★★★★★ + ★★★☆☆ The ONLY App that "requires NO special permissions to run" (unbelievable!) AND has a WEBSITE of the delevoper (instead of the others nobody[at]gmail developers w/ and an unending list of permissions... FUNNY in order to show other's permissions!). BUT, for the developer: ★★ BEST IF doesn't start "Loading data..." (0-100% pretty slow) tapping on "List permissions". It is not even possible to stop it, except closing the app. Furthermore, if the display goes off, "List permissions" is unavailable and NOT in progress or completed, AND we gotta re-tap it. Sad. Thx!
Told me permissions that where not enabled where. Great for showing worse case scenarios but I wanted something that showed active permissions and not the disabled ones
Exactly what I was looking for: an app listing which apps have a specific permission (e.g. prevent device from sleeping). And doesn't require any permissions itself!
Doesn't tell me how to use the info it reports. Doesn't distinguish between safe & unsafe apps. E.g., some apps have access to the camera so I can take pictures with them. Are they dangerous?
VERY GOOD, but not what i was looking for. I wanted an app that let me montior what permissions the app were using AT THAT TIME. This is still a very useful, helpful, and needed app though.
Very first protection app. Clear of premissions. Clean of ads. Stand up with its code.
givea a nice overview. sadly doea not provide a button to the phone config to change the permissions easily
A fantastic unique feature of this app is to list all apps that have a given permission (vs an individual app and the permissions it has).
after I installed this, I had found the damn app that charged my bill which I dont even subscribe, I don't even remember when I install that damn app.
clear allhistory for ./ ni
This is a pretty neat and cool app. Shows all the permissions taken by apps on your device and even explains the consequences of that permission. Awesome app,.. now I know what all the apps that I have can do to my data..
GOOD START, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO FINISHED. NEEDS SEARCH, AND GRID VIEW AT LEAST. SO YOU GOT AN APP ON THE PLAY STORE....(VERY SLOW CLAP). HERE'S YOUR GOLD STAR, STICK IT ON YOUR FORHEAD. THIS REVIEW IS FOR ME HAVING TO SCROLL IN YOUR WORTHLESS APP.
There are many of these apps available but I find this one a lot more simpler to use than most. Straight forward and to the point, it gives you a good idea of what apps could infringe on your privacy.
Really helps to keep an eye on those permissions that could cause you trouble. Simple yet easy tuo understand. Loooov it
Quick and easy way to tell if you're apps that you have are sending personal information about you ...well tell you if apps are sending info back to the internet...
Simple and delivers the goods. I have used it for a few weeks and it has helped to guide my decisions on which apps appear too fishy and which are transparent in their approach. Highly recommended. Thank you this app. Well done.
Just very good, best app I've seen to give you a quick overview into app permissions. Real time notifications would be awesome too though!
Just needs one little thing. To be able to check as I install and or download.
None of the apps it listed as high risk are high risk. Some of the permissions are definitely necessary some not so much, but I still trust the developer's.
Normally Im extremely careful when installing non mainstream apps. This app helped me realize that WhatsApp may be mainstream but is pure evil nontheless.
Use full app but if it can detect real time data transfer like call and messages ,etc for rooted user BUT ALMOST NICE ONE
Great app. Love the ability to show all permission and then see which apps have each one. Samsung epic 4g touch with stock rooted.
Helped me imensly to remove annoying adware
Love the widget and how it works. Very organized and clean. I use this and Permission Friendly Apps together.
This is a great idea. But woefully out of date, and doesn't support modern permissions and is therefore is inaccurate. For example it states amazon relays contact data to the internet, and yet the contact permission is disabled for Amazon
