I dont know what's wrong with app. Works sometimes doesn't others. When it doesn't work only one app pandora shows on home screen, also you cant control volume and sound settings. To fix I have to uninstall and re-pair with stereo. Sony needs to update this app. When it works its good but for this the Sony will likely not be the name in stereo when I replace because of these issues.
Not working and never did . It works fine for the first time you connect to your stereo. , I get out of the car when I get back in the app doesn't work anymore , i can still play music from my phone trough Bluetooth. but the app is ñot connected ?
Sort the app out its full of glitches!!!! Crashes with my samsung s8 conecting to sony car stereo... cant add spotify to it as when scrolling through my apps it crashes and closes everytime i get to my apps starting with "M" so can never even make it to the "S" to add spotify. Sometimes it links to my car stereo other times it just wont regardless of what i try and do... really disappointed as the sony head unit i have really relies on this app for functioning.... your looking silly SONY!!!
My samsung phone records this app crashing alot..and when you try to exit outve it it won't close,which if you try to Clear any open background screens most the time it won't close which in turn makes your phone use more battery power. And sometimes I have to re pair my phone with the radio.more trouble than its worth
The app response is very faulty, it is difficult to pair and functions when it wants to. When I had the sony xperia I didn't have this problems but any other phone will have a lot of problems. Wish they would update this app as it controls my car stereo.
Disables keyboard use across my entire phone, even when the app isn't active. Pressing quit in the app doesn't shut it down, it just runs in the background, you have to go into the apps settings in Android and force stop it. BT Audio input isn't even an option on the app screen (I wanted to adjust equalizer settings); if you're streaming music to the head unit via BT, then connect the app, the app will display a random input and disables the ability to select BT audio from the head unit sources
Just downloaded app on Samsung S10+ and accepted all permissions and it crashes as soon as you attempt to open the app even after restarting phone and uninstalling and re-installing. Disappointed.
This app is brilliant but you must read the instructions for the App and head unit very carefully , i use a sony XSP N1BT HEAD UNIT which is to be honest when using a Compatible phone absolutely faultless the head unit is fantastic especially when linked to an AMPLIFIER , the app is as i say brilliant but all parts must be fully compatible . I own a 2004 Audi with BOSE PREMIUM AUIO SYSTEM its really good ,but with this app and head unit its truly fantastic .
The app just opens and tells you all the features it can do but there is no options menu to actually connect the app to the head unit. Completely useless.
When it works, it's fine. But it decides to loose connection with the app. The Bluetooth stays on, but the phone loses connection with the app.
Requests invasive permissions (all media and photo access to run a remote?) and then just crashes whenever I try to start it anyway, so what's the point?
Shouldn't be giving it any stars.. I have been using Sony phones for long and this app worked brilliantly on the earlier phones. Unfortunately it is not uite compatible with the newer phones and the app needs an update. Sony pls let us have an update so that we can use it with the newer phone models..
App works great with my Motorola cell. All functions work and connects automatically. Only problem is the app won't close at all. It pulls added juice from my cell battery.
I do t think this really want to connect to anything? App just don't make sense, why would you want to connect all your other apps - like banking apps to your radio, and there is no place to connect on the app.. And this is definitely not build by Sony like they would like you to believe.
Unable to use app. After installation and granting all permissions, app crashes and shuts down. This is a joke that such a giant company can not provide such basic app.
The app was perfect two years ago. App crashes everytime it connects. Crashed on my note 8 and crashes more on my note 9 now. Very bad app now

SONY audio App I use it for my tab that works Iike a menu for Floating display. Neat interface that gives customizing option that works like a proper factory fit display.
this apps a total piece of garbage now. sad guess ill buy a different radio and throw this one in the trash since this was the only reason i bought the radio to begin with. that didnt last long did it sony
Badly needs updating app doesn't even recognise you're connected to the stereo so the app and the stereo and are useless please don't make us wait for another 4 years an update
Doesn't bring to any other screen. Just stuck on the very first display of showing what/how to use it. Garbage.
Needs to access all your files, media files, camera files, audio files and needs complete control to update as needed. Wow Sounds like Epsteins kinda app I got kids no thanks.

One that works it's great but it loses connection with a stereo all the time and now Pandora crashes it

I used to use this app a lot. Now just crashes. Will not install on new Pixel 6
mex-n5100bt After the update, this program stopped working correctly. Everything is connected via bluetooth, the program opens, but the functions of the radio, USB, AUX, CD, Tuner are not displayed on the screen ......There is no synchronization of functions on the screen. . Everything worked with the old version, but you messed it up and broke it. It only got worse.
