How to use appWash.
appWash is a service for shared laundry rooms where you pay per wash.
If the operator of your laundry room, e.g. your landlord, has decided to use appWash, he will inform you. Then simply download the app, register and start.
Of course you can also recommend us! Show your landlord or the operator of a laundry room our website. On the website you will find a product brochure under ""appWash operator"". You can contact us at [email protected] or simply visit your nearest Miele partner. And if everything works out and appWash is installed in your laundry room, you will receive your first appWash prepaid balance of 50€ from us!

You have to get a validation code via text to register for the app but it is not sending me one. And there is no option to validate by email. I sent an email to the support email address and no one has answered. I am in a rush to wash clothes and this is super inconvenient and silly.
It's a good app. Just one thing is, when you forget to put something after you started, then you need to pay again. I hope you can implement this feature or at least you can refund that extra payment, other than that it's effective
Super easy to use and reload. Don't have to worry about hoarding loose change anymore before going to the Laundromat. Interface is very basic but it works without any issues. So all's good.
If you are reading this review, I feel bad for you, because you probably just moved to a place where this app is required to wash your clothing. To say it is a piece of useless garbage would be a kindness, as I have yet to find a thing it does well. Payment is clunky, logins don't properly persist, and the app is generally thrust upon the users with no alternative options.
Works fine for me. However, a few simple changes would make it a lot easier to use. For example, why do the timers of in-use machines count up instead of down? When it counts down I can actually see when mine is done and when another machine will become available. It doesn't save me as much time if I have to keep checking the app. Maybe a notification for when a new machine is available would also be nice.
First it didn't show anything but the loading screen for a couple of minutes, then it stuck on logging me in. Error says something about 'refreshing access token'. Have now to find another laundry using other payment systems. Upd: With the few last updates, the app requests login and password every next time I launch it. "Remember me" option does nothing
The app does not function well. In the app it says the machine is available when it is actually in use.
Machines won't start, "Activation Failed". Every time I want to wash it takes 20-35 Minutes of trying until the machine starts. A good example of "newer isn't always better". At least the coin boxes that were installed before never had server issues -.-
I am using the wash machines in an student dorm. I was paying 2.85€ per wash with coins. Now I have to pay 3.5€ while using the app. However, I wonder why the minimum amount of pay (top-up) is set to 20€! During my stay I've barely spent 15€ with the old coin machines and I am moving out of the dormitory in the following weeks but now I have to top-up 20€ without using the full amount. Where will the rest go? In your packet? Absolute bloatware. Absolute smart fraud. Stay away from this app!
No reservation popup on the machine which can cause other ignorance user to take the slot and use the machine for free
Ridiculously expensive, drying and washing costs over 6 euros, also I booked a dryer that was "available" little did I know it was already in use. Basically, I paid the fee, which is almost 3 euros just to get the frustration of seeing the machine working away and me being charged by the app. To say I was and still am pissed is a gross overstatement.
Old Website system allowed to reserve. This doesn't Could access old system from my laptop. This is a downgrade
I am very much impressed by the customer support. Whenever I use a laundry for the first time in a new place. I will definitely loose the transaction amount until i am accustomed to the working procedure of the washing machine and usually wont get a refund but in this app I got a refund which was surprising to me, thanks to the customer service.
The app works perfectly well. It's be nice if we could see remaining time on the machine instead of time they've been active. Also being able to use Google pay as payment option would be nice. Machine often appear as available while occupied or falsely send a message that the laundry is ready.

On the app I can see that washing machines are available but in reality all those machines are occupied. Don trust the app until you go and check machine availability physically.
Had many problems with the app where I activated a dryer/washing machine but then nothing would happen. It would then say there was a failure connecting to the machine or an error.
The washing machine won't start because the payment doesn't go through, in the app it says "starting" then after a coupleof minutes "activation failed". To be honest this is quite frustrating.
This app is terrible!!! I mean complete GARBAGE!!!! it takes way too long to put money on the app, the app is SLOW, and 20 euros as the minimum??? If I had the option to put no stars I would 👎
There should be an option to get your money back if you booked but didn't use the washing machine eventually!. I find it ridiculous you still collected the money even though I cancelled the booking immediately!.
Honestly, it's easy. You gotta win on that, it's not our most exciting moment to do laundry. So, make it easy and fast, you got appWash.
I updated the app and I can't access any washing machines anymore shows everything as reserved even when it's not in use.
Lower the Minimum Top-up Price. £20 is ridiculous when other services have a minimum of £5
you need to add a feature that prevents access to the clothes AFTER washing except to the person who was using it. would rather not get my clothes taken out 5mins after the wash was done by a stranger.
App immediately shows money after preparing but the machine accept it for a while

The app is unreliable when showing which machines are free AND does not show all the machines in our washing salon!

It's so 2022 that you need to create an account& jump thru several other hoops to end up with a worse experience than before, eg you cannot wash when the server is unavailable. Truly a superfluous piece of tech compared to the system before
