Once you’ve downloaded this app you’ll wonder how on earth you lived without it before. Its easy to use interface allows drivers to see every on street and off street parking space in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Coventry and Cambridge and helps you make informed choices about parking before you arrive. It can even tell you if it’s OK to park on single yellow lines!
Green zones show you when it’s free to park and red zones tell you when restrictions still apply. If free parking isn’t available then AppyParking offers a host of other options nearest to you such as Paid Meter Bays and Off Street Car Parks.
We've added NCP and Q Park car parks across the UK showing locations and tariffs so you can find cheapest and nearest car parks if on street parking isn't available. We've also added over 1,200 other UK car parks in Edinburgh, Manchester, Brighton, Bristol, Bournemouth, Coventry, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Norwich and Cambridge showing locations and tariffs including train stations and airports to help you find somewhere to park wherever you are.
Because we're always looking for ways to save our users money, you can now save a small fortune every month by finding the Cheapest and Nearest petrol wherever you are in the UK. You can save up to £8 per tank across the UK, and up to £33 per tank in London simply by searching a 10, 5, or 2 miles radius for the cheapest and nearest petrol leaving you more of your hard earned pennies. You can also choose what fuel type and what brand of petrol station you’d like to see. Perfect if you use a fuel card. Used to be a reasonable app, now rendered useless due to working only in Dundee and Harrogate 🙄 To use the App for anywhere else you are offered to download a clone of the original app where after an initial trial you are forced to pay to use it. I will go elsewhere instead for similar functionality.
This app used to be great, it's now unusable because we're forced to use the new app which is much worse and has half the features of the current version - an unnecessary update no one asked for/needed.
It comes up with an advert for appy parking plus all the time to the point I can't even view the map so it's basically not usable anymore...
Hey can you remove the overlay to download appyparking+ please. I used to use this app to look up free parking zones and that can't be done anymore
Thay deleted my comment as I twas 1 star. This app was amazing then they made a new one and removed half the features. Very disappointed. Will be u installing and looking for alternatives
This app is great, allowing me to see what parking is available and providing a way for me to more easily and accurately check how much parking will cost. Through using this it has actually saved me money - charging to the penny rather than blocks and letting me know when parking is free of charge. It also allows you to easily top up. The only thing is it can be hard to identify where your marker and your "cursor" are; this is clear enough but is easier if you can focus on it.
Great app. Very convenient for places like London. Reliable too, I've not come across any of the data in the app being wrong thus far and I've been regularly using it for more than a year. If you've ever felt like finding a parking space in a large city is a chore and a headache, this app will definitely help alleviate that feeling.
I use this everytime I need to find parking in London and it is super helpful and tells you if it's free or how much it costs to park. Another good feature I've noticed is that you can also use it for any country. I would definitely recommend! One thing to note is that sometimes you have to zoom out a bit before the recommended parking areas show up.
Changed my rating as I do believe this app is helpful in knowing the areas where I can and cannot park. The bugs that happen is on and off like with any app that exists. I emailed the developers who were very prompt in replying and the problem I had was resolved quickly so I hope that this consistency remains and that this app does improve because I feel it is helpful for us drivers. Would recommend this app regardless!
This app has recently started acting up. Whilst I was out today, the app refused to open and kept telling me to check my data connection. But as soon as I was home, the app started working again with WiFi connection. I then switched off the WiFi and encountered the same problem. So had to delete the app and reinstall again
Why change a working product? The new upgrade is atrocious. Uninstalling this app as soon as I find an alternative.
The app itself tells you to download Appyparking+.... Yet it doesn't seem to exist
They removed all the features so they could put it behind a paywall on the new app. This app is now useless.
Downgrading to your new app is the *worst* thing you could have done. Horrible user interface, non- intuitive, forcing us to pay for parking info. You've alienated your whole audience... you should have added ads instead of trying to force everyone to pay for the basics. Your old app was beyond amazing, so helpful and I had been a user for years. I was even recommending it to people. Both apps are useless now, so uninstalled. Moved to Parkopedia
Keep getting pop ups and unable to use the app, please fix it
Fantastic and easy to use. the estimates of available parking have been accurate every time we've used it. No more hunting for parking. also have used the ability to top up a session when we've been out longer than expected so we dont have to run back to the car to to add time.
Inital problems and difficulty in getting it to work meant I gave a bad review but after their support staff were extremely helpfuland sorted my issues out, it turned out to be a good app. It could do with a little more instruction on how to use it although I did find video tutorials later. Support staff went out of their way to sort out problems and to take on board my comments about motorcycles (& even contacted a local authority to sort out a problem - above and beyond support!) and are issuing a new version based on the information I gave.
Frustrating and confusing. I enter the specific times I want (e.g. 4 hours) and it still litters the screen with bays that are only 1 hour. User interface is cluttered and difficult to navigate. Lots of information missing on pricing and restrictions. Basically useless I'm afraid.
Great app, mostly easy to use. I would love it if my settings (barrier entry for instance) would persist over updates. It is no fun fumbling with the app at the multi-story car-park entrance, looking like a choad.
Absolutely rubbish. Installed the app and register myself (all good) after 18 min I parked got a text with receipt. Had been charged and app believed I had driven away. Had to walk back and get normal ticket through machine. Checked the app receipt and they charge a comission! So instead of 0.70£ (what I shoulh have put in the street machine) ended up paying £1.70! Not worth it at all.
Good explanations, easy to set up and (especially when in a car park) use. Simple things, like notifying the company when I've finished the parking session, means I only pay for when the car is parked up and not a full hour afterwards. This is useful.
have used this app a few times, have been overcharged each time. was advertised in my area as charged for the time you use but was charged by the hour, over by 4 minutes and you get the extra charge. supposed to automatically terminate charges when you leave your spot but does not do this. could be a good app but feel ripped off☹.
Heard all the hype about this but at the moment it doesn't rock my boat. It would be better if you could have satellite view or at least a dark theme, also need to add more north east cities/towns on the quick access area. I'll give another review after a month or so you could increase your rating.
The whole purpose of using the app is so that it can tell you where there is free parking and/or restricted parking. However, this app is very inaccurate. There has been many times where it has stated that there is free parking on a road and ehen you travel there it's a no parking zone
Very easy to use, even for more than one car. Although not at the same time. 30 p charge isn't too bad really considering you can end your session early and just pay for whatever time you have used the space rather than overpaying in cash 'just in case'.
Logged on a started my session. Went into town and returned 2hrs later to a parking ticket! When I checked the app, it had ended my parking only 40mins in while my car was still parked. Coincided with the time I used my phone for a contact less payment for coffee. Will be contesting the ticket because of the app.
