Apps for Chromecast

Free, really free! After viewing just one ad. At least for now. If it changes I will update review. App nicely put together very clean, and very organized. I love it! Highly recomanded!

Haven't got a heater that works, but a nice hot log fire on the TV, does make a difference and I have always wanted a fish tank. You can find lots of useful things, and never had any problems. Good stuff 🥇😜

I own both Chromecast and 4K Firestick, along with iHome and other other devices. My home is filled with Smart devices, I'm hooked. I find it very difficult to set up all the other Smart products from different companies but both Google and Amazon products hooked up somewhat easy. I've spent most my time on Amazon because I had it hacked for specialty apps, but I'm yet to delve deep into my Chromecast. But thus far it seems just like the 4K Firestick. All these Smart Devices keep me busy.

It is a great device if you have an older TV. The picture quality and sound are very good regardless of the source of the data stream.

Doesn't show all the rooms that I had set up previously and can not find where to add them back on.

Good to use app for broadcasting from your phone to TV and all the features you can choose from just that easy, I give 5 starts because it works and does everthing it says do... In my favor ☺

full sceen ads are a no-no, gang, and I've only just started to take a look at this thing. Best way to ensure I don't buy from an advertiser is to get in my face like a pushy used car salesman. It's disappointing. It needs to better organized, and there are lots of apps spammed into every catagory. The definition of free is pretty loose for many aps, such as "free to download". As for the ads? Everywhere. Including dialog boxes. Overall, just another tacky honey pot for ad spamming.

The applications for Chromecast is alright and work quite well...haven't downloaded everything yet, but will download what my cellphone has the right capabilities to run from my phone to Chromecast. It would be awesome if a few more applications could be offered in the form of an updated version of applications available for Chromecast. Just a thought ...use it or.....

Works great on newer model tvs And from all my devives,tablets, computers.. Just some ads. Become annoying. Over. Over. Over....but....thats whys free...

I got the ad free version by looking at one ad and now the 5 star review. I'll be testing it to see how it works.

So far so good - simple enough to understand it's like a menu of possibilities for the Chromecast, which is awesome as I am new to both Android and Chromecast, I had no idea what I was doing! Oh BTW, They give the option of Ad Free, FOR FREAKING FREE!? WHAT THE F@#$! I have no choice but to give my first review to an app that is helpful and thankfully AD FREE! (If this changes, expect an update!)

Good, but try to perfect the screen to 4k HD.

I love the variety of categories.Very generous amount of apps that are useful and entertaining.There is something for everyone,just about.

Actually does what it says it does. And the best part is there's an ad free option. But besides the fact that what makes it free is giving them a review, I have to say it does what it says it does. it allows you to find apps that are compatible with Chromecast and even allows you to cast through the app itself. Great job developers!

Was difficult to set chromecast up at first, being a first time user but google helped me with that. Once set up it was awesome, no problems with it when watching Netflix, Neon etc. Its actually fast to load and is just wonderful to watch and is convenient thanks to this app. Everything just comes through chromecast. I can watch my favourite movies and t.v series all through getting this app. Thank you.

If you like ads this is for you! Unnecessarily confusing and bulky app to maneuver about. There's like 20+ apps to sort through and I just want a SIMPLE Chromecast App to cast from tablet to TV. Want the button on screen to tap and boom, instantly tablet screen mirrored and on TV. Somehow I am going to find a simple cast app without all the b.s., clutter, and a ton of adds and apps (you won't want, use, or need). Grab this app if you don't believe me. Just believe me.

Good App. Initial setup is a bit hard. Problem solved by contacting Google support. It is excellent being able to see a phone screen on a large TV. Works on all HDMI TVs even non smart TVs. Device is worth buying for using with the App. Would be good if Chromecast devices used USB power or a built in battery then when changing TVs don't have to find extra power points for the wall socket power adapter.

I was offered to remove all the ads in the app for free.

This app would not work casting onto my tv. I used to be sble to chromecast from my laptop but you changed it so i have to install on a phone. This app changed all my app icons to xxlg and now I can't get them to the original size of small. Very frustrating . I tried uninstalling the app no luck Tried rebooting my phone no luck. If some one can help me that would be GREAT

A very unique and handy guide to Chromecast applications. The list of applications grows daily and this guide helps you keep up to date. The ads can be removed by simply giving a rating. I highly recommend giving this a try if you own a Chromecast or used the built in Chromecast support on an Android device.

Used to work on my Galaxy S9 until I updated to OS10. Now it hangs on the last statup Screen saying almost finished and never gets past it. To bad, have had quite a few casting apps die after update and don't really know how to resolve. My Spectrum TV App used to work with the S9 as well and is now kaput. I'm sure it's an access problem since companies are more worried about getting paid than providing reliable service anymore.

An excellent app has a lot of options to choose from.

Very disatisfied and can't use this product. When purchasing I was told it could connect to tv like a dongle which Does'nt Need Wifi or a Smart tv. Even the advertisement suggest the same thing. Then you are charged for it. Some one like myself who is not tech savvy can be persuaded , believing they have a means to transmit or stream from their phones to tv or projector easily using only the screen mirroring from your phone to the Chromecast device. This is sad and dishonest.Got to cancel !!

Good app for finding apps to cast to chromecast

Thank you Chromecast for your attentiveness to my special needs. It is extremely helpful that I am FOCUSED when I am needed to fulfill deadlines. It's amazing what I can accomplish without interruptions! I will follow up while exploring the experience! SJZk .... 2/2020 - my new chromebook is ready to come out of the box! I only use the app to cast from my phone. I don't use any of the other apps. It was fine until the app was updated, some time ago, but now it disconnects in the middle of a movie and I have to back out and sign back on to the app to watch the rest of the show. Not cool. Please fix this.

I have not yet had time to properly try on this app, however on first appearance is it appears to be quite useful and I expect I would get some good value from it. I am giving it a five-star rating straight off because I like the fact that the app allows you to disable advertising completely straight away in the settings with no requirement for payment or any other quid-pro-quo.

I found the app useless. all the apps you can get from the play store and of you have a chromcast you have Google home that has a section for chromecast apps. and you can mirror your screen from there. that being said it was a nice list off apps and the fact you can turn off the ads for free got you an extra star.
