I created Appalachian Trail Weather over a weekend half way through my thru-hike in 2011 while visiting family. It proved to work well back in 2011 and several 2012 thru-hikers found success as well.
Good luck to all NOBO and SOBO 2018 hikers as well as section hikers this year.
I'll be doing trail magic around Front Royal and the Roller Coaster this year.

Only NOBO mileage the app looks greats, but would love to see the option to switch to SOBO.

Would be 5* if tracked by actual date instead of just day of week. Also, does not match usual weather forecasts of 10 days.

Mile markers for New Hampsire can be off by over 10 miles. Do the mileage markers ever get updated? Missing Liberty Springs Campsite.

This app is an amazing asset
I'm preparing for a week long trek on the AT and have been scouring weather sites and apps for accurate forecasts. Ran across this app and I do believe my search is over. The idea alone is brilliant. The interface is simple and from what I can tell, the developer has taken great care to pay attention to the details that a hiker needs to be concerned with while using an app on the the trail. I'll be using this for sure on my near future excursion. Thanks so much for this app!!

Just keeps getting better. Probably the best app I have on my phone, if there ever is any problem it is taken care of really fast. well designed, small footprint in memory, works excellently.
To get new version you have to uninstall and reinstall! Weather data cannot be obtained until you do that.
Love the app & the updated format. I do have a question though: are the shown temperatures reflecting what they are at the higher evaluations of shelters like old version did or are these listed temps for the nearest weather stations at lower elevations?
