Does what it claims. With so many apps having to take up Gigabytes of space on the primary SD card, not giving the option to install instead on the secondary SD, and multiple other apps claiming to carry this out but failing to, this one does it. Plenty of help and instructions inside the app itself, which are much clearer than the video in the free version page. Note that the secondary SD card "disappears" from Android otherwise, aside from what you designate as the "cache" storage.
Three years ago, I rooted my Samsung Tab with the hope that I could link my SD card to the internal storage. The idea was to transport most of my apps to the card, so as to free up internal memory for system apps. That didn't go well at all. So I was left with a massive, but empty SD card, and a limited, but also very clogged internal storage. Finally, after nearly three years, I have found this APP. It does exactly what it says that it does. I have been able to transfer every app to the card.
I have purchased the pro version before but since Google deleted it, now the free version has become pro and the ads removed. I really like the app so I'll counting on you to keep it updated but since you got no ads and you can't sell the pro version anymore, why don't you make a "donate the dev" option to keep it up. maybe like an achievement, but you have to differ them to 2 or 3 price range. the small, medium, and big or low and high. the price migh be 1, 2.5, and 5 bucks. I think we will keep support you.
The idea of App2SD is wonderful. But the realisation is awful. I've been using it for long time and I was amazed about the functions this App offers. But in the same time it was making my several phones working very slow. That ist the main problem. I was thinking it was connected with the huge amount of Apps I have. Also very often lots of my linked Apps were becoming partially linked and I had to relink them manually. But when I switched to one other App i.e. Link2SD, my phones were like reborn. Fast and reliable. I have uninstalled App2SD and now I am happy😊
The app is useful for those of us having low internal storage. However, on recent versions of android it doesn't work at all. I am using nougat and app to sd doesn't work but binding a folder works which is enough for me. I can bind large folders to the sd card. Even big obb folder can be binded easily. I didn't tried its other features. And yeah, it needs root so don't even think of installing it if you don't have it.
Excellent app. Work of art, 5 stars all day long. Many apps claim to be able to move apps and data to external storage, though few in my experience accomplish this. This app is next generation as far as i can see. Phone must be rooted for our to work at all. Don't even download it without a rooted device, the app will not work otherwise.
Almost too good, but can still be better. It cant read data ext size properly unless you choose 1 app for detail; this breaks sorting by data ext size. Also you could've put service.d as a mount script option I guess? Lastly, linking internal data is bundled with cache, but linking cache will reduce performance heavily. You can move cache elsewhere in /data, then copy data to sdcard (ext fs) and link it to internal memory, then link the cache to the sdcard (ext fs).
App2SD is arguably the best app to SD software on play store,it's even more better than Link2SD. App2SD needs root privileges and init.d to work flawlessly. I am using it on my Infinix note 4 Nougat phone. If you're using magisk systemless root then go to settings of APP2SD, check su.d/post-fs-data.d/service.d and paste this in the box /data/adb/post-fs-data.d/. This is where your APP2SD mount script will stored for execution by magisk daemon.
A useful app to move your apps to sd card to save your internal space, plus an all in one set of utilities. Even contains a partition manager. **To Mr.Survey guy: Advanced options have a possibility of bricking your phone, if you are not aware of what you are doing, but you can do the same thing by just deleting system files in any capable file manager, but it will NOT cause damage to your motherboard. Your service has deceived you to get more money since rooting voids warranty.
This is a must have app for rooted oreo users that lost the ability to move apps to sd, It is a quick and simple process that let me have a twrp backup AND a ton of storage! Not only can you partition your sd cards, you can mount folders, clean them, and fix them. For anyone downloading, I would recommend converting it to a system app. 🤔👌
even though it somehow feels like this app is could be doing something behind the scenes, its better to have the functionality of the app rather than having no memory on my device... very useful frontend for the linux toolkit... has many tools... might consider having an option to approve or disapprove su commands on an individual basis... or at least view them as they happen
Oloha!~ Thank youuuuu sooo soo much! Seriously! ;-; I've been having probs with storage before, but now that I found this helpful app, I just speechless xD, Really. Recommended. Edit : Soo just got a problem, after the boot, some apps are missing and some not. Did soft reboot but it's still missing and I tried to restore them back but failed. And I already tried all the methods, normal, advanced. But the other apps still missin'. Eventually I had to factory reset my phone.:( Solution? ;-; Oh cmon
A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY ROOTED ANDROID USER! It offers all the features in Link2sd, plus more features for free in this amazing app. Creating a mount script for your SD card 2nd partition works amazingly. My internal storage is only 11gb, but I bought a 128gb SD card, and installed this app. Because of this app, I never have to worry about running out of space! THANK YOU DEVS!!!
I am satisfied with this app. The only 2 things I don't understand is why totally linked app suddenly appears partly linked and why after booting some apps lose their data such happens with Kindle app. The only solution I have applied to avoid the latter is to mark Kindle app as no linkable before booting. By doing so, I am able to am able to mantain my data.
The best thing is : 1. Full link app to SD card. (Successful) 2. Folder mount. (Successful) 3. Partition tool. (Good) 4. Reboot. (Good) 5. Setting. (Successful) 6. Other. (I don't have a time to use it) " But the problem is ......." 1. After restart phone , all shortcut of apps has disappear. (How to fix ?) 2. About widgets. (How to use it ?) " If you want me to give you 5 star , then please tell me about that two questions , then i'll give you 5 star. (Please hurry to tell me.) "
I've been using this for years, and it's an indispensable app for devices with small internal memory. It is still working fine on android 10.
I was looking for an app Link2SD as a System App manager and a way to mount folders for my screenshot folder like FolderMount then google play suggested this. My only issue was the mount script, I was literally searching for the action/button for over 5hours. I've already set the mount stage to magisk, tried rebooting it for like 10x then eventually finding it in "Link apps to SD CARD"'s navigation drawer 😅 .. Thanks Dev 👍
Does everything other than what is in the name (for debugging) is says "error java.lang.llleagalArrgumentException: new installs into ASEC containers no longer supported" then you may ask justification for my four stars? it is an excellent terminal, overclocker, bloatware remover, task manager, task scheduler partioner, screen recorder (Doesn't install busybox on magisk rooted phone)
Very nice and working well, but more updates will be better in order to fix or repair corrupted SD card. The apps corrupted one of SD card which I find it difficult to repair.
[BUG][CRITICAL] Exclude apps from linking / hibernation has a bug: You e.g. Exclude system apps from linking/hib, BUT regardless you CAN "Link all dex files" under App menu - even on system apps you EXCLUDED from linking. What's worse - when you try to fix that by a.) filtering it as system apps, multiselect and unlink ->result: it shows it is all unlinked - which is not real (!) b.) As next option, you try one by one and get the toast msg that "the app is excluded from linking / hyb
This is the best app for internal storage problems. The reason why I rated it 4 stars is because there is a slight problem in this app. To the devs of this app I want to share this experience to you for your further development. When I linked "mobile legends" to sd card, the game would stop because it cannot update. I also tried updating the game before linking it to sd but then the updates gets removed once I finished linking the game. Please fix this issue and your app will be finally perfect.
There are now so many roadblocks built into Android (SD Card Access mess, unstoppable background apps, forced online registrations with more and more apps) that it stops being "fun" to do Android as a power user :-( W/o apps like this one to fill the gap I would have long switched to a real operating system.
All in one Tool . It's Swap manager is super useful . You can expand as much vram you want . Also it has sdcard speed test. Recommended 🖒🖒
This is an awesome All-in-One app! The number of applications I use has dwindled because this app does almost everything. Another great thing is the developer letting us have the Pro edition for no extra charge.
what a good app. I have Samsung j 3 2016 rooted mobile 8 GB internal and 32 GB extarnal memory. This app create 2nd ext4 partition easily for me. Now i am install many apps without tension. Nice work, I recommend all my Friends.
Best app ever for rooted devices. It has all the necessary tools needs for a superuser. We can move apps from device to sd card with ease, clean the device storage and even create swap memory and much more.
It's been my go to option for an all-in-one performance and storage optimization app for years on multiple android devices and versions. Some options are better left unchanged unless you're 100% certain you know what you're doing or after you have done some research(R.i.P my 32GB mmc) but most, if not all options are accompanied by clear instructions. Absolutely love this app
