The only way to get around usage access and not some stuck system done by Cricket so your device doesn't slow down. That is Cricket settings justification!! HaHa No more. I have control now. Just search for Usage access page and vuala ha haaaaaa!! Okay my friends ☮️ peace outty!!
Does not help you change permissions. At best a decent list for showing permissions. Doesnt work when I allow the permission in accessability. Also shows some permissions as allowed, when they're denied.
This is a very bare bones app, which would be fine if it didn't have a million ads. It decides all of the most common apps are risk apps just because of permissions even though they are well trusted apps, and in its list of all your apps you can review, it doesn't show itself. The one thing I wanted was to be able to search all of my apps by a specific permission, but it doesn't let you do that. All you can do is look at app permissions one at a time, which can already be easily done sans app.
Silly me for thinking this gave me control over the permissions that apps have. No it just identifies apps that have a lot of permissions and automates shutting them down, which your system can do in you know how to use it. This app may be helpful to the basically clueless.. Oh, and it wont start without internet access to download ads! Really secure that a/s
[RESOURCE Hog, OUT OF DATE, and Buggy, 050921, Av10, A505U1] so far I like this app a lot. I just don't like the fact that it is completely buggy at certain times when you load up the app and it lags a lot loading and taking a lot of resources up being very slow to operate and not accurate with its automatic features. But I see huge potential in this app in the near future. You can just blame all these issues on Samsung's latest updates.
I can't even give it a try to decide if I want to buy it because of the terrible ads. The ads make it unusable so I will NEVER buy it. Uninstall it and walk away from this garbage.
useful but omg this app is buckling under the weight of the adverts in it. it's almost every button tap or option tap leads to some advert or other and full screen ads are appearing far too regularly. That said, I like the app and would consider buying it if it proves useful over the next few weeks but the flood of advertising means I'm docking one star off what would've been a solid 4* app.
not very useful. basically i would have given it a good rating even if it only provided shortcuts to permissions. never mind whether they can be disabled it would save keystrokes and i won't criticize a dev for being unable to chage settings locked down by the manufacturer. but this app doesn't even do the basics. many system apps are missing under all apps and there is no link to the revocations and authorizations area of settings which can be accessed manually with ease. (again whether or not the app can implement changes there isn't the point) given this app is glutted with fullscreen ads at least provide us with such shortcuts.
This is an awesome app i was struggling whole time to get rid of the overlay but this app helped me alot
they only regret on rooted chinese rom phones. dont install if you've genuine issue.
Don't care for the frequency of the ad repetition at all! Good product though. Subsequent review: ads are now so large that I can't read the results of the app because there is not enough screen space available for both. This app is probably going to be removed because the value is no longer there.
For some reason, it appears to have stopped working after I packaged the ad free version. Trying to reach the developer for help.
it doesnt do what it says. .. at all. Sll it does is show "some" of the dangerous permissions and when you try to automatically apply changes it tries and fails everytime you then have to manually change your permissions choices. I can do that without the app. Sounded good i liked the idea of being able to do it fastter. Over all though the app apearance looks great and is set up for ease of use. If the developers could get this app to do what it says Ibwould definatly buy it.
pity. the sheer number of adverts at every single user interaction make this trial impossible to use. the app is beautiful but the ux is a bit agressive, it flags googles own apps! you can only whitelist apps (not specific permissions for specific apps) so if an app is ok and you mark 'keep' but later adds worse permissions this app continues to ignore them. should replace 'keep' with 'trust' and then keep them in the same risk lists but green instead of red. should notify when apps change
The concept is great. However I tried using this app with Miui 11 and it caused my whole system to become unusable. Perhaps it deserves more stars, but I didn't have the chance to to fully use it more than once and had to uninstall from recovery, because when booting to the system this app caused the screen to flash, and I could not click on anything. I tried again and same issue. I once uninstalled the app everything went back to normal. Sorry, I needed to warn peopleHonest review. Please Fix.
Expect to select multiple apps to disabe the specific permission automatically such as Telephone, and so it would make this app great! Issues: A permission of many apps such as Telephone or Microphone had already been disabled a long time ago but it reports that many apps need to be disabled. It doesn't really reflects the current active permissions of all apps. Very slow in redisplaying app list during going back from editing an app. But the app is so potential.
Ads and more ads then even more ads... also with delays on each move... impossible to even test drive it. If one bas to buy the app just to avoid the missey then then app must not be able to stand on its own merits... and if it cant do that, its not worth a cent.
App Permission Manager = < than 1 * !! 7 out of 10 options in the menu are irrelevant to the actual advertised/intended use. Every tap of a choice/option is responded with an ulterior ad... As if the advertisements in each pages were not enough.
I am giving 4 🌟 because I have to turn off and turn on the accessibility setting again for the app to work. But I expect you will make the correction. Thank you for the service. - A 90% Satisfied User.
No relation between name or what it claims to do and what it really does. The annoying ads aside, it just shows (some of the) permissions for (some of the) applications; not possible to manage whatsoever.
Full of ads. I understand developers need to make some money for their efforts. But this app runs quite a few ads even before you can get to see what it purports to do. I didn't bother to continue. Don't waste your time and data downloading this questionable app.
DOESN'T WORK!!! Installed on Android 5.0 device and it will NOT let you control individual permissions on installed apps. Only gives the option to UNINSTALL the app, FORCE STOP, or KEEP. EVERYTIME you click the back button to go to previous screen, it's booby-trapped with ADS!
UI is a little clumsy, it isn't very intuitive. Being able to group apps by perceived risk of existing permissions is a nice feature. Automatic revocation of permissions often does not succeed
I wish it explained some of the installed apps better. like what their function is & if an app has been user added it should list the date the app was added
