- How do I get Google Music to work with Aquarium?A
- First start your Google Music playlist then start the Aquarium video. Your Google Music will stop as the Aquarium Media Player takes control of your TV audio. Then click 'Home' on your keyboard and go to the notifications button (far left.) There you can restart your Google Music.

- Videos sometimes skip, what should I do?A
- Videos may skip due to insufficient bandwidth on your home network. Aquarium does its best to select video quality appropriate for your network but it can not control other network activity on your home network that may cause skipping.
About Video Quality & Duration:
* Live action video was shot in 1080p @ 24mbps with a Sony HD camcorder using Sony's highest quality settings. Videos were then transcoded to MP4 at a standard data rate of 5mbps, which is roughly equivalent to 720p HD video.
Trouble Downloading?
* Google TV users have reported several issues with downloading applications for their Google TV. If you have difficulty downloading or keep getting your purchase canceled by Google, try rebooting your device. This has worked for other users.

has a single, pleasant song that loops incessantly, with no fish tank sounds. or at least not on a google tv where the checkbox fot it is disabled. due to those 2 factors i dont see myself using this much. fix them and its a 5 star app.
By the time I realized this app didn't work for my Google TV Logitech Revue, the time window where you could request a refund was gone! I wish the time frame went back up to a half hour, wasted my money and I'm not too happy
How come the fish tank sound effect is disabled with Google TV? Would love to see that. Also it is a bit laggy at times even though my internet connection is extremely high speed. It would also be nice if you could add/remove fish and other item. A custom tank if you will.
The motion is quite jumpy, as if something is stealing CPU from this app.
please refund me ASAP because by the time i had tried it out and realised it don't work the refund period had ran out which was only about 10 mins
whatever happened to the fish tank sound. i used to put the screensaver on and sleep with the soothing bubble sound running but it has disappeared after the update. Disappointed, please fix.
Will not work
It eats all your bandwidth every time you fire it up, because it's streaming the same video from Youtube every time. If that's what you want, just bookmark the youtube video yourself and save some change.
I've always been a big fan of fish screensavers since the heady days of Flying Toasters, but this takes the genre to a whole other level. If I ran this for a week in my lobby and charged people $1 every time they thought it's an actual fish tank, I'd have rent money. The animation clarity of the swimming fish is simply stellar, and the app intelligently detects your bandwidth to optimize itself. If your connection is fast enough, the animation at full resolution is breathtaking. There are four pre-set scenes with real-life sea creatures and an additional CG Loop scene that's equally impressive. And the latest build even supports Google Music. Amazing. 5 stars doesn't do this must-have work justice. For $0.99, I feel like I'm robbing the developer. They say that staring at fish is soothing for the soul...and that staring at fire will drive you crazy. I'm not sure I'm willing to test the limits of that theory...but I'm super stoked to have the option to do either.
The app did not work on the first installation. Once rebooting and installing again, the app was nothing more than some pre-recorded video of fish. The quality is overall POOR, even though the app claims it is in 1080p, it is limited by your bandwidth as it is streaming from the internet. The video often is choppy or freezes. I could watch better video on YouTube quite frankly.
I always wanted to have a fishtank but the expense and maintenance would have been too much. However with this app I can finally have an awesome aquarium. I even named one of the fish. His name is dolphie. This app also is nice for a nightlight. The music makes it even better. Best buck I ever spent!
The app does what it says, and beautifully. The videos are high-quality and very realistic. My only complaints are the sound effects are over-loud and not at all soothing, and the app simply will not close or exit. I've tried everything, but there it sits. I have to reboot the unit to get rid of it! If the developer can fix this glitch, I'll live with the hokey sound effects, and gladly.
Looks good pity it needs to stream a video. I had trouble exitting it. For $1 it was worth a look.
this app is horrible i'm unable to uninstall it from my google tv device.
Just installed to playback on 60" LED and it looks great! My hope is that there will be more video options to choose from soon. The current 5-6 options are good, but they could be better. Overall, it's a great $.99 investment!
very relaxing... i use it as a screensaver sometmes in my livingroom. we need more stuff like this on gtv! :)

auto play freezes on google tv need fix for smooth video playback so it looks like a real aquarium

is this based on streaming? sometimes video lags, and sometimes i cannot exit the app.
This is exactly the type of application that google tv needs more of. The video is very beautiful and relaxing. makes a great way to liven up the living room when not watching tv. i hope we get to see more apps like this in the future.
Unless you're using Fios or have a T3 at home, don't waste your money. This app looks great, but the video is fed through a live stream. An option to cache the feed would be a game changer. Hope this inspires the developer.
