Terrible! Constantly freezing my phone as it searches for suggestions that I don't want or need! I cant get rid of it, it pops right back up. I'm going to make sure it's NEVER pre-installed on another phone I get again. Oddly, it didn't show up as an ad covering 1/4 of my homepage till recently. At the very same time I'm also getting ads that pop up whenever I'm using the internet. There is no way to get out of those. No X. Just have to click the back button which also clears the page I was on.

Useless bloatware. Cannot uninstall or disable without root. I keep this app downgraded to the lowest possible update and forbid it from running in the background. I used it once before, all it does is recommend apps based on the apps you've already downloaded, a service that the play store already provides. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

Since this app's last update, my phone's battery has been draining like crazy. The drain started right after the app updated. It may be coincidence but I think not. I have tried all the standard remedies without success. I never use the app either.

Was spamming me gambling apps, 'til I turned off its default of notifications. No matter how many times a day I turn it off, it reactivates like a virus. My ZTE won't let me uninstall, and the O/S won't even let me root it out. ............................................. Update; 3 years later, figured out how to delete it; .................................... "adb shell" ..................................................... "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.apptap.appfinder.tracfone" .................... (look it up for yourself)

I agree with everyone else who wrote a 1 star review with this app. It's not good at all, and could potentially have malicious apps in it! Just redirects you to the play store when you click on an app. Wish I could uninstall it. Since I have a ZTE Jasper (Tracfone), it's preinstalled. For anyone who needs the file name to delete it: com.apptap.appfinder.tracfone Update: Submitted it as innapropriate: harmful to device and data. Another update: Strip it of permissions with Malwarebytes!

This is a terrible app that installed itself to my phone without my permission, offered absolutely no relevant services whatsoever, screwed up the organization of my phones apps, has completely wasted 44KB of my phones storage, is filled to the brim with obnoxious ads, consistently goes behind my back trying to do things in my phones background, and can not be uninstalled no matter how hard I try. To make a long story short this app is shady, scummy, and a total scam.

Lousy app that I didn't install, I don't want, nor do I have any use for, but there's no way to get rid of it. I get daily alerts to uninstall it because it is draining both battery and data, and slowing down the system and apps that I actually want to use. I've "uninstalled" this 5 times and it's still in my device.

No ability to uninstall or even disable this so called app. This is spamware/spyware. It never asked for permissions or gave terms of use, and privacy policy. It records what you do and then they sell that information to developers. Now this spyware is able to update itself and change settings even when denied all permissions and flagged to not update. Never install anything from this developer or anyone associated with them.

Redundant useless app. Looks like a marketing ploy to advertise for business worse than the app itself. I have called the AppTap office and emailed the entity with no response. I understand some apps are necessary providing background services/subroutines for other apps/services but this app serves no purpose other than invasion of my device. Not happy and don't understand how something like this is prominent enough to make it to distribution.

I can't stand redundant pre-installed apps that Google Play won't allow me to uninstall and eat up my very limited storage space! I don't need an app to help me find apps that simply connect me right back to the Play Store when I am perfectly competent enough to find them in Google Play myself! This app is useless to me and I wish they'd remove it!

I REALLY HATE this app!!! If I could give a minus rating it would be -100! It pops up in the middle of whatever you're doing! If I want to dowload an app I will do the one I want when I want! & you can't get rid of this piece of s_ _t!!! If you try to delete a msg pops up that other apps may "act up"!?!?! I'm ready to delete it anyway & take my chances!!!

If I could give this no stars, I would. No one uses this app! It's a useless waste of space. All it does is eat up memory, space, and data. And before anyone says it's not that much... IT SHOULDN'T MATTER HOW MUCH. We shouldn't be forced to have this on the phones that we paid for using the data that we pay for! Look at the reviews and how much we loathe this app, makers. GTFO of my phone!

I hate this app it's constantly running in the background. I wish I had the choice whether to keep the app or remove it but as it is part of bloatware forced upon me by my service provider and this app's manufacturer I will give it to lowest rating of one star the only reason it right someone stars because it apparently works. let's be honest the only apps this app finder phones are the ones that paid them to be listed. Hate the app wish I could uninstall it.

Once you add services by a provider when it expires so do the apps it doesn't update after using apps on wifi the memory on the device fills up, nothing wants to update especially if using apps on a wifi No apps updated when resuming use of the network eg Tracfone. This app was a pre installed so it has no uninstall option but don't work after adding back data plan even the TracFone apps eg. My account & My downloader all deserve a 3 rating the apps need more flexibility for users on WiFi!

Wastes much screen space. Don't know where it came from. Glad to get rid of it. Phone is again fussing about lack of space, but gives no hint how to fix the "problem" even though this phone has a nearly-empty 16 gb sd card. This means the phone I 8will soon quit working again.

Sucks up memory and drains my battery. Cannot be uninstalled. I have flagged it as inappropriate and requested it be investigated for that reason. If I try to disable it, I get a message saying that will affect the functionality of other apps and my phone. Why? What did the developer do to make this so? Do not install this app!

It's useless, especially since there's already the google play store. As a matter of fact it's pretty much a glorified useless rip off of the google play store. You want to know what would make this app better? Allowing us to uninstall it to free up space on our smartphones for other apps we like that are suggested by the google play store.

This over heats my phone makes it run slow and keeps taking my RAM. It's always running even after disabling and force stopping. I want it gone! Hello Mr developer please give me the code to remove this from my phone. Should be able to ADB this app off of here some how!! Remove this junk everyone! It serves no purpose but slow your phone so you have to buy a new one!!!!

Don't want it but can't get rid of it! It seems to have come with the phone and I never download apps other than the two I use regularly. It just wastes space that I could utilize otherwise. I really don't like apps that don't allow you to choose whether or not to keep.

This is the biggest data using apo on the planet. It installed a over lay on my phone that follows every thing I do. It is in everything I do every screen every page and every app . Its like a monster .as soon as I figure out how to delete it. It is gone . I have had it with the monster app finder .its pure junk .

This app is hogging my data & memory even after I put "no permissions" "no background" "force stop". Cannot uninstall it. It says it's been there since December 20, 2020 but I got this phone 4/5 years ago. I guess it helps you find apps; I know how to use "🔎 search". Another review mentioned something about spyware; what are you going to catch me doing on a phone w/only WiFi no service if de only thing that works is de AF I can't do anything. May guess this app was launched by substance abusers

I don't like this app at all because it's too big, taking up my memory and it's annoying it's a horrible app! If you make it better then I will give you five stars. It's also hogging my data & Memory. I forced stopped it I cleared data and cache and I blocked notifications and cannot uninstall it's been there since December 30th. SMS and insufficients the space for opening gallery and stops from me opening google photos. Even the messesaging app does the same thing.

More bloatware that came with android update. Thank goodness this is one of 3 that I can uninstall. As for the other 5, still working on just keeping them disabled. Just live the way 80% of my phones settings changed with the update

I gave this app 2 stars, instead of only 1, because 'hate' is such a strong verb to use in this instance. I have zero use for this app, thus I would like the ability to uninstall this app, but that is NOT an option. Please explain WHY uninstalling this app is not an option. I have scrolled through almost the entire list of reviews and have not seen even ONE reply from the developer of this app to anyone's questions or requests for information.

It's one of the aps I can't get off the phone. I use wifi rather than using up a lot of data but this one just uses it on its own. Google also does this. They probably do it to spy so they are using our data to pay for someone advertising to us based on search history. Quite the scam they have going

I've read the comments. But funny thing: I 'removed it.' How? Well, I went to check my storage, seeing if I could do anything to remove this. For some reason, it wasn't there. I checked everything. It isn't actually on your phone, it just shows up on Google play as if it's a glitch. I remember a few months ago I forced stopped my app finder, thinking they could be connected. Idk what else to say, but I'm just happy this is my old phone.

I hate this App!!! Why can't I uninstall the dam thing? Why do you force us to have these on our phones when we don't want it? It's NOT user friendly at all!!! I try to add widgets to my home screens and all it says is "problems loading your widgets"...now everytime I look at my phone, I see that dam message on my home screen....I HATE THIS APP!!

I know you said the app Apple. Almost constantly randomly open pop up I couldn't even go into my messages on my phone without having to spend 30 seconds watching some kind of video of some sort because of this app

it put so many ads on my phone it crasged evsry fee minutes until i used a 3rd party app to block and uninstall it i recommend easy uninstaller for any factory apps you dont need/want it should get rid of them unless they are downloaded to the sim card the only ones it cant get rid of are apps with a virus or any malware in which case its factory reset time i got rid of this apo because my phne crashed a lot

You may not be able to delete this utter waste of space. But you can set it in your settings to not use data, and not use memory. And on Google play you can set this app to not auto update. I personally have your unwanted, useless app as disabled as possible without being able to actually disable it.
