APsystems ECU App
The APsystems Energy Communication Unit-Residential (ECU-R) is the information gateway to and from APsystems solar microinverters. The unit collects module performance data from each microinverter unit and transfers this information to an online database in real time, requiring only an Internet connection (via wired CAT5 or Wi-Fi) and power cable. Through the APsystems Energy Monitoring and Analysis (EMA) cloud-based service, the ECU-R gives the homeowner precise analysis of each microinverter and module in their solar installation.
-See the status and configuration of the ECU-R gateway and monitor each inverter
-Display real-time energy production and other performance data
-Connect ECU-R to the router to upload data to the server and control the ECU-R gateway
-Obtain an IP address automatically or use a static IP address
-Reset inverter IDs in the ECU-R

App looks nice, but after setting up the panels it has literally no use. You have to connect directly to the router to use the app functionally, otherwise it's useless. All the solar data is sent to their website where you log in to view it instead of doing the logical thing and integrating the exported data to the same login to be viewed from the app.
It's pretty bad. You really don't need this app once the little APsystems box is set up but to configure the box using this app... The worst app. Doesn't even let you turn off the Wifi. How come I can only manage it using wifi but it's connected using the LAN cable... I can't get this thing to upload data to APsystems. Suddenly just stopped working. The other app EMAAPP is slightly better.
Cannot access system with app. Even the provided link for doing it in browser doesnt work on desktop. Only the link on mobile browser actually shows data. Truly awful system.
What's the point of this app? I have to connect directly to the ECUs wifi connection rather than via the internet, therefore I am no longer connected to the internet while viewing power info! Awful. Uninstalling!!!!
The app does not stay open long enough to put in data. Considerably unstable app. Forces itself closed in less than 10 seconds from opening.
So a number of people seem confused. This app is for the installers to configure the system / microinverters, that's why you connect directly to the unit. Homeowners should have the installers make an account, and then they use the EMA App with the homeowner login, not this app. You're not supposed to continuously use this app, only for configuration.
The older app stopped working a few weeks ago so i downloaded this app. Is there a user manual on how to get it to work?. I put my ecu id in but it wont connect. What am i doing wrong?. Do i need to do something with the router or other?
This is an app for installers to program the communication unit. If users are interested in seeing the power they produce they should use the EMA app
Needs to allow for WiFi access when not broadcasting WiFi ID. Please add the option to input the WiFi ID. I do not broadcast my WiFi ID
The old version EMAAP is available on their site and it works. There will be a new version soon.
Can't connect to my ecu with this app - best option is with browser portal or over my LAN with browser
Old app stopped letting me log in so I tried new version now as many below state it says ecu disconnected.

Keeps crashing. Needs updating.

This is stupid. You have to disconnect from your wifi to get the information you are wanting then close out the app and reconnect to your wifi...dumb
It won't find my ECU and I can't find anywhere to set it.every time I try to do anything it says failed connect to ECU
An absolutely USELESS app. Displays an error every time I try to scan or manually enter my device ID. The app even fails to sync the date and time with my phone--the most basic automatic function of every app in the 21st century! It won't accept a manual input for date and time either. Absolutely nothing about this app works except the launch icon.
