App Quarantine ROOT/FREEZE

Attention: App is not support on Android 5.0 anymore!
The ultimate tool for root users to FREEZE unwanted apps on your droid! Quickly get rid of the overrated BLOAT that is added by your phone manufacturer or network provider!

But the app is not only useful to block system apps: APP QUARANTINE is here to replace your TASK MANAGER as well. Without draining any battery you can quickly disable apps that you don't need very often and with the homescreen WIDGET you get them back in action with a fingertip.

For experienced users there are even more options like disabling system services or automatically freezing unwanted apps after flashing a new CUSTOM ROM.

If you love using this app just as much as I love developing it then let me know and give me your feedback! I'm always looking forward to receive more comments and ratings in the Market and read YOUR OPINION in my BLOG or on GOOGLE PLUS!

Attention: This app will only work on devices with ROOT access!

Amazing! I have a rooted fire HD 10, I froze every app to see what would happen, my home page has no icons! My tablet moves super fast with no lag! I turned back on task manager and my system memory is full because nothing is running! I learned that I can go back and unfreeze only the apps that I chose to use! I have full control of my tablet! I check and uncheck apps as I go along. This app will make your android experience 100% better with full speed and no pop ups or ads. Thank you!!

Such a pitty that this app is no longer maintained.... Someone should take over; I'm sure there's a few pennies to be made with it, And overall, it would be of great help to many people because this app has so much potential and usefulness. 3 stars because, yes there are bugs and unfinished things, but still VERY usefull to turn off apps that tends to live and run in the background and use your battery; safety and efficiency can't ask for more....

Is there a way to make an app force quit when I quarantine it? I would like apps to stop running when I'm done with them. I like it because it allows me to keep apps that I infrequently use locked up and not doing stupid stuff.

Intuitive and was easy to use. Helped me fix my phone by locating problem apps and uninstalling them and then reinstalling. Thank you to the developer!

Wow! Last updated in 2014. This was my go to app for locking down battery hungry apps. But, after Android 10 update widgets keep closing. UNINSTALL

I froze some apps and system apps as advanced user and it didn't not freeze selected apps it returned to enabled state. Sorry developers, but this app failed me and now I can't give you 5 stars :( -> USE TO WORK...

this dev is smart. the only app that worked on my other ics phone which actually needs freezing n all cos of less ram. one feature i wanted is to make groups and enable and disable by groups cos some apps like google play store need google play services also so have to enable both. if they were in one group could do that in one click

Very useful app. Please add folder support or a way to group /filter apps in quarantine . Right now it seems the choices are to use a single app in the widget or open the entire app quarantine app to view all my apps. It would be more useful to create groups of apps to manage. I would buy the pro version for this feature.

Great looking. But it might be better if will not reread the whole list of apps on startup and have an option to update it manually. It's boring to wait too long if you have many applications installed on your android

Hello Quarantine team, I would like to report an issue happened with my wife's mobile phone samsung S Dus, i was using for her mobile the free quarantine app, I freezed many apps and when the time came that we needed them to be unfreezed again, the process shows that it's working but when i go to check the apps in the apps menu i couldn't find them, came back to the quarantine app i found the apps still there, and again and again I kept trying and restarted the device but the app didn't work as should be. please fix this issue asap. the apps i need they're main apps on my wifes Android phone, I mean system apps mostly and I guess some other personal apps, Thanks a lot for this great app and keep it up guys you're doing great.

This app has worked great, but like others have mentioned, for some reason it has started crashing after you click unquarantine. I'm not sure if it's safe to un/reinstall the app, or if that will cause it to forget what was previously quarantined, thereby preventing me from ever unquarantining. Suggestions?

Just a problem, sometimes i freeze an app and when i want to unfreeze it ,it has dissapeared from my phone,so i have to reinstall it. It happened with shazam app, and frontline commando for example

Solid app, works well. It needs to be updated for Marshmallow. For whatever reason it doesn't freeze apps anymore, 1 app or 18 apps at the same time it doesn't matter, the loading wheel will spin forever. Please update this great app, I'm forced to use other inferior apps.

It was working fine until it got updated now it just sends me to the app menu of configuration--dumb. If it ain't broke, don't fix it dummies. I am going to uninstall it cause I can go to the conf. Menu without it

Has made disabling and freezing apps so much easier with widgets. Needs some improvement when using the main app when trying to find some other app. But overall I love it, keep up the good work.

As noted in the description, doesn't work on Android 5. (The only review for my device and current version gave 5 stars.) I really just want to stop that stupid T-Mobile app and I can't root the phone.

This application exceeded my expectations and now it has become a must have because it frees your phones from unnecessary applications that constantly run in the background. I think this application should definitely be noted as one of the best programs and a must have for a rooted phone.

My phone had become so slow I wanted to throw it out the window. This app gave it lightning speed - without having to uninstall anything! (After freezing a bunch of Samsung crap - it runs even faster than when it was new!) My best tip - freeze all shopping apps until you go to that store. They are memory hogs and privacy risks.

I use widget to setup apps that I want to use on home screen and than you can lock/unlock apps with one click from home screen. Simple as it can be.

Cannot freeze processes; this app's functionality is already native to Android

I just have to say if your phone is rooted and I highly recommend doing so because then you could use this application which is an absolute necessity. It gives you the ability to freeze programs and prevent them from running in the background and programs you don't use all the time, it absolutely saves battery life and applications like Facebook or Google Maps is definitely a battery drain spoke with this program you simply turn it off until you need Flawless and in my opinion one of the best apps out there

In fact the key feature of this app is really a simple feature that a lot apps have it (eg: titanium backup) but this app is easier to use. Widgets are good but icon can't be customized with launcher icon pack and can't be put in a folder. So instead of 1x1 widget, could you make it launcher shortcut?
