total waste of time can not even log in, keeps asking me to download Google chrome that I already have installed, it opens chrome on a very dodgy spin the wheel advert. This is too much like a scam
Everytime i opened the app, it asks me install google chrome. Does this app think that im still using explorer like a neanderthal? Fix it! I hv tried this app before and it was great. But now idk what happen
Maybe for very simple projects, but not for anything serious (can't even create a semi decent layout). It's rather slow and still buggy. And the fees are just too much.
Warning: Probably a phishing scam; it asks for my google password within the app. I contacted the developer for clarification, but they directed me to an email address that is not in use. Then they sent me to a website where I would have to log in to contact them - exactly the thing I tried to contact them about. Also they might be removing this review in some way. I would not trust this developer one bit and will try to keep posting this review. I also reported this to play store.
The app cannot recognise that I have chrome installed on my phone. Total waste of time. Aptly named appshit.
Amazing app. I have created useful application based on my Google drive tables without any knowledge in programming.
a bit buggy. On pixel 6 pro, all the apps "reloads" if the device is rotated. this doesn't happen on other phones i have (pixel 3 and Samsung s22)
Excellent tool. The learning curve can be steep depending on your goal. The pricing limits use to businesses more so than hobbyists though
Been trying google, microsoft, and dropbox. But still blank pages only, sync and sync never end. Which one account type I can use?
The idea of the app is great. It definitely wasn't designed to be intuitive though, so plan on spending time endlessly searching out the answer for "how do I do something" In the end, why not just learn a coding language that will be useful for more things, if you have to manage this steep learning curve anyway, right? I suppose if you have a very specific use case this app solves, and you for sure never want to code beyond the scope of this app, then it's a good choice.
The best way to get rid of the paper work and having to deal with looking out of place because you have no clue if anything has to be done or worked on because this app allows me to see what management needs me to do with just a click of a button. Option to leave any notes even a option for a photo to show progress of your work and allowing other employees the chance to express any concerns or maintenance issues . After compleating task and saving it will e mail work completed to them
Before i appreciated this app but this app turned off automatically after getting refresh nw n then..i can't understand what to do
Easily the worst, most frustrating, pointless apps I have ever encountered. The GUI is poorly laid out. Navigation is terrible. Expect to waste a lot of time looking at loading screens, or just blank white screens. Option buttons don't work - so instead of deleting a project, it will just keep trying to run. There is no clear or visible way to return to editing once the program has decided to run the created app, which it will now run on default when AppSheet is started. 3 hours wasted. 0/10
Difficult to use and unable to sync all the time and it's taking more time get sync
There seems to be a major issue with thus app. It appears to be installed but when you start it, it requests you to sign into Google. Once you do this it prompts you to install Chrome (which is already installed!). It then goes back to requesting signing to Google and round the loop again asking you to install Chrome again!!! So at the end of the day it just does not work.
I have to use this app for work. It's worked ok in the past, but the recent update has made it so that the program barely runs. I literally get about one minute of sketchy use each time before it crashes. This is on a galaxy s10+ so there should be no issues running it.
A little creepy when a webpage(appsheet) decides to take a picture of you without your permission. I have an oppo with a popup self facing camera so i know when an app or webpage uses my camera. Also, when you install the app you are tricked into thinking its totally free because there aren't any ads or in-app-purchases. But the website isn't totally free and it is required to customize anything. The app should say requires monthly fee per app. Free for personal use.
With basics of spreadsheets and little knowledge in programming, we can do complete CRM, custom follow ups, maps, pictures, notifications, etc. Brillant. It's mostly for work though, not entertainment. The UI is not fun enough but functions are here.
Worked perfectly until the update, now whenever I try to sign in appsheet crashes. Can't do anything in any of the apps I've created. This is causing huge issues for me as I use my apps almost daily. I wish I hadn't updated but my phone forced me to. Please fix these bugs asap.
The app is absolutely terrible, and there is zero customer service. I have an issue with my email, and I need to change it, but their customer service continually refuses to help. I highly suggest people do NOT use this app. It's a waste of time, and their customer service will not help with anything.
Used to love it! Now my app won't work on any device... No Change was made to the app or the spreadsheet. Wish I could post a picture of the screen I'm getting. Neither retry or load app gallery button will work.
Appsheet definition sounds like its name. We wanted to create a simple truck inventory app and its not possible. You guys should just simply shut down. Nothing changed since the past 3 years I've tried to use this app. Hopeless.
You can do a good amount of stuff with AppSheet however it is not logical at all. The whole thing is a maze and the "support documentation" is completely useless because it is extremely wordy and complicated. Plus, they just reference another support document rather than provide an answer. They should list steps instead of writing entire articles. I would give them more stars if everything was logical but they have created their own language
Nothing there! Blank pages! At first I thought maybe I had done something wrong so I logged out and log back in with my Microsoft account as opposed to Google and I logged out and log back in with a different Google account absolutely nothing no searches no templates blank pages I took screenshots and I wish there was somewhere to post them don't even waste your time thinking about POSSIBLY trying to download this. 20 minutes I'll never get back!
It sounded like something that could be used to make a GUI for your google sheet, the sheet effectively functioning as database tables, but there's nothing there in AppSheet but the name of whatever tab was in focus on your sheet when the "app" is made - no way to create and edit forms, connect to additonal tables, etc. Does not show any contents of said tab even. Does absolutely nothing. Tutorials online refer to menus that don't exist in the app.
Easy enough to use with basic spreadsheet skills. It's meant for hybrid offline/ online access, so you will have to pay attention to those settings if you have a lot of data.
So yeah, I work security, and the company I work for uses AppSheet for managing our reports. And now I'm completely locked out because it won't recognize that I have Chrome on my phone, which came with it as the default browser, and it's considered a system app, so I couldn't remove it if I wanted to without rooting. Everything is up to date, and there were no updates between when I last used the app and when I got locked out.
