You must have password to uninstall this app lock, if you forgot passcode you can reset it via security email.

It is the best applock I have ever tried. It even protects the settings menu and prevents uninstall ! If anyone checks my phone, they will find nothing ! :) If I have to insist any improvements that will the deleting sign if you press it just once it will delete the whole thing. It would be super convenient if do it so that if tapped once it will delete one character/letter/number and if long pressed it will delete it whole. Keep up the good work guys :)
Love this app. Its secure, plus the ability to change screens is very nice. Gives you several options to choose from to secure lock your information. Only request would be to be able to pay to cancel adds. They don't interfere with the function of the app at all, its just my preference. Keep up the good work developers.
Still very problematic - ads block the bottom navigation bar in direct violation of Google rules. It doesn't lock settings. And ever so often it will just stop working, ie apps open without the lock screen. And of course, it's s.l.o.w.
Great app with a lot of useful features and totaly secured. The only one annoying thing is that you can't open the photos from the most recent till old. you always have to scroll down all your photos to be able to find what you need.
Out of about 8 app locking apps that I've tried this is the best one from functionality and behavior point of view. But I hate that it's so colorful. I'd like a monochrome theme or a theme with very few colors, with professional look. Otherwise it's a great app!
Its easy to use and does what it says. I have 1 complaint. Sometimes I'll be playing a game or something for a extended period. When I go to something else the icon disappears from the status bar at the top. Which makes me feel uncomfortable that the app Isn't working. So I click on the applock icon and soon as the app starts up the icon comes back on the status bar. Is that normal and I shouldn't worry about it??
Not happy with the functioning of the app. Instead of showing the pattern page it shows glimpse of the app and then shows the pattern lock. So any user can see what is inside the app it doesn't serve the purpose.
I really like the UI of this app, feels great, easy to use, and only for locking apps, no unnecessary extra stuff. Some BIG issues tho that defeat the purpose of having this app- It shows Settings as locked, but doesn't prompt for a pw when it's opened, and doesn't actually stop uninstallation of this app. Also, someone can pull up a locked app, and w/o entering pw, can swipe up for recent app list, and the lock screen disappears, allowing person to see contents of the app (notes, pics)! Great app good work very nice!!! Just for my own personal experiance and way, i just cant keep entering whatever passcode it is ever little time i hope out and back into an app!!!! I know there are settings and all that but then id turn them all off and whays the point of the app if i dont use it, maybe on my other device for sure but not others. NO HARD FEELINGS DEVELOPERS!!!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Doesn't work with my stock PIE (9.0). Update: stock Pie has something called DuraSpeed in which you must allow apps to run in the background. After I activated Applock to run in the background, it functions perfectly. I'm surprised that I never heard from the developer about this. This is why 4 stars and not 5.
Excellent app. It is simplicity itself and I have found no other that matches its performance. Further notice: I hate the banner ads and would pay to have them removed. Since that option is not included even in the premium version I will be uninstalling soon.
Ads are placed near the home and gesture buttons, which have also become difficult to use if you like to use the home button or gestures to switch between apps. I've found other apps that provide a much smoother experience when changing apps that provide more customization.
Great app and love the fact you can use your fingerprint for fast access, but when I lock settings i can still access it without having to get permission which is a bit worrisome since you can do ALOT with settings. Please fix otherwise great app.
Great tool that helped keep my information safe while my phone was being repaired for battery swelling recently. I would have preferred that the lock screen not allow a quick initial peek at each app first, but overall I'm happy for this free, reliable app. Thank you!
Everything works fine... However settings WILL NOT LOCK so it defeats the WHOLE purpose of the app. I have android 10 on my moto g7 power and it locks settings fine. However lg stylo 6 it WILL NOT LOCK SETTINGS, it pops up for half a second and diserpears so its not android 10 update. Maybe its LG software[doesn't allow anything to overlay the settings apps] or u need to add support for this phone. Im tech savvy and it just wont lock the settings app.... Other apps won't lock the settings too.
Very convenient and helpful keeping my phone secured. The only thing I wish it had was lock convience in order to turn off passwords when connected to my home wifi, other than that it's still a great app and does as it's meant to.
This app is awful. Just like all these locker apps, just tapping on an android system notification and changing a setting from the notification will turn off the app lock. Rediculously flawed and easily stopped. Definitely would not recommend.
I've used this app over a year. Absolutely good quality. Its free but the ads don't drive you nuts. Main the option of numbers or pattern. I prefer pattern far easier to remember.
When viewing the locked app(s), this app takes seconds of inactivity before overlapping my personal material, to the extent that everyone would have been seen my personal items. Please make it overlap as soon as the locked app(s) being wiewed, then i will recommend it and give it five stars! Thanks for the work done so far!
It does everything I imagined it would. The ads some folks complained about appear in a minuscule portion of the lock screen so it's quite okay. Great app. Highly recommended.
Worked ok until OS update to Android 10. After update this app stopped locking certain apps, settings being one. Sent "support" a detailed message TWICE! They never replied. I guess Vietnam is too far away for message to travel. Or perhaps THERE IS NO SUPPORT. Will uninstall and find an app lock with prompt customer support. ONE STAR FOR LACKING ANY SUPPORT! Simple and good app. But since the latest android 10 update it is not able to lock the settings. This is dangerous cause others will be able to access the settings and deactivate and uninstall the app thereby rendering all apps open. Please fix this.
There would be times where I would have to enter my pin 2 or 3 times before the app would open. Additionally, if I had to reboot my phone the primary apps would become unlocked forcing me to relock them manually. I sent 5 emails and I did not receive a single reply.
The email password recovery option didn't work - "Please try again". What do you do if you're locked out of an app that's important to you and the AppLock prevents you from recovering the password? Had to uninstall, thank goodness I didn't enable the 'prevent app uninstall' feature, else I'd be totally stuck. And the reason we had to recover the password is because it wasn't recognizing the password we entered. Crazy.
Had to change rating. App doesn't work sometimes especially with messenger. When I try to open a locked app I can see the screen updated with new messages. So it doesn't give me full privacy. Sorry but I will look for another one.
best app for protecting your privacy. I recommend that the intruder selfie get an upgrade and it now take a live photo. I just think that it would be better to make the application user more aware of the situation during which the possible breach was attempted . also I believe, that their should be more options as the lock type. great app though and sorry I talked about the negatives so much. the positivity and security that this app provides is amazing. thank you guys for this amazing app.
It works I guess. It is very delayed on locking my apps. I will go into my apps, and then a second later the lock screen pops up after it shows me the first screen of the app. It also opens a new tab every time I open an app that is locked, which is annoying. And it makes my home and back buttons disappear, and if I try to get out of the screen, instead I go to the app store because they conveniently placed the ad right by where my buttons were. I'm uninstalling this right after I finish this.
