Works as intended. The app never promised to make other apps/games free but to inform users of apps that are currently free, which is something it does really well. Plus the ads are unobtrusive, making the experience much better. I'm reviewing this after using it for a year. After trying out the competitors, I have to say that this is the only one that looks and feels professional. Kudos to the team. P.S. I don't really think that a search bar is necessary, the interface would look cluttered.
Very nice, useful, non-intrusive app! I've gotten some really good free app deals as a result of having it installed. I will try apps it suggests while those full-featured versions are free and then decide to keep them or discard them after I've had a chance to explore them. Instead of simply trying out a trimmed-down free version, I'm getting to try out a full-featured free version. That's helpful.
After several weeks of use, this app appears to work exactly as described and i have experienced no issues with it. While ad supported, these have been restricted to a small banner at the bottom of the app's screen. I have not encountered any obnoxiously intrusive pop-up full screen ads either in the app, or worse, on top of other apps. It's allowed me to obtain a number of useful, normally paid apps, that i might otherwise not have tried. Besides, i have a soft spot for star loving cats...
I have used similar apps but this one stand out from the others. For starters, there is a "Dark" theme option which alone is a huge plus for me. There are a number of customizing options you can set for the type of apps it lists so you can find apps that are more relevant to you. A few examples would be: Type of app, minimum downloads, minimum rating, etc. The developers were also kind enough to stick with banner ads so they can still make their money through ad revenue while being discrete and not plaguing your screen with intrusive popup ads. This is something I can respect and appreciate. The app does exactly what it says, it lists other premium/paid apps on the store that are currently free. This is a type of app that is essential for people who are into having a multitude of tools on your phone while also not breaking the bank.
I absolutely love this app! I've got so many paid apps for free because of it. It lets you set notifications for apps that have a certain rating or even set by how many total downloads so you're not getting notifications for mediocre apps. Also, it lets you set categories for what kind of apps you'd like to be notified about. Very helpful. Another cool thing, they give you the option to have an add free experience if you agree to watch a 30 sec add for 1 day of add free. That's very reasonable!
AppsFree should be in everyone's must have app list. When I need an app for something, I always check it first. It's always quick to get the free app deals listed, the direct links to the apps is more of a time saver than most realize, and the clean, unobtrusive implementation of ads is greatly appreciated. And I love the filter options. They work better than a search function. Best free app finder app available for android. Period.
easy to use, doesn't bombard you with ads. simply lists apps currently on sale for $0 and links you to Play Store page to download. has filters both for game types and app categories, as well as minimum app downloads, minimum rating, ability to exclude particular keywords or developers...also can watch ads at your leisure to avoid being interrupted by them for a day, though i haven't been served a single ad yet. doesn't beg you for personal details either. great app guys, keep it up. also cats.
I like the UI and filter options but I would like to just pay once and get rid of ads. would be great if the app could talk to the Playstore, to know if I own specific apps, and NOT show them to me and remove them from the list automatically after I install them. this is do-able, I have another app that does just that. Also, the app needs to be able to notify me when new apps are available.
Brilliant. Does what it says on the tin.. It finds paid app's that are free at the time and it tells you how long is left on the sale. I've used it a few months and I got some good stuff, a theme and some games. It is nice and clean to look at and simple to use, it runs smooth with clicks and movements. It updates regularly as new games n apps are put on sale. Absolutely no issues. Thank you very much for this.
I had no idea the amount of different games available. Easy for me to get frustrated because nearly all games have too many ads. Because of this app I am finally able to play with apps without screaming - always willing to try but only if no ads. Ads are taking over and we spend far too much time being force-fed ads. Thanks for making this app - having fun really exploring apps and games now. Only wish it could have a separate list/drawer for apps I want or have tried. Ih. And a dark theme.
Well maintained, great source of info with a widof selection. selectuon and I was especially impressed with the filtering options,, so that I didn't have to sort through a bunch of useless apps that were 9f no interest to me, specifically! Even weed out certain developers that you don't want to see content from. Allll free, does what it says and doesn't cause system drain, or ask unnecessary permissions.
Great app. Some of the content isn't exactly as described, such as premium apps that say no ads but you find out they do, but appsfree does what it says. Offers apps currently free. I've found great tools and games so far that you'd next to never find for free. And, I don't have to worry about annoying ads because most of them don't have any. Definitely recommend this to everyone. You'll probably find that app you didn't even know you needed. Free!!!
Decent program, great idea and the app is totally problem free. Very minimal ads that are seamlessly in line, not in your face. Win win to me - developer gets a little needed cash and I do not have to even notice the ads since they are simply in the program list but clearly labeled as what they are. This is really the only way ads should ever be shown... the original creator of pop-ups should be tied to a chair and forced to watch every pop-up ever made. Maybe thats too cruel though lol
Update: apps with ads appear even if one has filtered out apps with ads Now ads appear on the list several times instead of being displayed at the bottom...
Extremely low content level. The only thing saving it from one star is the fact that there are no apps that are always free.
I have found some amazing apps for free, you can't go wrong! The options change regularly with plenty of variety.
Very solid app that does what it claims without fuss. Filters to let you ignore low-rated apps, icon packs etc are really useful. Easy to read format. Does have ads, but the okay type that doesn't intrude. Might be nice to let you sort results by title, app type etc. So 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5 thanks to the cute cat!
Does what it says it will, but through no fault of developer there just doesn't seem to be as many exceptional opportunities as you might hope for. There does seem to be quite a bit of good samplings of wallpapers and icon packs that normally carry a charge, but even these are often the same vendors over and over with their newest offerings. App is still well worth a try and even though I am hard to please, I would not hesitate to recommend it.
Decided to try the AppsFree service about a month ago and have not been disappointed and let down. YES there have been one or two minor exceptions but NOT a 'spamming' of unsuitable garbage, but SAFE and user friendly even if not exactly to plan. 0So far I can only give a thumbs up to AppsFree-Paid apps and intend to expand my search criteria to see if the same still holds. I'll update in a month or so with my findings. I can also confirm all of the Apps I've chosen to keep are 100% free.
Great App, I've downloaded so many apps now for free. A real steal. Just wish there was more deals and discounts there, not all are shown or picked up. But still good nonetheless
Amazing app! It saves me a lot of money and let me download the Pro apps in full, in case I don't like it was free anyway ;) I just love it!!! Thank you very much 👍🏼 😊
Does exactly what is says on the tin. Shows apps that are on sale for free and links to the play store page. Ads are pretty minimal and the UI is clean. Similar apps by a single developer get grouped into a folder which is nice since it keeps the list from getting filled with icon packs and wallpapers.
Easy and efficient way to get apps from google play store that normally cost a buck or more when they're on sale for FREE for a few days. You can filter out types of apps and games (seems to be mostly games) in a well designed system of filters. (There's another app called AppSales that does the same thing for apps discounted for a few days but not necessarily free.) Both very impressive and useful.
They have the same ting app every week/days. The most apps are junk/trash. Do not waste your time. No one wants to these app.
Apps for free with unobtrusive ads, very intuitive and nicely done. Sorting would be nice, by hotness, number of downloads, newly added, that way you don't have to go through all the apps you've already seen. Very good job!
I usually don't rate apps that ask for ratings, or rate them negatively if it's persistent, but there is an exception to everything. I wouldn't mind if it's persistent even after this just to see it again. That's definitely the way to do it! As far as the app goes, it does what it says it does, in a better way than similar apps. I like how many filters there are and even a chance to block apps from certain devs if needed or wanted. Great job all around. Don't forget to give the stars to the cat!
