To make app working on fingerprint password, you must setup your fingerprint lock first on phone settings. When this is ON, the fingerprint lock screen will be enabled at unlock screen, otherwise it requires pattern or password for lock screen instead.

You need to lock at least these apps: Settings & Google Play to prevent someone uninstall the app lock app
2. How to change password ?
To password for apps, open the AppLock, click menu Settings then chose Change password
3. How to stop or uninstalling AppLock ?
You must have password to uninstall this smart app lock, if you forgot passcode you can reset it via security email.
4. I Forgot password, how to find it ?
Enter your security email then click 'reset password'.
5. If i lose private pictures when uninstall app:

Works well. There are some improvements I want, but most of those can probably only be done by change in Android. For example. I dislike the brief Flash of app before going to applock screen. Also I don't like how you can still see recent apps. I find this was slow on older phones but is fast on my s8. One simple improvement I'd like is a plane applock screen, solid black for night mode. Anyhow, I got this app to keep kid out of some stuff, but still in other stuff. It does job well.
I like it. But it's not without problems. One being the navigation buttons are gone after unlocking. I'm forced to pull the notification bar down to make it show. The other is the same problem others have: sometimes the locking only kicks in after navigating the locked app for awhile.
The title is misleading, the app is glitchy and annoying. If you leave the app running sometimes it doesn't engage the lock. Also it randomly locks at weird times. (Ex. I click on a photo in Discord to download it and it wants me to unlock Discord again. I click the back button to exit out of photo viewing mode, it wants me to unlock Discord.)
Well, my rating doesn't reflect the app functionality so much since this specific aspect does warrant a higher rating, however, the current rating is more the result of the extremely crappy translation attempt made to localize this app into Danish. Whomever conducted translation work on this app should find something else to do. Quirky and incorrect Danish texts simply draws the user's focus away from the important aspects of this actually very nice app. As long as there're no alternative outputs from anyone else than the person currently doing DA localization on this app, Danish as a choice of language should be dropped altogether. The outputs seen in the app are almost all clear cut examples of using machine translation services without the necessary understanding of neither the input or output language intricacies. If a better DA localization is provide a some point, I'll be happy to review this app again. The result will undoubtedly an improved overall rating.
works as it says. locks an app. however, it does not really fully secure apps from a sneaky eyes. example: lock your messaging or any text message app. now open, it will for a fraction of a sec will show your contents. now exit, dont need unlock it. then click your switcher button beside home button, now you will see all inside the messages without unlocking. i have tried other apps, but all same. none i found really perfect. but, i am hoping developer of this app can fix this.
Works great! You can easily scroll through a list of all system apps & downloaded apps, then you pick and choose which ever apps you want to lock. (with a pattern password or a PIN number) Very easy to use! Whether you lock these apps for personal security/privacy or as a parental control tactic on your kids, it's an excellent tool.
When I open WhatsApp after unlocking with AppLock fingerprint the soft buttons disappear. I am unable to come back to the home screen. It only appears after interact with the app. Please look into this ASAP. Otherwise this app offers a lag free performance!
Horrible app. It'll lockdown your apps & photos but when you need to remove pics/videos from the vault you still cant view them. If an app encrypts files, it should also decrypt them!!!! Now I have to purchase software to use on a computer to restore my media files which is total BS. Idk why the word fingerprint is in the title because it never works! Blacklisting this developer immediately. Wish I could rate -100 stars! Worse app ever!
DO NOT BUY OR INSTALL!! only works a small percentage of the time, you mostly have to enter your password because it does not consistently register your fingerprint. even tries to register fingerprint (and prompts you as it being incorrect every time) when u return to home screen. sent email to creator. no reply. i PAID for this app so i did not have to have CM security on my phone any longer. not worth the $ until all glitches are fixed. going back to invasive CM security. at least it works!
There is a bug in this app. When I unlock the locked app using fingerprint, it does not show the virtual buttons. I need to pull down the notification everytime to see the buttons. Please fix this. I am rating low so that you would come to know about the bug
App lock does not stay locked when the app lock switch is turned off, this shouldn't be so, for the sake of gallery vault. There is also a problem in the gallery vault; moved in videos can't be moved out.
Firstly, Doesn't unlock app with fingerprint. Secondly, set the settings app to lock (apparently coz applock says it will protect against unauthorized uninstall of this or other apps) but guess what, you can directly uninstall this app without asking for fingerprint or pattern, so the whole purpose of protecting the apps is defeated. Total fail.
Two problems and brought this yesterday. Back button disappears after unlocking an app, which is really annoying. also the lock screen didn't appear this morning I had to reopen this applock app for it to start working. Please fix these issues.
Very good locking app. The only downside is that it prompts every single time. It could have a timer for the lock to activate.
Defective! Very slow in response. Most of the times, the apps close when I try to open them through my fingerprint.
It's draining my battery! It won't stop running. Sometimes I can open a locked app for about 10sec. before it will close and lock.
I have been a user of this app for past 1 year but recently I couldn't move any if the files to vault, it says move to vault failed. Please fix this issue.
This app is unnecessary as it is a native android feature. If your phone has a fingerprint lock you can use it to lock individual apps as well.
I really love it. There is no lag unlike the other apps. I just hope that when i open the task manager, it would also cover up the app.
Fingerprint sensor only working on Pixel 3 if I access the AppLock App self. with other apps the fingerprint sensor has no function. nice try, i give it four more weeks to fix it.

This app doesn't support fingerprint unlock for my phone everytime I am check but didn't work very bad experience....I can't say . I am not giving to this app 1 star also but this option is not available there don't install this app.
apps is good and all but anyone with a bit more sense can just unistall that first (possible without going to the settings first on newer android) and than have access to all your stuff.
Works well and reliably. One minor bug or quirk is that it sometimes blanks the navigation bar. Bringing down the notification bar restores it.
Useless. You have to let the app open everytime and enable ALL the permissions otherwise it doesn't work. Moreover it refused to take my fingerprint. Thank godness it was on sale so I didn't have to pay, but just a tip SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BUY IT!
it worked very well...but now fingerprint does not work properly...without touching it is showing that i have tapped the sensor for 5 times...not opening the apps with touching the sensor...
I paid for the pro version and it's now glitching. When asking to use the biometric scanner It's not recognizing the finger print and asking several times to scan. This is very annoying because I not only paid for it I reported it to the developer and didn't get a response.
