Stopped working all together. DNS errors regardless of connection. Useless app.

I've been using this app for many years now, I loved the time I had with it. I'm sad to see it go and honestly wish that I knew it was going sooner instead of trying to figure out why the app wasn't working all day and then eventually realizing it has been shut down. It was a good run, best of luck to the developers and thank you so much for the time you put into this.

The new update is really giving me problem, I can't open the app any more, it keep popping up network dss error, pls you guys should fix these problem because i enjoy the app a lot but the network dss error popping up each time i tried to open the app is annoying. Can't wait to hear from you soon

This app used to be fantastic, but for the last few months it has been pretty terrible. Every time I leave the app and come back to it the app freezes. I have to force close the app to get it to reload new content. Sometimes even leaving a story and going back to the menu will cause the loading wheel to spin endlessly and never finish loading anything.

I enjoy this app quite a bit - it is catered to virtually the exact topic(s) you want and the presentation is top notch. I do wish, however, there were an easy way to remove approved news sources from the overall pool. The app is regularly adding new sources to the pool & will confirm if you want to inlude whichever new sources that are available - generally, I think a broader pool is better - but, after approving, I can't figure out exactly how to go back & exclude a previously approved news source. I mistakenly approved a Spanish-only source, it pops up across my list of topics fairly frequently, yet my Spanish is not good at all &, therefore, the source is not relevant/wanted. I have yet to be able to remove it.

This app is great but every once in a while I get server connection errors and I can't use the app anymore..not sure why but it's been 15 days now.. every time I run the app I get an "Invalid network response" error...this issue already happened few months ago and at some point it fixed by itself.. running Android 8.1 on Nexus 6P

I like it and it's a great tool to follow IT news, but I've always been a little confused with AppyGeek. It's organization is not as intuitive as it can be and will all the daily posts there are, that doesn't help. It sure helps with keeping the user engaged and 'using', but also the distraction and the amount of time it takes out of your day, is what drove me off last time.

A very informative app based on your selected (favourite) tech topics/interests. Mostly I like that you can set the reading settings to night mode so that it's easy in the eyes as well as change the text size if I remember correctly. I've downloaded this app since day and on every new android device I've ever had and will have; for me this is an app worth having n' it's staying. If you're into all things tech this app is a must have :)

It's awesome so far and I have had it for like 3 mos. Has tons of story's and news on a variety of tech topics from lots of awesome News Sources. Have had no problems at all once I got signed in and completed my profile all the way. I had a tiny bit of trouble only the very first day I got this but that was all due to my own confused self lol. You can even use Appy Geek as your screensaver on your phone. It's awesome! Thanks guys for the app an all your hard work on it.

Ive used this app for quite some years now and I think I'll soon be giving it up. Most the articles you now have to open in a browser to read. Well there's plenty of websites that gather news articles so why have appy geek and Web browser if appy geek is just going to open half of them in one anyway.

For me, one of the best mixed news aggregators. They improved much, my first experience with it was not so smooth on Nexus 4 or 5, can't remember any more (had some problems with interface rendering) . Now is smooth as a silk (on Nexus 6P). It works fine on both formats, phone and tablet.

I use this everyday to know about what's going on in the tech world. If ur into tech and wanna stay abreast, it's a great app to have. UPDATE: I haven't been able to open this app for the last few days, due to "Network DNS Error". It would force close after the error. Hope you guys see this, and update it. Thanks.

Absolutely great App ,Truly informative.Learned so much.You will find that you will be reading things that you thought you had no interest in as well as coming back for more, details are incredible all in a neat app that is clean and enjoyable set up and when I come back I find myself learning so much.Give it try you won't regret it. I complained about this before but no response, there was an option to use text to speech on the articles like 2 years ago but it's not there anymore! Fix this issue and it would become the best app out there! I don't have time to read each article and work at the same time so listening to the news will be great

Brilliant app. Used it for 3 days and it's completely replaced my need to Google new tech stories permanently! Excellent news sources, with a nice interface, although I do find that it's a bit cluttered. If there is a way to fix or change that then 5/5 stars. Unless there already is and I haven't found it yet because I haven't had the app that long, 5/5 stars 👌

This was my favourite app earlier. I stopped using it for a few months and now when I came back it just won't load any articles. It just keeps giving me "network connection timeout". My network isn't the problem since I have checked it with multiple WiFi and data networks but still no luck. Would appreciate help!

Why don't you people try being more transparent about what you charge for your subscription. Subscriptions are typically a racket and people like you try to be sneaky about it it only confirms this. Also, everything you provide for money can easily be done without your app by taking advantage of Google alerts.

I like this app a lot. I am very interested in the tech sector and this is such a useful tool to keep updated! It gives you a lot of options for topics to follow for your personalized section. They have the main screen that has various topics. You can search for different topics (ex. technology) or different companies (ex. Google) or types of objects (ex. phone) or specific objects (ex. Google Pixel) or operating systems (ex. Android). Underneath the search it has breakdowns if you would like to further search your term to get more specific articles. You can save articles for later. You can "react" to articles which helps the app know what to recommend for you to read. You can adjust notification settings a lot, which I appreciate. I haven't had any issues with the app so far. Great app!

Do NOT install this app. I am disappointed with this service. I am a paid subscriber that previously liked this app. Unfortunately problems have emerged that have not been addressed. My topics function has stopped working consistently. Link from notifications to article in the app also bit inconsistent. Search function indicates multiple articles available on a topic, but then prevents access either through search results or equivalent My Topic. Multiple support tickets submitted & no response so far.

This app used to be amazing. It was the go to place for tech news. But the developers consistently worked to ruin it. I applied to be a super geek 100 times no response, I was ranked 6th out of thousands using the app. Now they want to peddle us over to news republic which was horrible on its best day and filled with trash news. I'm gone. Such a shame I used it everyday.
