10 times and not one flight has been picked up. Yet it shows up in my past flights
Absolutely AWESOME App! I was a former Trip It subscriber but this gives you a lifetime for the price of one year of Trip It and they both are excellent apps. It has all of the Bells, Whistles and Lights and I can't think of anything else that I could use. My one recommendation is a simple on-line user guide for newbies that you click through to from the help screen.
Just installed, so far this is exactly what i was hoping for! I really like the flight map, and having (most of) my loyalty programs in one place, in one view is so much nicer. I hope United and American and the other hold outs get on board soon. I already barely use them because there are so many better choices available, but I still do have miles with them.
Very useful app for traveling enthusiasts with detailed statistics and achievements
This is application but unfortunatly lack to add flights with PNR number
For a frequent flyer, this app is well worth the cost for premium.
Please improve the Tripit syncing. I have App in the air installed on my IPhone and Android but I'm getting different results on both. My hotel was imported on my IPhone but it wasn't imported on my Android App in the air app. My departing and returning fights weren't imported at all so I had to manually add it to the app. Adding the boarding pass on the IPhone was very difficult and when I took a screenshot after checking in, it captured the wrong part of the screen and I was unable to edit...
It's amazing how everything is automated and placed in one place, especially Covid regulations related data. Seems to be working smoothly on Pixel 6.
this app is a God send. keep up the great prices, there are still actually people who love REAL discounts!!! thank you, thank you, thank you!
Nothing Gained - This app appears to do no more than TripIt which seems to me to be more intuitive. I'll stick with TripIt and drop this one. TripIt seems to do the same (at a better annual cost) and so there is a duplication of information and services. Nothing wrong with the app but I have all it offers alteraively.
Uninstalled in less than a minute. I do not like apps that have rankings, achievements and earning junk! I want apps that are useful and have nothing to do with competing with others. If I want that stuff, I would play games. The other features looked nice, but this app is not for me. That's why I use Google maps over Waze for example. Waze is like this app with rankings and achievements. I wish developers would stick to what the apps purpose is and not add stupid extras to it.
This is a great app. The customer service is on point, professional and quick to respond. I did not come across any issues
Now that the things are starting to open up I came back to use this app. But it turns out being a huge mistake. I switched devices and I am not able to login or to restore my LIFETIME purchase. The login issue seems to be a well known one but they just don't care. I don't recommend this app at all! You are better off writing down your flights on a spreadsheet and setting alarms using Google Calendar. What a huge waste of time I had feeding this app. Just for a safety measure I am also removing its access to my email.
