When you go to a fish, at the bottom it says to search more about this fish and when I click that it goes to a google custom search on that fish. So I started browsing a website and then decided I wanted to go back. So I pressed the back button on my phone at the bottom, which didn't work. There was no button on-screen to press either, so to go back I had to close the app and start over.
I don't know anyone that calls their tropical fish by the scientific name, not even a LFS (local fish store). If this app could list fish by their common names, then it would easily be a 5 Star app.
Comprehensive list of many organisms with good information. However, apart from doing a plain search, there doesn't seem to be a way to sort the results. All the corals, fish and plants are just stuck on a list and then you have to scroll through page by page.
Great app, good integration of visuals and scientific names. Surprisingly good search help. Could do with a better browse function. worst point is that the species name in the scientific name of a fish is cut off when it is too long, and you get only the genus and have to guess from the pictures. For instance, the search 'corydoras' gives many results, but not all species names are fully visible under the pictures. Share Whatsapp would be nice. Small complaints compared with quality of total. Thanks!
Very very good info could do with updating and adding more shrimp if possible (tropical) thank you for great info app
I the like app, however the fish that I am currently keeping, The Giant Pangasius or commonly known as Paroon Sharks is not here. I hope they add a tad bit more species.
Very help full. Need to make more user friendly tho. Wish you had full details on every spices, don't like the stuff that comes up in the quick search
The UI need to be improved. Database is incomplete. Please add a request option for species not in the list.
Great app, but would it be too difficult to offer US conversions for weights, volumes, temp, and measurements? Leaves many of us frustrated, as apps should make life easier, not bring maths into play. :-)
I don't have an aquarium and I probably won't for a while but I just love reading about fish.
A good basic resources with additional references hyperlinked.
Needs more info and common names
It's worth a try.
very useful and profession
All information at one place
I hope can search by photo or picture
My title explains all of it.
Special book for hobbyist
I guess its because it hasnt been updated for a while, but there is missing A LOT of very common fishes. If it contained a better selection of fish it would be to a use, but like this NO
