it stopped adding points; emailed them and no response for more than a month. Update: The developer responded saying they don't have record of emails. We sent multiple emails, and yes it could have been under different email address or account. But, we deleted the app after about 2 months of having issues and not hearing back. Now, no longer interested in it.
Was great until recently, but after today's update its seems to have "lost" my account. Not that i was getting my points regularly. The app started crashing repeatedly about 6 months ago. Since then, even though this is running on my phone all the time, I've gotten about 1/2 the weekly ponts. I go 3 weeks without points being credited. I have updated my account profile many times. I don't understand what today's issue is now. I am realky getting tired of this.
The app was easy to use and awarded points often. Then they said they would go to an emailed survey format to award points. Since the start of the year, I've gotten one survey. But I can cash out and be done without 50 more points. Used to be great and now I'm done.
Used to be good but after the switch to surveys, I haven't received a single point in four months. You'll see the support team claim some people receive more surveys than others but if you read the other reviews, no one is really receiving opportunities to earn, you'll just be giving away your data for free. Avoid this app at all costs.
AppOptix is now making users complete surveys while also collecting data to earn rewards. Since this change was implemented beginning of January 2022, I've received just a single survey. Before, I was able to cash out every 3 months. With the new change and the rate of surveys, it now takes approximately 9 months to cash out. So not only did AppOptix reduce your earn rate potential by 1/3, they are also now making users do extra work by completing surveys. Uninstalling. Please stay away.
Was great until they started doing "surveys" instead of a steady point system. Almost two months and no surveys. Cut your losses AppOptix and shut it down if you can't afford it anymore, don't lie to us.
They changed the reward system, okay fine. But didn't update the app to stop gathering data. The promised surveys aren't happening and it's no longer worth continuing to give them my data for free. Survey issuance is still garbage.
The app wanted an update so I went on my account and updated my info. It wouldn't allow me to save it and said there was a problem with the app so I needed to go into my phone settings and clear the data. When I did, the app now says my account isn't there but instead wants me to sign up as if I was a new panel member. But, it says I need to be invited to join. I've been on AppOptix for a long time but now it's like I never existed. I sent an email to support but they never contacted me back.
This app was working fine until about 4 months ago. I was contacted by email and instructed to update app in order to keep earning rewards. After I updated app it will no longer show points or allow profile to be updated. The app continues to run on my phone collecting data. I emailed the AppOptix team but have gotten no response.
Ever since they changed to surveys back in January, I haven't received any survey invites, but they're still collecting info. If no survey's by end of this month, I'm uninstalling. This was a great app and earner, now ruined by their "updates and changes."
Was great until they decided to send surveys to receive a reward. Three months later and no surveys but they continue to collect data and give no rewards. Removing this app if no survey by the end of this month.
When I first started using the app you were able to earn with wifi only, then they moved to data only. I see the app using my data but I'm not earning points every week. I try to contact them to find out what is the problem, but never get a response. Is there anyone working support? They use to be great at responding and addressing your concerns but now its radio silence, not sure if its covid related but someone needs to do something, I'm feeling jilted! 😣
Can't continue earning points because the app won't allow you to save your profile. Even with every required field completed it gives you an error to complete required fields when you attempt to save your profile. Now I can't even earn points because it wants me to update my profile but won't actually allow it to happen.
App does save when you click save on the profile and support ignores emails. Just as everyone already said. This company needs to get their **** together. This is not how you do business. You want to ignore support emails then close your app up and move on to something else.
This app used to work great all the time, but let the last few months it hasn't worked right. The last time it ran without any glitches was October 2018. I've just updated for the 3rd time, I'll see what happens.
The rewards are great! The only real problem is that the app has started crashing daily, more times than I can count. I uninstalled and reinstalled it twice with no change.
used be so reliable, and now no points since 2/11, almost 2 months. Emailed several times, no response. What happened?? ***Update: response in less than 12 hrs, and credited missing points. They are working on a fix for all android 10 users. Back up to 5 star!
I have had this app installed for a few years now and have never had a problem with getting my points and money until august 10, 2021. I dont know what has happened but the app is still running but I am not receiving any weekly points!
I have been having issues for months now where they say that I have not been active when my device says I am. They tell me to uninstall and then reinstall which I do and it still doesn't help or does for a short while and then I have issues again. Please fix if I could give it a 0 * I would right now. It used to be a full five stars
6/5/20: Received email response, missing points credited and instructions on how to hopefully fix issue in the future. END UPDATE. Didn't get weekly points between 1/12/20 and 5/24/20 despite having the app on my phone, running, and updating my profile every time I got the emails. I see the company responded to some people and gave them points but I emailed them 5/19/20 and they ignored me, so 1 star. Do not install.
I've had this app for long time. at first it was working smoothly and got my gift card on time. for the last year I've had to email them to get my gift card over and over at least 4x before they responded this last time I was due my gift card on Feb 20 and still nothing no response from them. A waste of time!!
Since the change is the point system absolutely nothing has happened. It say you will get surveys but that is a lie. Don't waste your time. Two surveys since January 2022 so sad
ZERO STARS!!! App is absolutely worthless since their surveys only payment system. Seems everyone is having the same issue and the company is playing the blame game that we need to provide more data. UNINSTALLING
Don't really like that how they moved away from passive earnings to surveys. I haven't seen a survey in my inbox since so I've been stuck on 200 points since January.
As EVERYONE else is saying, since they switched to surveys-only in Jan 2022, most of us have received zero surveys. I have the same 100 points I had four months ago.
An app that allows you to earn Amazon Gift Cards without having to do absolutely anything after initial set-up...what's not to love? Great app! I've received multiple Amazon Gift Cards and used them, never had any issues. Just wish they had this app for ios.
The app has always worked great for me, I always get credited and it takes very minimal effort. Like others I've noticed problems when updating your profile, but was able to update mine by changing one of the awnsers in my profile, saving, then changing it back and saving again. My mom uses the app as well, but she has had lots of issues with the app not running in the background correctly. It makes me wonder if it has something to do specifically with Samsung phones.
