Well it was good up until the latest update. Now I have to logout and log back in every time I open the app for data to show up. Another feature that would be nice is for the app to remember the number you punch in for the cost of electricity so you can quickly see how much you are saving instead of having to enter it each time.
The app gives a good overview of current system production in an aesthetically pleasing display. The panel level display is very detailed so one can see if an individual panel is underproducing or damaged. One shortcoming is there is no option to get notified if a panel or microinverter is producing low or no power when it should be. FYI, data is delayed in 10 minute intervals so you are not seeing live data.
Provides enough info on PV system production and individual panel performance. Keeps production data stored for months so far. One drawback is refresh rate is quite slow. Seems at least 5 min. I'm sure it's to keep data rate low and save on server load/bandwidth/storage. Deducting 1 star for that.
In month overview arrows should change per month, and in the year view per year, and NOT per day as it is now. This isn't logical. Can you change? Again!
I am experiencing the same issues as others. I have to clear cache and data and log back in before the app will display. This is extremely annoying and time consuming. I sure hope the issue gets fixed soon so I can enjoy the app again.
Seem it's not possible to review an app more than once ? but In the latest update (18.02-2022) it never manage to connect and get anny data , it's just loading and loading, all is empty , even my account information , tried reinstalling then it work this session , next day the same issue , If I reinstall it works again,, (using the APsystem website to same system it works fine ) Otherwise great app
App worked fine until latest update. It doesn't show the data right away, but when you log out and log back in its there. Very anoying to do that every time.
It crashes when you go to the benifits calculator, type a number and hit the "enter" key on the phone keyboard. Data it shows is nice, but it's still got some issues. Would be nice to have it sync up with the utility providers info. Would like to see all the same info between the app and web browser too.
Downgraded to 2 stars. APsystems reply (April-01) to similar comment stated problem was resolved by an update. I'm running latest version (8.0.1) and still have problem @ the end of May. Even after uninstall/reinstall. Generally works. The display does not refresh when switching back to the app. Selecting a button or swiping the screen should refresh the display. Also, the benefits calculator should retain the cost value so I don't always have to reenter the price per kwh.
Lot's of annoyances. Worst is if device focus is changed to other app/screensaver and focus returned to EMA then the current view doesn't update, but any animation shows. The Benefits Calculator price per kWh is not persistent. In Data view using a finger to select a column the data is displayed at the height of the finger. The column data is almost always behind the finger from a normal viewpoint and can't be read without repositioning your head. Data view date select gives day before selected
Update is useless, uninstalling, thnx for nothing.
App doesn't work, you can sign in and see data for a bit, but then stops working till you log out and back in.
Thanks for fixing problem so quickly! The app now works as advertised. Since the March 29th update, I get an error message about not being able to connect to network. Rebooted phone, same error! Worked fine the day before update. Why does app need access to camera and microphone to tell me how much power my solar panels are putting out.
App stopped showing data/info. Have to logout and login to see info. But then issue returns when opening app again.
App is OK but could be pretty good with some minor improvements. As previous reviewers have stated ... only way to refresh data is to close & re-open the app & the benefits calculator does not store the price per kWh you enter. Only been using for 1 week but today I've been getting a "network request error" even though I can access the web portal just fine. Maintainers: would LOVE to be able to refresh simply by pulling down (like most other apps). That alone would make it a 4 star app!
app doesn't work well on my OnePlus 5 Android phone. Won't display data or charts. My name is incomplete, and it shows country in Chinese rather than English). It works much better on our iPhone. Using website instead of Android app, displays all info correctly.
App does what I need. It shows me the current production, each panel, and the data is useful. However, I don't understand why it needs access to my media and files on my phone. It works fine without allowing that access. If it didn't, it would not be installed. You don't need to access my data to display data from your servers.
Works as advertised but not reliably. Randomly shows 2 modules as "NC" for a day but works fine the next. Never the same 2 nodules. Does not show historical data from inverters that have failed and replaced.
Thanks you so much for fixing the app! Amazing response. I like the updated design a lot. My only suggestion would be to enlarge the graphic of the array module....it is much smaller than previous design. Thanks again 😊
inverters are always losing connection to ecu and show NC on module screen. I've had the tech come out multiple times the connections are fine and panels are generating but not showing correctly in the app. so it's basically useless
Since the latest update, I am unable to view the individual panel output. The modules icon is missing from the bottom navigation. This is an important function in the app and I don't understand why it was removed.
If it works provide information but often the daily results are not loaded. Also there is no loading indicator or message if something goes wrong. It just doesn't show the graph.
Very nice view of the complete PV installation. Except the grafical representation of the energy in Data makes no sense at all. It should be a cumulation of the energy generated that day, so from zero on the left to the total on the right. No idea what the devellopers are thinking to show this way...
