Decent enough app, could do with some attention to accuracy, some questions are attached to wrong answers such as the app claiming that closed questions provide rich and in depth data, and the quizzes should allow you to select the over all topics to be tested on, because due to Covid 19 I only need to revise: Memory, Research methods, Attachment, Social Influence and Psychopathology. So the Approaches and Biopsychology topics are irrelevant and I would love to deselect rather than wasting time.
Hi from the tim squad This app works Hasnt been updated in forever but whatever Blast from the past
Easy to navigate and it has all the information that I need
The drag and matching questions do not work meaning no guiz can be finished.
Does what is says on the tin.
I really like both apps in this series and have found them moderately useful for my revision. However, I think there are ways to make them slightly easier to use such as being able to search for a word across all topics (such as 'reliability' in order to find examples in different topics of good/bad reliability). Also I think they could be more exciting and interactive with more varied quizzes and a more colourful design. However, I find them both very useful and accessible overall.
I just used the information from this app, because it has even more than you need, but every thing in it is relevant and can get you marks. Every note I made was from this app, I ditched my school folder. I'll update with my grade, but any mark lower than 100% is my own fault, this app is all you need
In the memory section, Baddeley's research on encoding has an error. Claims he found acoustically similar words were remembered worst for the STM, yet in the book and his other findings that STM is encoded acoustically.
All information relevant, easy to revise from but occasional errors when trying to take topic quiz (some buttons dont work when I try to swap them around or press them) but overall very good revision material :)
Best revision app I've seen in a while, however watch out as some of the content is incorrect ( like 1% and you'll figure it out assuming you use the book as well)
This would be good for revising for the actual exam. For example, you wouldn't want questions on psychopathology when you're revising for your first exam. This would be an excellent feature for the as of next year and maybe even more useful for a2.
Everything is layed out nicely. Ther is no confusion with the type of words so its simple to understand for exams. Overall, its awesome!!
This app is great! I use this for all my revision and it gives you in depth explanations and real life examples. Love it!
I think they should also include topic tests for a whole topic not just the book overall or the individual sub topics within the main topics
Good revision tool
This app would be great of it was 100% correct, however there are too many errors. (1 example: in the Types of Conformity quiz the revision slides tell you the ISI is associated with people having to make quick decisions, the quiz however says that the right answer is Normative Social Influence. Considering that this app is being used for students revising for exams this is absolutely unacceptable, I would even go as far as saying dangerous. It's a shame, this app would otherwise be brilliant.
