Starting yesterday I can no longer upload inspections through the app. When I click "new inspection" it goes to a new screen with some "offline inspection" with new choices and an error message about restarting the app, and loaded pictures don't go anywhere. The app was great and I use it every day for work in the field. Please fix the new inspection function on the app.
I love that there is an app. It makes uploading inspection pictures so much easier!! I've been out on property and tenants would come up to ask questions and I can just whip out my phone and answer them real fast. Or if we are driving around the property and see something that we need to reach out to the tenant about, we can just send them a text right then and there. I love it!
When it works that is good. However like all things appfolio, when it doesn't Google is probably a better solution than customer service.
As a contractor for a property mgmt. company, This app is very unuser friendly because, you have to sign in wich it does not allow you to do. Says there is no account associated with this email (yes it is). I do like that you can recieve and invoice work order all in one place. On the web you have to go through too many steps to see the notes, invoices, and or multiple work order contents. Very time consuming. This app has a lot of potential. Hopefully the right improvements will be made
Unfortunately this app is not what it's chalked up to be. May be good for the property management. Not good for the customers. I can only log in through the browser . They have unauthorized use to my account but just takes what they want. This the second month and the issue have not been resolved.
App is terrible a lot of bugs, almost useless
Could be a really handy app if it didnt make inspections take 4x longer just to attach photos. Please add the option to sync photos later from wifi. This app is unusably slow on cell service and I wouldnt touch it with a hasmat suit on if I didnt have to.
It does not allow to create an account. You just have to log in into an account that you cannot open. It askes for a database, that has not been provided by app or property manager. It does not have any info about anything. Just the login interface. I'm going to uninstall it.
Very nice app makes it easy to perform functions in AppFolio on the go from my phone or tablet. Would give it 5 stars if it also produced notifications of new or updated requests and text messages, like what appear on my computer screen when I am at my desk.
touchy, weird and so chaotically designed. things that should function similarly don't, lines of text that overlap and the app doesn't recognize the same desktop I always use. 2 stars because I feel bad for the devs, they clearly had no love for this project. previous review was 2 stars dropped down to 1 because app says there is new messages when there is none, wasting my time frequently while I'm at work. there is no worse app that I am aware of
This "app" is just a browser, I know this because the interface is the same as what I see in Chrome on my mobile device. The point of using an app over a mobile site is to save time and data otherwise spent loading identical website resources ad nauseum. Just load the site in your mobile browser of choice over installing this.
I used to have zero issues with this app, but after the last update, no pictures will upload in inspections. It causes so many things to be slowed down and more headaches than what it's worth.
The app was great, unfortunately with this most recent update it jumps from being in easy to read and use app mode to being on full screen desktop mode making it difficult to use. Again it's not on every page
Great, except not able to open supported links. Get a work order, or a link to a report, clicking on the email link guides you to login via chrome/safari using text security code. Then it loads appfolio within the browser. Why can't the app just open the links to the emails that it itself is sending to me? This severely hobbles mobile use for maintenance supervision.
This app has worked well until recently. Pictures won't load. Upon opening it says it was made for an older version of android. Sent an email, with screenshots. Hopefully it's an easy patch.
Horrible app, horrible company, their customer service is awful they constantly raise prices and get worse as a company.
Great app for mobile very close to the PC version. I have tried a few different software options for property management. I have not found a perfect one yet. This is the best one I have tried.
I have multi properties managed via AopFokio but the app doesn't allow me to specify the property manager portal subdomain. This makes the app I useable as each account is independent but use the same email address and different passwords.
Not sure why i can no longer see tenant or owner attachments, after using the app ffor over 2 years? also, it is only showing my guest cards through a certain date 12/08/18 and yes I am using a current date. Why does it not pull guest cards up for current date? I have to go back and refresh every single time
Very useful software. Has a few things that are less than desirable, like just quits working mid inspection. Overall great!
Customer service is horrible. They do not care about their clients. All they care about is what is best for them and signing on new people. They barley help you with anything and make everything very difficult and cumbersome. Setting up a call with them is like pulling teeth and when you finally do get them on the phone they act as if they are doing you a favor just by answering. Horrible, just horrible company.
Tried to sign my lease. Made an error and there is NO way to backspace or correct the error on the app. If you put the wrong information in good luck trying to fix it.
I heard the app was good but it doesn't seem to work for me because it's confusing. It's not clear if it's directed to residential or Commercial, and most people do not want to pay to pay the rent
I can't login to the virtual tours through my calendar using the app, I have to do it on the website:( besides that I love it.
Was great when I only had technician access. with all the permissions opened up it's absolutely horrible to try to do anything from a mobile device. I HATE IT
When doing inspections the app constantly crashes or sometimes the camera button just does not take a photo and then I have to refresh the app 1 or two times
New update now sends me push notifications for text messages. Would like to disable this. I get too many notifications as it is.
Everytime I try and open it I get a black screen after log in. I have to uninstall and reinstall to make it open up completly.
I work for a property management company and this app constantly crashes, won't load photos unless I do it from a file, if I try to take a photo and load it while in the app it just restarts the entire app and the photo does not load and waste tons of my time etc.
