My large thumbs have difficulty with the relatively small button size (on a 4" screen). I'd like to see customization of the controller layout. It's a little uncomfortable having the "controller" on the bottom of the screen - it can make holding the phone awkward depending where your USB port is. Please give us more layouts or customization!
Would be interested in an easier/faster mapping method. Also would love a compatibility with OTG cable and 6axis dual shock controller. I know this is perhaps a big extension of the program (which functions perfectly) but this could easily allow for wireless use of a controller with multiple computers. Aside from those wants, great app. works well, Does exactly what it says. Mapping between emu and controller can be tedious. Muscle memory and using takes a bit of practice as there are no "touch" refrence points to let you know if you are pressing the "a" "b" buttons etc. Handy app and I would love to see it continue to grow and have different lay outs added.
Followed in app instructions, tried several times to connect using wifi...not sure if I'm doing something wrong but apps just shouldn't be this difficult to get working. Thanks for the effort guys...I'll check back later. Uninstall for now
I'm using this mainly for the xperia play support and love how well the app works :) the main problem is that when using the d-pad to move about the app selects the close button on the phone screen, this causes the a/x button to interact with the close button as opposed to the game on the PC. If the close button worked this would be a major problem, as it stands its just a minor annoyance on an otherwise perfect app :D
This app has succeeded in that the java application is able to start on ARM architectures. Unfortunately, this is as far as it goes. The java application seems to run fine, although I did have to manually open the browser and point to localhost. The problems start with the phone. When the connection is made the phone buzzes and stated that the connection was successful. However, when I try to use input of any kind it get 'cpnnection reset' 'connection closed.' TL;DR: connection closes with input.
Thanks for adding xperia play support aka joypad2(fisical keypad)! And the ability to assign keyboard keys mapping to it. The following things need to be addressed(and then I will be willing to pay for the app and give 5*): 1. Add ability to save a few preset key mappings. 2. The "close" button does not work. 3. I have to start Joypad1 and only after that Joypad2 for it to work. 4. The touchscreen does not work as a mouse when in Joypad2 mode. 5. Ad mouse left and right click to key mapping. Thanks
This app works flawlessly with my PC, I even tried playing call of duty with it but the only problem is it doesn't have analog buttons making it impossible for some movement controls within a game
This application is excellent, it has a broad range of uses. I can plug my computer into the telividion and play playstation games on an emulator :P the mouse pad is also very usefull for watching videos on tv through my computer, saves me getting up every time I want to change the video. Only bug I have encountered so far is the dpad on the the virtual joypad, it doesn't seem to function :/. Maybe binding to different keys will fix. Overall it's a must have app for anyone who likes to play emulator games:)
This app actually works rather well for me. Though I have only used the Joypad1 setting. Xperia Play wouldn't allow me to back out though. I used it with my wifi and everything ran very smoothly. Though a few times there were some latency issues, but I think that was more so on my router that it was the actual device.I'm giving this four stars as it is the only PC gamepad app that worked with my HTC One V with little set up and very few issues.
Brilliant! Had some of the parts I wanted on Ultimate Gamepad before I came over and tried this app out. D-pad is a little odd to work with, but the biggest issue I had was no being able to use the A and B buttons well simultaneously, but still functioned pretty well. Easy to set up also. Aside form that, this controller has been my number one in testings...
pls fix it.. badly need it . i will rate it 5 stars if the xperia play control is being mapped perfectly.. other features are working perfectly fine but only the xperia play have problem. the arrows are working but not the XOLR square and triangle.. hope u fix it asap><
This app is well worth downloading if you like to play on the move (i.e. with a laptop) To use it when a router isn't available, disable mobile data, then enable wireless hotspot mode on your phone (only on Android 2.2/2.3+), then connect your laptop to your phone's wireless hotspot and it works great. Only issues I have are: The on screen buttons are quite small, so a configuration tool would be useful (to make buttons larger/re-arrange/add more buttons) another useful feature would be to be able to swap the dpad for a virtual analogue stick tl;dr: Good app, worth downloading, buttons are a bit small and few...
Awesome app exactly what I wanted. Doesn't work for me Droid incredible. Connects but can't control anything on Windows. No games or mouse
Little bug on my Xperia play gamepad can't back , I am still used home botton because close bottom at screen can't used
perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I only wish it had more buttons, I have to keep changing to use the c buttons on n64 emulator.
This app is nice but please developer add x button , L button and analog touch pads support for xperia play. After that I will add five stars nice work :) I want to play silent hill home comming after the analog issue, had been solved :) when
This app works great! The only thing i would change is how it connects to the pc. Maybe if i plugged my phone in while running the app it could act like a usb controller. But im not sure if that would work cause the phone disables the sd card while plugged into usb. But i love it works awesomly.
all the features works, except the bluetooth and the xperia play feature wivh is the main reason that i downloaded this app.
Had potential but is broken, unfinished and no support available. Please pull it to save another person from getting false hopes of controlling pc games with their xperia play gamepad...
I just cant get over how the controller looks like it is too big for the screen. that is the only complaint.. other then that i love it!
A good start. This app needs a few key features such as: The ability to add buttons The ability to rearrange buttons Quicker response time Compatability with pc emulators such as epsxe and project64 Analog joysticks Xbox360 controller emulation to work with games for windows games.
Exactly what I needed. It would be great if u can add more layouts (nes n64 psx) and an analog stick
You are redirected to Japanese web site every time you open it. Uninstall
im on googleplay looking for a pc controller for gaming throught to windows 7. yours work just need a few more buttons including analog.
All I get is an add that pops up on the web browser
But common, how hard is it to completey explain how to use this app? Oh after that... it doesn't work! SGS2
This is actually awesome. I can now play steam and feel more gameplay.
Amazing app. Mouse to touchy. But I dont care cuz the responce on the controller works perfectly. . I do habe a suggetion .. n64 layout ..anyway .thanx so much for this app .
The page says error when I put my the ip,please fix
I decided to use it with my xperia play for a few console-type games, and I was impressed by how well it worked. It isn't flawless, though; trying to close the app after openning the controls requires me to force it, and the circle(back) button registers as the same key as the L button. Also, the X button does not have a corresponding keyboard key, rendering it useless
