App Vault

Third category app. What type of security is that if you forgot the password then you have to wipe your phone. I had my fingerprint scan on and was using applock using fingerprint. I set the password a year ago and now forgot it as i was not using it due to Fingerprint scan. Now suddenly fingerprint scan option is not available is applock. Now applock ask me to wipe the phone. Atelast there should be some mechanism to reset the password using email or sim message dual authentication etc.

My app vault has been completely replaced with Google Assistant. The app itself still shows as installed with no option to launch it. Even in settings the "Enable App vault" option has been replaced. How do i reinstate App Vault? My device is Redmi 9T

App Vault in homepage has got totally zoomed. All the photos and text are completely zoomed. Because of that iam not able to read the text completely and images are showing oversized. Please fix this.

Well Xiaomi as been said pull your app vault ver. 13 update for global devices so we can use modern widgets otherwise the only reason for some ppl use app vault is step counter force locked to it and everybody realize this.

This app is an useful app when it comes to shortcut for apps that we are using them frequently but it's pretty buggy too and it has bunch of lags. Please fix the known bugs then it's good to go. Thanks for reading this comment.

Swiping to left lags if you're using a mid-range phone. Animations are ok, but it isn't well optimized

Update: App Vault is good. I just want to remove part of app vault where it recommends some apps & games. That is of no use for me.i want to remove that section alone in app vault. How to remove recommended in MIUI 13 app vault. I do not see any option to remove it and it is so annoying to see those apps.

The app vault is constantly crashing on my Redmi note 7 device. I have lot of data in this app it is not reinstalling in my phone please help me icon n ot show in home screen.

Not good, full of ads, and even if you disable app Vault, it still run in the background and consumes battery and memory. Update: thanks! first, if you wish someone a good day, don't use the exclamation mark at the end of the sentence. Second: the ads, example: when you try to read the news, the app will force you to you the Xiaomi browser which I don't want to use,then after opening the page you still see the ads, even though the browser claims the opposite.

Happy with app. Found that the 'Step Counter' is great - cannot understand why it's not on all Xiaomi phones; eg the 'Xiaomi 11 lite' has it loaded but cannot be accessed. Strange as when there is an update it shows up a available, it can be updated but no shortcut is available - pity!

I have the EU Rom and i already installed app vault, but there isn't any button s about app vault on my homescreen settings Please tell me how to fix it, i really need app vault on my phone.

After reply again: We want to use App vault not Google Discover. Google Discover is no fun. Only the Articles/Stories there to read. We want a smart assistant. All the big brands have a smart assistant at the left side of screen which has features like built in steps counter, calendar, reminders, quick apps, frequent contacts. And what we get is just stories by Google Discover??? That's highly disappointing!

App vault is greate. But xiaomi is not providing system updates in india,due to that my device is lagging, my device is redmi note 8. Please provide update as for 9-10 months no update.

App Vault By Xiaomi Inc is very bad and annoying and makes the battery wasteful and the device hot even though it's been uninstalled and disabled apps, keep it updated and active again

Keeps on crashing and enlarging it's own size by itself... Just insane... Optimize it so tht it doesn't crashes n enlarges itself

I even tried tutorials, but the "app vault" doesn't exist anywhere, i cannot get widgets, miui 13 is the same just android version has been changed

Those widgets are useless before & after the update. Xiaomi Inc keep an eye on them Widgets are not working.

I am again facing the same issue and unable to uninstall this app. Please help

This app was pre-installed and I loved it. Especially the fact that you can see what things you have planned for your calendar with just one swipe. But Suddenly the news section was not removable and contained articles in a language I do not speak. Very annoying, so annoying in fact. That I'm deleting this app. Don't install it, find something else

**Update Dec. 24th**: very kind of Xiaomi to answer to my review, but it doesn't fix the issue. I stand by my last review: it doesn't do anything good in my phone, but slows everything and consumes resources. It's bloatware and I don't want it. Thanks. It slows my phone, it has unauthorised access to my personal information and cannot be uninstalled. It's a nightmare.

Utterly useless. U can't even customize it as per ur needs. Edit 1: Thanks for responding. Here are some suggestions if u guys are really serious about improving it. It's an ease of access kind of app, so let it work like a collection of widgets. Users should be able to choose any application from the phone and order its position accordingly. And please don't push any fixed and/or redundant news feed into it.

Useful, but some apps can't be shortcutted. For example I want able to find regular calculator, but have gone scientific one. When Google search was transferred from the top of the screen to the bottom, I wasn't sure how I feel about it, but got used eventually. From logic perspective it's more convenient.

Love the look, would be nice to have few more options to customize the look, f.e to choose the browser for a search panel (preset mi browser, I'm using Opera). Or integration of a Google calendar instead of mi calendar. For now I have to keep both for convenience, but prefer to have all at one place. Otherwise it's a great app, simple, convenient, never crashed on my device :)

The worst app possible, I don't know who in the right mind would give this five stars. It can't be uninstalled, it's so buggy it's impossible for the developers not to notice the bugs and yet they won'tt fix them and all they do is ask what the problem is. Just respect the users enough to give them an option to delete this junk of an app
